Connecting lumbar supports

Connecting Lumbar supports are lumbar supports that can be connected or put together side by side to create a custom contoured cushion for lumbar support. The ability to disassemble the support cushion easily and reassemble the lumbar supports in unique order lets the user customize the support cushion as needed. The lumbar supports connect in a front to back order with ease. The connecting lumbar supports can be used in many different applications. There are many different types of lumbar supports that can be made into connecting lumbar supports.

Description
BACKGROUND

1. Field of Invention

This invention relates to lumbar supports and support cushions used for lumbar support, specifically to customizable cushions that are used for lumbar support.

2. Background

Lumbar supports and cushions used for lumbar support usually come in a particular size, shape, and softness which lends a hand to meeting the lumbar support needs of the user. This lumbar support need by the user is not usually static, but dynamic, changing over time. A particular lumbar support remains the same, where the user's needs change.

Connecting lumbar supports are several individual lumbar support cushions usually of varying cylindrical sizes that are connected together side by side in a customizable fashion by the user to meet the lumbar support needs of the user at that time of their need.

OBJECTS AND ADVANTAGES

Accordingly, several objects and advantages of my invention are that it can be customized by the user easily. It can be taken a part easily and reassembled again in a different manner to fit the user's needs or objectives of use quickly. The customized assembly of the connecting lumbar supports can achieve unique contours that are not easily achieved. The simplistic design lends a hand to provide a useful tool for the user in the user's time of need. Further objects and advantages of my invention will become apparent from a consideration of the drawings and ensuing description.

DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION

FIG. 1 shows a front side angled view of a basic version of my invention. A generic lumbar support (2) is shown in FIG. 1. Hook fasteners (1) are attached at each end of the front side of the generic lumbar support (2). The hook fasteners (1) are ideally sown onto the front side of the generic lumbar support (2) at each end. FIG. 2 shows a back side angled view of a generic lumbar support (2). Loop fasteners (3) are attached at each end of the back side of the generic lumbar support (2). The generic lumbar support (2) has a basic cylindrical round tubular shape of medium size, about a 4 inch diameter and a 16 inch length.

REFERENCE NUMERALS IN DRAWING

1) Hook fasteners

2) Generic Lumbar support

3) Loop Fastener

4) 4 inch Diameter Lumbar support

5) 5 inch Diameter Lumbar support

6) 6 inch Diameter Lumbar support

7) 7 inch Diameter Lumbar support

Operation of Invention

Generic lumbar support (2) has a front and back side with hook (1) and Loop (3) fasteners sown onto each end on each side respectfully of the lumbar support. The front side has hook fasteners (1) sown onto each end of the Generic lumbar support (2). The back side has Loop fasteners (3) sown onto each end of the generic lumbar support (2). Using several different sized lumbar supports that have hook fasteners (1) sown on at each end of the front side and loop fasteners (3) sown on at each end of the back side makes it possible to connect the different lumbar supports together, front to back. Connecting the lumbar supports together, front to back, allows the user to quickly assemble a customized lumbar support cushion. The back side loop fastener (3) of one lumbar support fastens to the front side hook fastener (1) of another lumbar support. Two or more connecting lumbar supports can be connected together to form a custom contoured lumbar support cushion.

Conclusion, Ramifications, And Scope of Invention

Thus the reader will see that the connecting lumbar supports of the present invention provides a reliable, functional, and dynamic apparatus that can be used by persons of any lumbar support need. While my above description contains many specifities, these should not be construed as limitations on the scope of the invention, but rater as an exemplification of one preferred embodiment thereof. Many other variations are possible. For example, different lengths, shapes, softness, and sizes. Accordingly, the scope of the Invention should be determined not by the embodiments illustrated, but by the appended claims and their legal equivalents.
