Field of Invention

This new design, dig-git Beach Umbrella Anchor is an improved method of securing a basic beach umbrella 28 in conjunction with the attached dig-git Beach Umbrella Anchor, FIG. 3 into the earth by removing beach sand 32 with the invention in the locked shovel position FIG. 2, by digging a 12 inch circular hole approximately 12 inch depth FIG. 4 by removing beach sand 32 and set aside.

Reposition the dig-git Beach Umbrella Anchor shovel position FIG. 2 into the anchor position FIG. 3 by rotating base pole 21 counter clockwise 30 to loosen from bracket 24 secured by 26 screw. Reposition 23 to anchor position FIG. 3 by rotating base pole 21 clockwise 29 to tighten. The dig-git Beach Umbrella Anchor FIG. 3 is inserted into the hole and then covered with beach sand 32 up to sand line 31 which will secure the dig-git Beach Umbrella Anchor FIG. 3 in a vertical position. Insert the Beach Umbrella pole 28 and secure with thumb screw 22.

The upward contour shape of the base 23 attached to the dig-git Beach Umbrella Anchor FIG. 3 in conjunction with the weight of the sand 32, FIG. 4 acts as an anchor. When the wind velocity increases, the dig-git Beach Umbrella Anchor FIG. 3 remains firmly in place.

To remove the dig-git Beach Umbrella Anchor FIG. 3 from the beach sand 32, disengage by rotating base pole 21 counter clockwise 30 two full turns to loosen from bracket 24. Grasp base pole 21 with both hands and gently pull upright which will allow the sand 32 to re-distribute its weight, thus allowing the dig-git Beach Umbrella Anchor FIG. 3 to be dislodged.

Description of Drawings

FIG. 1 Is a perspective assembly view of the dig-git Beach Umbrella Anchor showing all parts for this invention.

FIG. 2 Is an enlarged view of the dig-git beach umbrella Anchor in the locked shovel position by means of rotating base pole 21 attached to turnbuckle 25 counterclockwise 30 to loosen from bracket 24 then clockwise 29 to tighten and secure.

FIG. 3 Is an enlarged view of the dig-git beach umbrella Anchor in the locked anchor position by means of rotating base pole 21 attached to turnbuckle 25 counterclockwise 30 to loosen from bracket 24 then reposition in the anchor position by rotating base pole 21 clockwise 29 to tighten and secure.

FIG. 4 Is a perspective view of the dig-git Beach Umbrella Anchor FIG. 3 firmly secured in the beach sand 32 in the anchor position.
