A reinforcing and shape-fixing strip structure for sheet material product comprising an end edge at each side of an end port respectively formed with plural through holes, wherein end edge at each side is respectively sleeved with an reinforcing and shape-fixing strip composed of an inner frame sheet and an outer frame sheet, wherein the top of the outer frame sheet is formed with a shield part laterally extended towards the inner side for crossing and shielding the end surface, one of the inner and the outer frame sheet comprise at least a protrusion, wherein the inner and the outer frame sheet are enabled to be in contact through the protrusions passing the through holes, wherein the inner and the outer frame sheet are thermally pressed for the purpose of adhesion and a decoration sheet is provided at the combined location of the reinforcing and shape-fixing strip at each side.

Description
BACKGROUND

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a reinforcing and shape-fixing strip structure for a sheet material product, which is aimed to provide a reinforcing and shape-fixing design for the configuration of an opened end port of the sheet material product, wherein the opened end port allows objects to be entered from, an inner and an outer frame sheet are processed with a thermal pressing operation at the end edge at each side, and a decoration sheet is provided at the combined location of each end edge, thereby obtaining the assembly of the whole reinforcing and shape-fixing strip, so the configuration is able to be fixed and the structural strength is able to be reinforced, moreover the expenditure of fabricating multiple molds with various specifications and the production cost can be greatly saved.

2. Description of Related Art

A storage product, such as a storage box, file folder, pen holder or trash bin is fabricated through plastic injection molding or adopting a rigid material such as a metal sheet or grid net, thereby being able to maintain the structural configuration, the mentioned art can provide a better structural strength and effectively maintain its function, but the material cost is relatively higher; for the severe market competition which has almost led to an era with very little profit zone, manufacturers are all devoting themselves for competing and gaining more market shares.

In order to lower the material cost for this certain type of product, the manufacturers try to find or develop new materials, wherein some manufacturers attempt to use the light and thin sheet material which has a lower price to replace the conventional structure formed through plastic injection molding or punching or folding the metal sheet or grid net so as to make the whole structure thinner, and also make the whole weight lighter, thereby effectively reducing the cost for material, transportation and storage; however, fabricating the product by adopting the light and thin sheet material would cause the whole structure not having enough strength, and the structural configuration is therefore hard to be fixed.

In order to reinforce and fix the structural configuration of the sheet material product, one common way is to sleeve a rigid frame member on the end port of the sheet material product, wherein the end port allows objects to be entered from, with the feature of deformation prevention provided by the rigid frame member, the whole structural configuration can be fixed and the structure can be reinforced; however, this type of frame member is often made through injection molding, and there are many types of configurations and specifications of sheet material products, so different types of sheet material product requires a different mold, thereby greatly increasing the expenditure of mold fabricating and causing the production cost not being able to be lowered. The mentioned shortages and disadvantages shall be improved and solved.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

In view of the reinforcing and shape-fixing frame member sleeved on the opened end port of the sheet material product being integrally formed through molding would cause the expenditure of mold fabricating and the production cost being increased, the present invention provides a design of adopting an inner and an outer frame sheet to be individually combined at the end edge at each side for replacing the conventional design of the frame member being integrally formed through molding, so the expenditure of mold fabricating can be greatly reduced.

For solving the issues of requiring different molds for the shape-fixing frame member of a sheet material product and the accompanied expenditure, the present invention adopts a design of having an inner and an outer frame sheet covering and combine, wherein the inner and the outer frame sheet can be through a single-specification mold then cut to a proper length with respect to the side length of each end edge, after the inner and the outer frame sheet are assembled and combined on each end edge, a decoration sheet is provided at the combined location thereby finishing the assembly of the whole reinforcing and shape-fixing strip, so the shape-fixing and structure reinforcing for the sheet material product can be achieved and the expenditure of mold fabricating and the production cost can be reduced.

