COSMETIC ORGANIZER
The embodiments of the present invention are directed to an organizer for cosmetic applicator, in particular, make-up brushes, where the organizer itself is also a make-up brush that can be used by the user.
This application claims priority to U.S. Provisional Application No. 61/615,189, entitled “Bella Rush Beauty Brush” filed Mar. 23, 2012 which is hereby incorporated by reference.
FIELD OF THE INVENTIONThe embodiments of the present invention relate generally to an organizer for cosmetic applicators, and, more particularly, an organizer that can be used itself as a cosmetic applicator.
SUMMARYAccording to a first aspect of the invention, there is provided a makeup brush holder apparatus having a body, a cover, a base and a plurality of applicators. The body has an interior region and an external wall surrounding the interior region, the body having a proximal end and a distal end. The cover is fabricated for releasable attachment to the proximal end of the body. The cover has an exterior surface on which is located a brush head. The base is fabricated for releasable attachment to the distal end of the body. The plurality of cosmetic applicators of make-up brushes are housed within the interior region of the body wherein the plurality of brushes are protected from external damage by the body and the cover and base when the cover and base are attached to the body.
According to another aspect of the invention, there is provided a makeup brush holder apparatus having a body, a cover and means for opening the body to allow a plurality of brushes to be removed from the body. The body has an interior region and an external wall surrounding the interior region, the body having a proximal end and a distal end. The plurality of make-up brushes are housed within the interior region of the body wherein the plurality of brushes are protected from external damage by the body.
Preferably, the cover 14 has an exterior surface 28 on which is located a brush head 30. The base 16 is fabricated for releasable attachment to the distal end 26 of the body 12. The cosmetic applicators 18 are housed within the interior region 20 of the body 12 where they are protected from external damage by the body 12 and the base 16 and cover 14 when they are attached to the body 12. In a preferred embodiment, a palette 32 (see
The cover 14 and base 16 can be fabricated to be screwed onto the respective ends of the body 12, or snap fitted or friction fitted thereon or any other mechanism for joining the pieces together. In particular, the cover 14 has a section 18 that fits inside the body in a concentric arrangement. In a preferred embodiment, as illustrated, the body 12 is cylindrical in shape.
The organizer 10, 110, 210 may be made of metal, plastic or other suitable material. Preferably, it has a length ranging from about 12 inches to about 7 inches and preferably it is about 9.5 inches. If the organizer is made of a separate base 16, cover 14 and body 12, the base 16 may have a length of about 2 inches, the cover 14 may have a length of about 3 inches and the body 12 may have a length of about 4.5 inches. Its width ranges from about 2 inches to about 5 inches. The width of the body 212 need not be constant throughout the length of the body 212 but may be narrowed or expanded. The material of the organizer 10, 110, 210 may be any color and texture imaginable.
