Currency Bundling Aid

An aid for paper currency that is used in bundling pre-strapped currency comprising a rectangular base with two perpendicular parallel ends, wherein a receiving space is formed between the base and perpendicular ends to insert strapped currency enabled for bundling using rubber bands. With the aid, the receiving space formed is able to hold strapped currency in the center of the bills due to its resilient formation. A bundle of currency is formed, so that the straps of currency can be brought together, then the aid can be slipped away from the bundle-of currency formed and used again.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

This invention provides an aid, more particularly of the type commonly called a currency bundling aid.

2. Description of Related Art including Information Disclosed wider 37 CFR 1.97 and 1.98

A bundle of currency consists of 1,000 notes of the same denomination in ten equal straps of 100 notes each. The bundle must not contain mixed denominations. Straps must be bound together, for example, with two tight-fitting rubber bands, such that the straps are securely held together but not so tight as to cause damage to the notes.

The Federal Reserve Banks require Member Banks to bundle their shipments of currency when shipping ten straps of currency in a certain denomination. This is awkward procedure to do with one person as the bundle created is large and securing a rubber band to both ends of die bundle is difficult as currency should be straight, and all comers and edges should be aligned. This aid would hold a bundle of currency in preparation for securing the straps of currency together.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

This Invention will help solve the problem in keeping the bundle together temporarily while the rubber bands are added to keep the bundle securely together. The aid would then slip away from the bundle after the rubber bauds are affixed.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 illustrates a three-dimensional view in the invention;

FIG. 2 illustrates a perspective view of the currency bundling aid used in the bundling of pre-strapped currency with rubber bands.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The detailed description set forth, below is intended as a description of the aid and is not intended to represent the only forms in which the invention may be prepared or utilized. It is to be understood, rather, that the same or equivalent functions may be accomplished by different embodiments that are also intended to be encompassed within the spirit and scope of the invention.

Unless defined otherwise, all technical and scientific terms used herein have the same meaning as commonly understood to one of ordinary skill in the art to which this invention belongs. Although any methods, devices and materials similar or equivalent to those described can be used in the practice or testing of the invention, the exemplary methods, devices and materials are now described.

In order to further understand the goal, characteristics and effect of the invention, a number of embodiments along with the drawings are illustrated as follows:

Referring to FIG. 2, the invention provides a rectangular base with two perpendicular parallel base ends, wherein a receiving space is form between the base and perpendicular ends to insert illustrated ten currency straps (10) enabled for bundling with illustrated robber bands (20) fixed across the width of bundled currency, between width edges of base and length ends of bundled currency.

Having described the invention by the description and illustrations above, it should be understood that these are exemplary of the invention and are not to be considered as limited by the foregoing description, but includes any equivalents.

STATEMENT: This substitute specification contains no new matter.
