Description
BACKGROUND

1. Technical Field

The present invention relates to a packaging structure, particularly to a buckling type packaging structure used for buckling an article having at least one pair of diagonal corners.

2. Related Art

By the development of the industry, more and more products such as books, LCD television, tablet PC, or electrical book reader, etc. are manufactured. It has been a problem for preventing the collision of the products when in transportation.

One of the conventional methods for protecting the product is directly covering the product with buffering parts, and another method is placing the product in a packaging box, and then covering the packaging box with the buffering parts. In other words, the buffering parts are covered outside the product (including books, LCD television, tablet PC, notebook, electrical book reader, or the packaging box used for packaging the product) to have the buffering effect when the collision happens.

The common used buffering parts are usually four pieces parts covering the four corners of the product, or U-shaped two pieces parts covering two opposite sides of the product. Even though those arrangements have buffering effect, however, there is no connection among each piece of the four pieces buffering parts or between each piece of the two pieces buffering parts, which results in poor fixation effect, and is easy to detach from the product.

Moreover, the aforementioned buffering parts are made of chemical materials such as polystyrene and polyethylene, and large amount of harmful gas will be generated during the manufacturing process. The gas may remain on the buffering parts for a long time, which can cause bad effect for the health of the user. Also, those materials are hard to degrade, and discarding the buffering parts may cause the environmental pollution.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

The present invention provides a buckling type packaging structure, which is used to buckle an article to prevent the disassembling of the article when in transportation. Preferably, the present invention can also provide buffering function when collision happens. The aforementioned articles can be book, LCD television, tablet PC, electrical book reader, etc., or the packaging box used for packaging products. FIGS. 1 to 4 show the first embodiment of the present invention, and the FIGS. 5 and 6 show the second and third embodiments of the present invention, respectively.

Please refer to FIGS. 1 to 4. The packaging structure can buckle an article 900 which has a plurality of diagonal corners. The packaging structure according to the present invention includes a plurality of fasteners, as shown in figures of the present invention. Since the article 900 only has two pairs of diagonal corners, which are first diagonal corners 91 and second diagonal corners 92, the packaging structure according to the present invention only needs two fasteners, which are a first fastener and a second fastener.

The first fastener 1 includes a first arm 11 and two first buckles 12. Each of both ends of the first arm 11 is formed with one first buckle 12. Each first buckle 12 has a first concave trough 121. The second fastener 2 includes a second arm 21 and two second buckles 22. Each of both ends of the second arm 21 is formed with one second buckle 22. Each second buckle 22 has a second concave trough 221. Each first concave trough 121 of the first fastener 1 can be used to accommodate each diagonal corner 91 or each diagonal corner 92 of the article 900, and each second concave trough 221 of the second fastener 2 can also be used to accommodate each diagonal corner 91 or each diagonal corner 92 of the article 900, which means if the first concave troughs 121 accommodates the diagonal corners 91, respectively, the second concave troughs 221 will accommodate the diagonal corners 92, or vice versa. By this arrangement, the first fastener 1 can buckle between the two diagonal corners 91 or the two diagonal corners 92 of the article 900 by the two first buckles 12, and the diagonal corners 91 or the diagonal corners 92 can be accommodated in the first concave troughs 121 of the first fastener 1. The second fastener 2 can also buckle between the two diagonal corners 91 or the two diagonal corners 92 of the article 900 by the two second buckles 22, and the diagonal corners 91 or the diagonal corners 92 can be accommodated in the second concave troughs 221 of the second fastener 2. The shape of the first concave trough 121 is corresponding to that of the two diagonal corners 91 and the two diagonal corners 92 of the article 900. The shape of the second concave trough 221 is also corresponding to that of the two diagonal corners 91 or the two diagonal corners 92 of the article 900. By this arrangement, the first concave troughs 121 or second concave troughs 221 have better compact fitness with the diagonal corners 91 or 92, and the first buckles 12 or second buckles 22 can even firmly buckle to the diagonal corners 91 or 92.

The first fastener 1 and the second fastener 2 can buckle between the two diagonal corners 91 and the two diagonal corners 92 on the same side of the article 900, respectively (not shown in the figures). Preferably, as shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, the first fastener 1 buckles one side of the article 900 and the two first buckles 12 buckle between the two diagonal corners 91, and the second fastener 2 buckles another side of the article 900 and the two second buckles 22 buckle between the two diagonal corners 92, and thus the first fastener 1 and the second fastener 2 buckle the article 900 crosswise to each other across the article 900.

By the packaging structure according to the present invention, four corners of the article 900 can be firmly buckled. Moreover, due to the diagonal cross buckling method, the buckling is very solid, and the disassembling of the article 900 when in transportation is not easy.

