DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The following detailed description is of the best currently contemplated modes of carrying out exemplary embodiments of the invention. The description is not to be taken in a limiting sense, but is made merely for the purpose of illustrating the general principles of the invention, since the scope of the invention is best defined by the appended claims.

Broadly, an embodiment of the present invention provides an attachable sleeve that may be secured to a bra. The attachable sleeve may include a tubular body with a top end and a bottom end. The attachable sleeve may further include a plurality of straps attached to the tubular body at the top end. The plurality of straps may include a first strap, a second strap and a third strap. The first strap and the second strap may attach together over the shoulder of a user. The third strap may wrap around and connect to the first strap, second strap, and bra of the user. Once connected, the straps may secure the sleeve to the arm so that when a user lifts the arm, the straps remain underneath the short sleeve of the user and remain unseen.

The present invention may include a sleeve that attaches to a woman's bra by at least one strap. The sleeve may be worn with a short sleeve shirt. The present invention may be worn underneath a short sleeved shirt and cover the arms in a fashionable way without having to wear multiple layers. The present invention may attach to the bra so that the sleeve may stay in place at the underarm and all the way around the upper arm so as to keep the arm from showing underneath a short sleeve shirt sleeve when the arm is lifted. The straps may be adjustable so that the present invention may attach to the bra without being too tight, which may cause uncomfortable pinching. The sleeve may be a variety of lengths including, but not limited to, reaching the elbow or wrist of the user.

Referring to FIGS. 1 through 7, the present invention may include an attachable sleeve. The attachable sleeve may include a tubular body 10 having a top end and a bottom end. The tubular body 10 may fit around a user's arm 28 and may mimic a sleeve. In certain embodiments, the tubular body 10 may be made of a cotton spandex knit so that the sleeve may stretch to snuggly fit onto the arm 28 of a user 26.

The present invention may further include a plurality of straps. The plurality of straps may include a first strap 12, a second strap 14, and a third strap 16. The plurality of straps may include a first end and a second end. The first ends may be attached to the top end of the tubular body 10. In certain embodiments, the first strap 12 and the second strap 14 may act as underarm straps. As illustrated in the Figures, the first strap 12 and the second strap 14 may attach to the tubular body 10 on a side and may be secured around the arm pit and over the shoulder of a user 26. The third strap 16 may be a side strap and attach to the opposite side of the first strap 12 and second strap 14. The third strap 16 may run up the side of the shoulder and attach to the first strap 12 and second strap 14.

In certain embodiments, the present invention may include a first connector. The first connector may be attached to at least one of the second ends of the first strap 12 and the second strap 14. The first connector may releasably connect the first strap 12 and the second strap 14 together. The present invention may further include a second connector attached to the third strap 16. The second connector may attach the second end of the third strap 16 to the first strap 12 and second strap 14. As illustrated in the Figures, the second connector may attach the third strap 16 to the first strap 12 and the second strap 14 when the first strap 12 and the second strap 14 are connected.

In certain embodiments, the first connector may include a buckle 20 that is attached to the first strap 12. The first connector may also include a first mate 22 and second mate 22 attached to the second strap 14. The second strap 14 may be releasably attachable to the buckle 20 by the first mate 22 and the second mate 22 attaching together. In certain embodiments, the first mate 22 and second mate 22 may include male and female buttons, clips, hook and loop fasteners, and the like.

In certain embodiments of the present invention, the buckle 20 of the present invention may include a closed loop and an open loop. The closed loop may be attached to the first strap 12. The second strap 14 may be releasable connectable to the open loop. As illustrated in the Figures, the second strap 14 may wrap around the open loop and the first mate 22 may connect with the second mate 22 securing the first strap 12 to the second strap 14. In certain embodiments, a bra strap 18 may be secured to the open loop of the buckle 20.

In certain embodiments, the second connector may be attached to the third strap 16. The second connector may include a first mate 24 and a second mate 24. The first mate 24 may be attached near the top end of the third strap 16 and the second mate 24 may be attached below the first mate 24. The first mate 24 and the second mate 24 may be releasably attachable to one another. In certain embodiments, the first mate 24 and second mate 24 may include male and female buttons, clips, hook and loop fasteners, and the like. The third strap 16 may wrap around the connected first strap 12, second strap 14, and bra 18 and the first mate 24 and the second mate 24 may be releasably connected. An outer garment 30 may be worn by the user 26, which may cover the straps 12, 14, 16.

A method of wearing an attachable sleeve may include the following. A sleeve having a tubular body with a top end and a bottom end may be provided. The sleeve may further include a first strap, a second strap, and a third strap which may be connected to the top end of the tubular body. A user may place their arm through the tubular body. The first strap and the second strap may be connected together over a shoulder of the user. The third strap may be wrapped around the first strap, the second strap, and a bra of the user creating a loop around the first strap, the second strap and the bra. An end of the third strap may be secured to a lower portion of the third strap, maintaining the loop.

It should be understood, of course, that the foregoing relates to exemplary embodiments of the invention and that modifications may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as set forth in the following claims.
