COIL ASSEMBLY
A coil assembly includes at least one coil unit, having a plurality of odd coils and even coils configured in a horizontal manner, and each of the odd coils stacks over each of the even coils in stagger; a plurality of odd distributing pipes, respectively communicates with both ends of each of the odd coils; and a plurality of even distributing pipes respectively communicates with both ends of each of the even coils. The orientation of the coil assembly can be finished in site by combining the coil units to the frame in stack, and communicating the first and second distributing pipes for the application to the condenser or ice storage device. The horizontal arrangement allows the working fluid in the coils evenly distributed in a manner that the working fluid flow reverse return in favor of ease of handling, easy assembling and effectively refrigerating.
1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a coil assembly the orientation of which can be finished in site by combining the coil units to the frame in stack, and communicating the first and second distributing pipes with each of the odd and even distributing pipes for the application to the condenser or ice storage device. The horizontal arrangement of the odd and even coils allows the working fluid in the coils evenly distributed in a manner that the working fluid flow reverse return which enter first will leave last in favor of ease of handling, easy assembling and effectively refrigerating.
2. Description of Related Art
A conventional coil device used for condenser or ice storage device consists of a frame, a plurality of coils vertically arranged in the frame and connecting pipes to the coils.
Although the conventional coil device can be used as a condenser or ice storage device, it should be assembled in advance and then transported to the site where is to be mounted. It easily leads to inconvenience of handling and increase in difficulty of on-site assembly. The vertical arrangement of coils allows a working fluid to flow up and down, resulting in uneven distribution of the working fluid inside the coils and thus causing inferior refrigerating effect
For this reason, the inventors has studied and proceeded in-depth discussion, and actively seek approaches for many years engaged in the research and experiences of related industries and manufacturing. After long-term research and efforts in development, the inventors has finally the successfully developed this invention “a coil assembly” which overcomes the shortages in the prior art.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONA main purpose of this invention is to provide a coil assembly the orientation of which can be finished in site by combining the coil units to the frame in stack, and communicating the first and second distributing pipes with each of the odd and even distributing pipes for the application to the condenser or ice storage device. The horizontal arrangement of the odd and even coils allows the working fluid in the coils evenly distributed in a manner that the working fluid flow reverse return which enter first will leave last in favor of ease of handling, easy assembling and effectively refrigerating.
In order to achieve the above and other objectives, the coil assembly of the invention includes at least one coil unit, having a plurality of odd coils and even coils configured in a horizontal manner, and each of the odd coils stacks over each of the even coils in stagger; a plurality of odd distributing pipes, wherein each of the odd distributing pipes respectively communicates with both ends of each of the odd coils; and a plurality of even distributing pipes, wherein each of the even distributing pipes respectively communicates with both ends of each of the even coils.
In one embodiment, all of the odd coils and the even coils are made of stainless steel or galvanized steel.
In one embodiment, all of the odd coils and the even coils can be subject to surface treatment by brushing or embossing.
In one embodiment, the coil units combine with a frame in stack.
In one embodiment, the frame includes a plurality of straight rods, a plurality of crossbars, a plurality of triangle connecting studs connecting the straight rods to the crossbars, a tetragonal connecting studs connecting the straight rods to the crossbars, a pentagonal connecting studs connecting the straight rods to the crossbars, and a plurality of spacers each of which locates between one odd coil and one neighboring even coil.
In one embodiment, each side of the frame combines with a closing plate; a top of the frame combines with a top lid; and a bottom of the frame combines with a bottom plate.
In one embodiment, the top lid has a plurality of through holes.
In one embodiment, each of the coil units and the frame can be further mounted in an ice storage tank which connects to a circulating pump, and the circulating pump connects to a sprinkler corresponding to each of the coil units.
In one embodiment, the odd coil inlet and the even coil inlet couple to the first distributing pipe, the odd coil outlet and the even coil outlet couple to the second distributing pipe.
In one embodiment, the first distributing pipe and the second distributing pipe are of U-shaped tubular body.
The aforementioned illustrations and following detailed descriptions are exemplary for the purpose of further explaining the scope of the present invention. Other objectives and advantages related to the present invention will be illustrated in the subsequent descriptions and appended tables.
The coil unit 1 includes a plurality of odd coils 11 and even coils 12 configured in a horizontal manner. Each of the odd coils 11 stacks over each of the even coils 12 in stagger. All of the odd coils 11 and the even coils 12 are made of stainless steel or galvanized steel, and can be subject to surface treatment by brushing or embossing.
Each of the odd distributing pipes 2 respectively communicates with both ends of each of the odd coils 11.
Each of the even distributing pipes 3 respectively communicates with both ends of each of the even coils 12. Thereby the above-mentioned configuration constitutes a new coil assembly.
When in use, a working fluid (typically brine) flows through the odd coils 11 and the even coils 12 configured in horizontal manner. The orientation of the odd distributing pipes 2, the even distributing pipes 3, the first distributing pipe 5 and the second distributing pipe 6 allows the working fluid to pass forward in one path so as to reach the equal distribution effect. Furthermore, the top lid 47 having the plurality of through holes 471 can prevent any broken ices float away from coil units, of broken ices formed after melting, achieving effective refrigerating effect.
In summary, the coil assembly of the present invention can effectively improve the drawbacks in the prior art. In the invention, the orientation of the coil assembly can be finished in site by combining the coil units to the frame in stack, and communicating the first and second distributing pipes with each of the odd and even distributing pipes for the application to the condenser or ice storage device. The horizontal arrangement of the odd and even coils allows the working fluid in the coils evenly distributed in a manner that the working fluid flow in reverse return which enter first will leave last in favor of ease of handling, easy assembling and effectively refrigerating. This makes the invention more progressive and more practical in use which complies with the patent law.
