BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Carrying the fragile wine glasses called “Port sippers” with common wine glass trays is difficult and risky because of the unique shape of said sippers. A common flat tray will not protect the said sippers from tipping over or sliding over caused by their small tripod type base and high center of gravity, resulting in glass breakage and loss of wine content.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The mentioned wine glasses tipping and sliding problem can be resolved by containers attached to the tray that surround and secure the glasses in place while the user will still able to remove said glasses quickly and easily.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWING

In drawings that illustrate embodiment of the invention;

FIG. 1 is the top view of the embodiment.

FIG. 2 is the elevation of the embodiment.

FIG. 3 is the side view of the embodiment.

FIG. 4 is the perspective view.

FIG. 5 is a view of way of inserting the “Porto sipper” wine glass into the tray.

FIG. 6 is a view of the “Porto sipper” wine glass inserted.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The tray illustrated comprises of four securing containers 1 that are attached, for example, by welding, to a rectangular base plate 2. Two U-shaped brackets 3 are attached to said plate 2, for example, by welding, and covered by handles 4. The said handles 4, for example, could be secured by glue.

The four securing containers 1 could be, for example, made out of steel rod. The base plate 2 and the two U-shaped brackets 3 could be, for example, made out of steel or plastic. The two handles 4 could be, for example, made out of wood or plastic.

Note: In drawings that illustrate embodiment of the invention, item 5 is a representation of a Porto sipper wine glass.
