Dual electric cord reels with an open-slotted mutual middle wheel or a fenestrated mutual middle wheel

Abstract

When one wants to store an electric cord he/she first has to start to store electric cord either from plug end or socket end. And when he/she wants to use electric cord he/she has to unwind electric cord all the way to expose both plug end and socket end for use. Dual electric cord reels with an open-slotted mutual middle wheel or a fenestrated mutual middle wheel can store the plug side of electric cord in one side of its reel and socket side at the other side of its reel with both plug end and socket end exposed outside. Therefore one can unwind plug end and socket end of electric cord simultaneously to the length he/she needs for use and does not have to unwind whole electric cord for use.

Description

THE BACKGROUND OF INVENTION

When we use reel to store long electric cord we have to start to store either the plug end first or the socket end first. In this way either the plug end or the socket end is hidden at the inner most part of the reel. And when we want to use it we have to unwind electric cord all the way to the inner most end to expose both plug for use. Dual electric cord reels with an open-slotted mutual middle wheel or a fenestrated mutual middle wheel which has two reels connect together and share one mutual middle wheel which has an open slot or a fenestration can solve this problem. After inserting the middle portion of one electric cord to the open slot of open-slotted mutual middle wheel or inserting either plug end or socket end through the fenestration of fenestrated mutual middle wheel to half way of electric cord one can wind dual electric reel to store simultaneously plug side of electric cord at one side of dual electric cord reels and the socket side of electric cord at the other side with both plug and socket exposed outside for storage. When one wants to use electric cord he/she unwinds dual electric cord reels to simultaneously both plug side and socket side to the length needed for use and does not have to release whole electric cord to expose both plug end and socket end for use.

THE BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Dual electric cod reels comprise two electric cord reels which connect together and share one mutual middle wheel which has an open slot or a fenestration. The open slot of mutual middle wheel is opened through about half way to three-fourths length of wheel to allow electric cord to pass. The fenestration of mutual middle wheel is large enough to pass plug or socket of electric cord. When one wants to store an electric cord in dual electric cord reels he/she first inserts the middle part of electric cord into the slot or passes plug or socket of electric cord to half way of electric cord and then winds dual electric reels to store the plug side of electric cord in one side and socket side of electric cord in another side of dual electric cord reels. When one wants to use electric cord he/she unwinds simultaneous the plug side and socket side of electric cord to the length of electric cord he/she needs for use and does not have to unwind whole cord to expose both plug end and socket end for use.

Referring now in detail to the drawing numeral 10 of FIG. 1 is the dual electric cord reels with an open slotted middle wheel. Dual electric cord reels with an open slotted middle wheel has three wheels 11, 12 and 13 of FIG. 1. Numeral 11 of FIG. 1 is of one of three to wheels of dual electric cord reel 10 of FIG. 1. Numeral 12 of FIG. 1 is the open-slotted middle wheel which has an open slot of dual electric cord reels 10. Numeral 13 of FIG. 1 is another one of three wheels of dual electric cord reels 10. Numeral 14 of FIG. 1 is central roller which has installed wheel 11, open-slotted middle wheel 12 and wheel 13 of dual electric cord reels 10 of FIG. 1. Numeral 15 of FIG. 1 is open slot of open-slotted middle wheel 12. Open slot 15 of FIG. 1 is opened about half way to three-fourths way through open-slotted middle wheel 12 and is large enough to admit electric cord. After inserting the middle part of one electric cord into the open slot 15 one can wind dual electric cord reels with an open-slotted middle wheel 10 of FIG. 1 to store simultaneously both plug side and socket side of electric cord. When one wants to use electric cord which is stored in dual electric cord with an open-slotted middle wheel 10 of FIG. 1 he/she unwinds dual electric cord reels with an open-slotted middle wheel 10 to release simultaneously both plug part and socket part of electric cord to the length of electric cord he/she needs for use and does not have to release whole electric cord to expose plug end and socket end for use. Numeral 16 of FIG. 2 is the dual electric cord reels with a fenestrated middle wheel. Numeral 17 of FIG. 2 is one of three wheels of dual electric cord reels 16 of FIG. 2. Numeral 18 of FIG. 2 is the fenestrated middle wheel which a fenestration larger than plug or socket of electric cord of dual electric cord reels with a fenestrated middle wheel 16 of FIG. 2. Numeral 19 of FIG. 2 is another one of the three wheels of dual electric cord reels with a fenestrated middle wheel 16 of FIG. 2. Numeral 20 of FIG. 2 is central roller which has installed three wheels 17, 18 and 19 of dual electric cord reels with a fenestrated middle wheel 16 of FIG. 2. Numeral 21 of FIG. 2 is the fenestration of the fenestrated middle wheel 18 of FIG. 2. The fenestration 21 of FIG. 2 is large enough to pass plug or sockef electric cord. After inserting one electric cord half way through the fenestration 21 of FIG. 2 one can wind dual electric cord reels with a fenestrated middle wheel 16 to store simultaneously plug side and socket side of electric cord into dual electric cord with a fenestrated middle wheel 16 of FIG. 2. When one wants to use electric cord which is stored in dual electric cord reels with fenestrated middle wheel 16 of FIG. 2 he/she unwinds it to release simultaneously both plug part and socket part of electric cord to the length needed for use and does not have to release whole electric cord to expose both plug end and socket end for use.

Claims

1. Dual electric cord reels comprising two reels which connect together and share one mutual middle wheel which has an open slot or a fenestration.

2. Said one mutual middle wheel which has an open slot of claim 1 comprising a wheel which has an open slot opening from rim all the way down to one half to three-fourths length of wheel.

3. Said one mutual middle wheel which has a fenestration of claim 1 comprising a wheel which has a fenestration large enough to pass plug or socket of electric cord.

4. Said mutual middle wheel of claim 1 comprising a wheel which can be a wheel which is fixed to said dual electric cord reels of claim 1 or a removable wheel which can be attached onto said dual electric reels of claim 1.