With the structural design provided by the present invention, the configuration of the sheet material product can be fixed and the structural strength can be reinforced, and with different colors provided to the inner and the outer frame sheet, the combination of colors can be varied so as to enhance the outlook, moreover the present invention does not adopts the means of integrally forming with a certain specification, thereby greatly reducing the expenditure of mold fabricating and the production cost so as to achieve a better economic benefit.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Referring from FIG. 1 to FIG. 4, wherein FIG. 1 is an exploded view showing the structure according to a first preferred embodiment of the present invention; FIG. 2 is a schematic view showing the structure according to the first preferred embodiment of the present invention; FIG. 3 is an exploded plane view showing the structure according to the first preferred embodiment of the present invention; and FIG. 4 is a partial view showing the structural relation according to the first preferred embodiment of the present invention. As shown in figures, the present invention provides a novel reinforcing and shape-fixing structure for a sheet material product (10) in which a light and thin sheet material (e.g. a paper sheet, PP sheet, plastic sheet, metal sheet or net sheet) is mainly adopted. The sheet material product (10) is at least formed with an opened end port (11) allowing objects to be entered from, the end port (11) can be formed in a sealed contour status or semi-sealed contour status so as to form an opened end edge (12), and a proper location of a lateral sheet of the sheet material product (10) close to the end edge (12) is formed with a preset amount of through holes (13) with respect to the contour of the end port (11), so the end edge (12) at each side can be respectively sleeved with an reinforcing and shape-fixing strip (20) composed of an inner frame sheet (21) and an outer frame sheet (22), the inner and the outer frame sheet (21), (22) are formed as an elongated frame strip made through plastic injection and cut to a desired length with respect to the side length of the end edge (12) where the assembly is taken place, wherein the top of the outer frame sheet (22) is formed with a shield part (221) laterally extended towards the inner side for crossing and shielding the end surface of the sheet material product (10), the outer side of the inner frame sheet (21) is formed with at least a protrusion (211) corresponding to the through holes (13), what shall be addressed is that the protrusion can also be formed at the inner side of the outer frame sheet, so when the inner and the outer frame sheet (21), (22) are respectively combined from the inner and the outer side of the sheet material product (10), the inner and the outer frame sheet (21), (22) are enabled to be in contact through the protrusions (211) passing the through holes (13), then the inner and the outer frame sheet (21), (22) are processed with a thermal pressing operation through high frequency or ultrasonic thereby thermally pressing and adhering the inner and the outer frame sheet (21), (22) so as to be formed as one piece, so after the reinforcing and shape-fixing strip (20) provided on the end edge (12) at each side of the end port (11) of the sheet material product (10) is assembled, a decoration sheet (30) made of metal and formed with a shape matched with the contour of the end port (12) or at the corner where the reinforcing and shape-fixing strip (20) being provided is respectively assembled, thereby finishing the whole reinforcing and shape-fixing structure for the opened end port (11) of the sheet material product (10), so the configuration of the sheet material product (10) can be fixed and reinforced, and with different colors provided to the inner and the outer frame sheet (21), (22), the combination of colors can be varied so as to enhance the quality and outlook, moreover the reinforcing and shape-fixing strip (20) at each side is not integrally formed in a closed status, thereby greatly reducing the expenditure of mold fabricating and the production cost so as to achieve a better economic benefit.

Referring to FIG. 5, which is a schematic view showing the structure according to a second preferred embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 5, the reinforcing and shape-fixing strip (20) composed of the inner and the outer frame sheet (21), (22) can not only be adopted at the end port (11) of the sheet material product (10) formed in a linear status, when the end port (11) of the sheet material product (10) formed in an arc or curved status is desired to be reinforced and shape-fixed, the inner and the outer frame sheet (21), (22) can also be designed in a curved status and cut to a proper specification, so plural pairs of the inner and the outer frame sheet (21), (22) can be combined, and the protrusions (211) can pass the through holes (13) through the thermal pressing operation for the purpose of adhesion, and the decoration sheet (30) can be provided thereby achieving the reinforcing and shape-fixing structure for the end port formed in the arc or curved status, and the objective of reducing the expenditure of mold fabricating can also be achieved.

Referring from FIG. 6 to FIG. 9, wherein FIG. 6 is an exploded view showing the structure according to a third preferred embodiment of the present invention; FIG. 7 is a schematic view showing the structure according to the third preferred embodiment of the present invention; FIG. 8 is a schematic view showing an application according to the third preferred embodiment of the present invention; and FIG. 9 is a schematic view illustrating the structural relation according to the third preferred embodiment of the present invention. As shown in figures, the opened end port (11) of the sheet material product (10) has its end edge (12) at each side being assembled with the inner and the outer frame sheet (21), (22) of which the reinforcing and shape-fixing strip (20) is composed, and the protrusions (211) formed on one of the inner and the outer frame sheet (21), (22) pass the through holes (13) for achieving contact and adhesion, thereby providing an excellent and stable assembly, when the sheet material product (10) is used with a storage cart (40), wing parts (222) outwardly extended from the top of the outer frame sheet (22) can be sleeved in guide racks (41) preformed on the storage cart (40), the wing part (222) can be further formed in a reverse-L shape for allowing the guide rack (41) to provide a better supporting and guiding effect to the wing part (222), so the sheet material product (10) is able to be smoothly pulled or pushed for facilitating the operation of accommodating or taking out objects.