Please refer to FIGS. 1 to 4, the aforementioned first embodiment according to the present invention can also use single fastener (such as first fastener 1 or second fastener 2) on the article 900 which has at least one pair of diagonal corners 91 or 92. Even the diagonal cross buckling can not be achieved by this arrangement, buckling a single pair of diagonal corners with only single fastener is tight enough for books (stacks of books), LCD television, tablet PC, notebook, or electrical book reader, etc., or used for packaging the packaging box of the goods, thereby preventing the goods to disassemble in transportation, and further having the buffering effect when in collision.

Please refer to FIG. 5, which is a second embodiment of the packaging structure according to the present invention. The packaging structure of the second embodiment is formed as one piece cross shape for applying to the article with two pairs of diagonal corners (article 900 with the two diagonal corners 91 and the two diagonal corners 92). The second embodiment according to the present invention integrates the arm of one fastener (such as the fastener 1 or the fastener 2) with that of the other fastener. The detail description is as follows.

In the second embodiment, the packaging structure includes a fastener 3 (the fastener as shown in FIG. 5 is the first fastener in the first embodiment). The fastener 3 includes a first arm 31 and a second arm 32 which are integrated into a cross shape structure, two first buckles 311 respectively formed at one of the two ends of the first arm 31, and two second buckles 321 respectively formed at one of the two ends of the second arm 32. The two first buckles 311 of the first arm 31 have a first concave trough 312, respectively, and the two second buckles 321 of the second arm 32 also have a second concave trough 322, respectively. The shape of the first concave troughs 312 of the first arm 31 is corresponding to that of the two diagonal corners 91 and the two diagonal corners 92 of the article 900. The first concave troughs 312 can accommodate the diagonal corners 91 or 92. The shape of the second concave troughs 322 of the second arm 32 is corresponding to that of the two diagonal corners 91 and the two diagonal corners 92 of the article 900. The second concave troughs 322 can accommodate the diagonal corners 91 or 92. By this arrangement, the first arm 31 can buckle between the diagonal corners 91 or the diagonal corners 92 of the article 900 by the two first buckles 311, and the diagonal corners 91 or the diagonal corners 92 can be accommodated in the first concave troughs 312 of the first arm 31. The second arm 32 can buckle between the diagonal corners 92 or the diagonal corners 91 of the article 900 by the two second buckles 321, and the diagonal corners 92 or the diagonal corners 91 can be accommodated in the second concave troughs 322 of the second arm 32. Besides, the first arm 31 and the second arm 32 of the fastener 3 are buckled to the same side of the article 900 simultaneously.

Please refer to FIG. 6, which is the third embodiment of the packaging structure according to the present invention. The third embodiment is the variation of the second embodiment, and the difference lies in that the linear second arm 32 of the second embodiment is changed to a non-linear second arm 33. The non-linear second arm 33 is constructed by a first branching arm 331 and a second branching arm 332. One end of the first branching arm 331 and one end of the second branching arm 332 are staggerly integrated and connected to two opposite sides of the first arm 31. The other end of the first branching arm 331 and the second branching arm 332 are formed with a buckle 3311 and a buckle 3321, respectively. The buckles 3311 and 3321 are provided with concave troughs 3312 and 3322, respectively. According to this arrangement, the first arm 31 buckles between the diagonal corners 91 or the diagonal corners 92 of the article 900 by the two first buckles 311. The second arm 33 buckles between the diagonal corners 92 or the diagonal corners 91 of the article 900 by the buckles 3311 and 3321 of the first branching arm 331 and the second branching arm 332, respectively. Meanwhile, the first arm 31 and the second arm 33 of the fastener 3 are also attached to the same side of the article 900 simultaneously.

In the aforementioned first embodiment of the packaging structure according to the present invention, the first fastener 1 and the second fastener 2 are made of expandable polyethylene (EPE), which has the advantages such as waterproofing, shock resistance, good plasticity, good flexibility, recycling, eco-friendly, striking resistance, etc. In the second and third embodiment of the packaging structure according to the present invention, the fastener 3 also made of EPE, so the advantages are the same as the above.

In summary, the present invention has the following functions compared to the conventional technique: the fasteners 1, 2, or 3 can buckle between a single pair of diagonal corners or more than one pair of diagonal corners of the article 900 in a way of diagonal buckling or diagonal cross buckling, which makes fastener flexibly connects between the single pair of diagonal corners or among each diagonal corners of the article 900, and thus the fastener can be firmly fixed to the article 900 without detachment. Moreover, each fastener is made of eco-friendly EPE material, which will not generate harmful gas during the manufacturing process, and those fasteners will also not cause negative effect to the health of the user, and does not pollute the environment as well. Besides, the second embodiment and the third embodiment both have all the same functions as the first embodiment of the present invention.

Although the present invention has been described with reference to the foregoing preferred embodiments, it will be understood that the invention is not limited to the details thereof. Various equivalent variations and modifications can still occur to those skilled in this art in view of the teachings of the present invention. Thus, all such variations and equivalent modifications are also embraced within the scope of the invention as defined in the appended claims.
