ABDOMINAL EXERCISER WITH OSCILLATORY MASSAGE DEVICE

An abdominal exerciser with an oscillatory massage device includes a main frame for a user to hold thereon and a threaded shaft disposed in the main frame. The distal end of threaded shaft is pivotally connected with an abdominal pad seat which includes a soft pad at a distal end thereof. The abdominal pad seat has a hollow inner section to receive the distal end of the threaded shaft. An eccentric oscillatory block is pivotally connected to the hollow inner section of the abdominal pad seat. When the threaded shaft is extended out and retracted into the main frame back and forth and makes fixed-axis rotation, the oscillatory block will be turned synchronously and continuously to bring eccentric swing of the threaded shaft so that the threaded shaft links the soft pad to lean against the abdomen of the user for abdomen exercise and massage.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to an abdominal exerciser with an oscillatory massage device, and more particularly to an abdominal exerciser which comprises a main frame and a threaded shaft disposed in the main frame. The distal end of the threaded shaft is pivotally connected with an abdominal pad seat. An eccentric oscillatory block is connected to a hollow inner section of the abdominal pad seat. When the threaded shaft is extended out and retracted into the main frame back and forth and makes fixed-axis rotation, the oscillatory block will be turned synchronously and continuously to bring eccentric swing of the threaded shaft so that the threaded shaft links the abdominal pad seat to oscillate for abdomen exercise and massage. The operation is smooth, without any resistance. The abdominal exerciser has a simple configuration.

2. Description of the Prior Art

The difference between an abdominal exerciser and an abdominal massage/shaking device is that when the user holds the abdominal exerciser for exercise, a shaft will be reciprocated to extend out and retract into a main body. The distal end of the shaft is provided with an abdominal pad to lean against the abdomen of the user. The abdominal pad is driven to turn by the fixed-axis turning of the shaft so that the abdominal pad can be used to massage the abdomen of the user when exercising.

A conventional abdominal exerciser with a massage structure, as shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 1-A, comprises a main body 2 and a shaft 21 disposed in in the main body 2. The distal end of the shaft 21 is connected with a top disc 3 having protrusions 31 to lean against the abdomen of the user. The top disc 3 is pivotally connected with an abdominal pad 4. The top of the abdominal pad 4 has grooves 41. When in use, the shaft 21 drives the top disc 3 to turn, and the abdominal pad 4 is unable to turn because it is against the abdomen of the user. The protrusions 31 of the top disc 3 are forced to pass the grooves 41 of the abdominal pad 4 to provide a bouncing effect for shaking of the abdominal pad 4.

In fact, the protrusions 31 direct fall into the grooves 41. This will generate friction and resistance which may cause the shaft 21 to be jammed when using the abdominal exerciser. When the shaft 21 is jammed, the shaft 21 won't be rotated to retract into the main body 2.

FIG. 2 shows another conventional abdominal exerciser. An eccentric connecting block 5 is provided between the distal end of the shaft 21 and the abdominal pad 4. When the shaft 21 is turned to link the connecting block 5, the eccentric end of the connecting block 5 will be driven to turn the abdominal pad 4 to achieve a massage function. As shown in FIG. 3, TW Patent Application No. 100203457 discloses an eccentric axle block 211 extending out of the distal end of the shaft 21. The axle block 211 is pivotally connected to a central top surface of the abdominal pad 4. When the shaft 21 is turned, the abdominal pad 4 will be eccentrically turned to provide a massage function.

The difference between the structure as shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3 and the structure as shown in FIG. 1 is an eccentric turning to generate a side component force so as to lower the resistance. The abdominal pad 4 to lean against the abdomen of the user will generate a larger initial resistance, which will cause the top section of the shaft 21 to be jammed due to the abdominal pad 4 connected to the bottom section of the shaft 21 at the beginning of operating the abdominal exerciser.

The shaft 21 is unable to be turned and retracted into the main body 2. When in use, this abdominal exerciser cannot provide a better massage effect as expected.

Accordingly, the inventor of the present invention has devoted himself based on his many years of practical experiences to solve these problems.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary object of the present invention is to provide an abdominal exerciser with an oscillatory massage device. The abdominal exerciser comprises a main frame for a user to hold thereon and a threaded shaft disposed in the main frame. The distal end of threaded shaft is pivotally connected with an abdominal pad seat. The operation is smooth, easy and labor-saving, without any resistance.

Another object of the present invention is to provide an abdominal exerciser with an oscillatory massage device, which provides an oscillatory massage effect by the eccentric oscillatory block connected to the distal end of the threaded shaft. The structure is simple to lower the manufacture cost and decrease its breakdown.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Embodiments of the present invention will now be described, by way of example only, with reference to the accompanying drawings.

As shown in FIG. 4, FIG. 5 and FIG. 3A-C, the abdominal exerciser with an oscillatory massage device of the present invention comprises a main frame 6 for a user to hold thereon and a threaded shaft 7 disposed in the main frame 6 to cooperate with an elastic member 61 and a guide sleeve 62. When the user P holds the main frame 6 for abdomen exercise as shown in FIG. 6, the threaded shaft 7 will be extended out and retracted into the rear section of the main frame 6 back and forth and make fixed-axis rotation. The distal end of threaded shaft 7 is pivotally connected with an abdominal pad seat 8. The abdominal pad seat 8 comprises a soft pad 81 at a distal end thereof.

The abdominal pad seat 8 has a hollow inner section to receive the distal end of the threaded shaft 7. An eccentric oscillatory block 9 is provided in the abdominal pad seat 8 and fixedly connected to the hollow inner section of the abdominal pad seat 8.

When the threaded shaft 7 is extended out and retracted into the main frame 6 back and forth and makes fixed-axis rotation, the oscillatory block 9 connected to the distal end of the threaded shaft 7 will be turned synchronously and continuously to bring eccentric swing of the threaded shaft 7, as shown in FIG. 5-D.

The eccentric swing of the threaded shaft 7 will link the soft pad 81 of the abdominal pad seat 8 to lean against the abdomen of the user P to synchronously turn and swing for abdomen exercise and massage. The operation is very simple and easy.

To sum up, when the abdominal exerciser of the present invention is used, the abdominal pad seat will shake by itself to provide a massage effect.

Although particular embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention.

Accordingly, the present invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.