The present invention provides the reinforcing and shape-fixing strip structure for reinforcing and shape-fixing the configuration of the sheet material product made of a light and thin sheet material, thereby being able to replace the convention fully-framed injection molding design, with the design of the inner and the outer frame sheet in which an elongated base sheet being firstly made via a mold then cut to a proper length with respect to the specification of the sheet material product, the reinforcing and shape-fixing strip can be in sequence assembled on the end edge at each side of the end port, and the decoration sheet provided at the combined location of each reinforcing and shape-fixing strip is assembled, thereby achieving the reinforcing and shape-fixing for the end port of the sheet material product, as such, a single-specification mold can be used for satisfying the reinforcing and shape-fixing operation required by the end port of the sheet material product with various specifications, thereby greatly reducing the expenditure of mold fabricating and the production cost, and with different colors provided to the inner and the outer frame sheet, the whole outlook can be varied by changing the combination of colors. Accordingly, the present invention is novel and practical in use comparing to prior art.

Based on what has been disclosed above, the reinforcing and shape-fixing strip structure for sheet material product provided by the present invention can achieve following advantages: with the structural design, the objective of reinforcing and shape-fixing for the end port of the sheet material product can be achieved and the expenditure of mold fabricating and the production cost can be greatly reduced, and the quality and outlook of the whole product can be enhanced; as such, the present invention can solve the shortages and disadvantages of prior art.

Claims

1. A reinforcing and shape-fixing strip structure for sheet material product comprising a light and thin sheet material and at least formed with an end port allowing objects to be entered from, the end port is formed in a sealed contour status or semi-sealed contour status so as to form an opened end edge;

wherein, a proper location of a lateral sheet of the sheet material product close to the end edge is formed with a preset amount of through holes with respect to the contour of the end port, so the end edge at each side is respectively sleeved with an reinforcing and shape-fixing strip composed of an inner frame sheet and an outer frame sheet, wherein the top of the outer frame sheet is formed with a shield part laterally extended towards the inner side for crossing and shielding the end surface of the sheet material product, the outer side of the inner frame sheet is formed with at least a protrusion corresponding to the through holes, so when the inner and the outer frame sheet are respectively combined from the inner and the outer side of the sheet material product, the inner and the outer frame sheet are enabled to be in contact through the protrusions passing the through holes, then the inner and the outer frame sheet are processed with a thermal pressing operation thereby thermally pressing and adhering the inner and the outer frame sheet so as to be formed as one piece, so the assembly of the reinforcing and shape-fixing strip being provided on the end edge at each side of the end port of the sheet material product is finished.

The reinforcing and shape-fixing strip structure for sheet material product according to claim 1, wherein the inner and the outer frame sheet are formed as an elongated frame strip made through plastic injection and cut to a desired length with respect to the side length of the end edge where the assembly is taken place.

3. The reinforcing and shape-fixing strip structure for sheet material product according to claim 1, wherein the protrusions formed at the outer side of the inner frame sheet are altered for being formed at the inner side of the outer frame sheet.

The reinforcing and shape-fixing strip structure for sheet material product according to claim 1, wherein a decoration sheet formed with a shape matched with the contour of the end port is provided at the combined location of the reinforcing and shape-fixing strip assembled on the end edge at each side of the end port of the sheet material product.

5. The reinforcing and shape-fixing strip structure for sheet material product according to claim 1, wherein the inner and the outer frame sheet are formed through injection molding in a linear status.

6. The reinforcing and shape-fixing strip structure for sheet material product according to claim 1, wherein the inner and the outer frame sheet are formed through injection molding in an arc or curved status.

7. The reinforcing and shape-fixing strip structure for sheet material product according to claim 1, wherein wing parts are outwardly extended from the top of the outer frame sheet.
