Described herein is a receiver extension casing method of use. The following description is presented to enable any person skilled in the art to make and use the invention as claimed and is provided in the context of the particular examples discussed below, variations of which will be readily apparent to those skilled in the art. In the interest of clarity, not all features of an actual implementation are described in this specification. It will be appreciated that in the development of any such actual implementation (as in any development project), design decisions must be made to achieve the designers' specific goals (e.g., compliance with system- and business-related constraints), and that these goals will vary from one implementation to another. It will also be appreciated that such development effort might be complex and time-consuming, but would nevertheless be a routine undertaking for those of ordinary skill in the field of the appropriate art having the benefit of this disclosure. Accordingly, the claims appended hereto are not intended to be limited by the disclosed embodiments, but are to be accorded their widest scope consistent with the principles and features disclosed herein.

In one embodiment, adjusting said adjustable stock 200 can comprise extending and/or collapsing said buttstock 204 relative to said buffer tube 202. In one embodiment, extending said adjustable stock 200 can comprise: releasing said lock pin 209, moving said buttstock 204 more to the rear of said gun 100, exposing a larger portion of said buffer tube 202 and engaging said lock pin 209. In one embodiment, collapsing said adjustable stock 200 can comprise: releasing said lock pin 209, moving said buttstock 204 toward the front of said gun 100, exposing a smaller portion of said buffer tube 202, and engaging said lock pin 209. In one embodiment, said lock pin 209 can hold said buttstock 204 in a position relative to said buffer tube 202, as is known in the art. Accordingly, said buttstock 204 can be in a collapsed configuration (where said buttstock 204 covers said buffer tube 202) and/or an extended configuration (where a portion of said buffer tube 202 is not covered by said buttstock 204 and/or said body portion 201 of said gun 100.
In one embodiment, said adjustable stock 200 can be used to strike objects for reasons comprising of breaching a door, striking an enemy, or unjamming said gun 100. In some cases, especially when said adjustable stock 200 is in said extended configuration and said buffer tube 202 is exposed, and said buffer tube 202 can bend when said adjustable stock 200 is used to strike an object and can render said gun 100 inoperable as a firearm.
