Customized Bow

A multifunctional bow and method for the construction thereof. The multifunctional bow includes a bow arrangement, a binding ribbon, and a fastening assembly. The bow arrangement is formed by a plurality of ribbons, at least one dove tail ribbon, and decorative netting. The fastening assembly is connected to the bow arrangement and provides a means for attaching the bow arrangement to a user. The binding strap further secures the fastening assembly and enhances the appearance of the bow arrangement. The fastening assembly includes a first elastic band for attaching the bow arrangement to the desired body part of the user and may further include an ankle wrap for attaching the bow arrangement to a foot of the user, a hair comb for attaching the bow arrangement in the user's hair, or a plurality of clips for attaching the bow arrangement to the user's clothing.

Description

The current application claims a priority to the U.S. Provisional Patent application Ser. No. 61/867,439 filed on Aug. 19, 2013.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates generally to decorative fashion accessories. More specifically, the present invention is a multifunctional and versatile bow that may be worn on clothing, on the body, and/or on footwear, as well as the method of creation thereof.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

While clothing and footwear are important aspects of a person's image, it is often desirable to complement one's outfit with personal adornments and accessories such as jewelry, ornamental bows, and the like. One of the most common types of fashion accessories is the ornamental bow. Bows are generally very versatile in that they can be utilized to complement one's personal image in a variety of ways. For example, girls frequently wear hair bows to complement their individual hair styles as well as to round out their outfits. Bow ties are often worn by men in lieu of other types of neckties and can be iconic to one's image. In addition to their use as secondary fashion accessories, bows are often integrated onto clothing such as dresses as well as onto footwear. The versatility of bows is further demonstrated by the sheer number of different bow types that can be made including, but not limited to, boutique bows (basic, twisted, stacked, etc.), pinwheel bows, flower loop bows, ruffle bows, korker bows, and spiked bows. These bows can be created from a wide variety of materials as well including, but not limited to, grosgrain, organza, satin, velvet, lace, and plastic.

The present invention seeks to enhance and improve upon existing ornamental bows that are utilized to adorn clothing, the body, and footwear. As such, the present invention provides a multifunctional and versatile bow and method of creation thereof. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the bow comprises a plurality of ribbons 11 that are tied, cut, and otherwise altered with external accessories in order to form the bow. The bow of the present invention is available in a number of configurations in order to increase the functionality and versatility of the bow. The configurations relate generally to the fasteners and other means of attaching the bow to an article of clothing, the body, or footwear. The bow may be attached to a blouse, shirt, or similar article of clothing by means of one or more jet clips utilized to secure the bow to the clothing. Additionally, the bow may be attached to the hair by means of a side comb that is integrated onto the bow. Finally, the bow may be worn with footwear. The feet are slid into footwear such as flip-flops while ensuring that the bow rests on top. The bow is slightly lifted and adjusted side to side. Alternatively, the bow may be secured to an elastic band that allows a user to wear the bow directly on the foot. The elastic band may be secured around the toes to allow the bow to be adjusted. The bow may be further customized with accessories such as pony beads that may be secured to the elastic band.

The object of the present invention is to provide a highly customizable and versatile bow that may be worn as a fashion accessory to complement an existing outfit. The present invention is not limited with respect to the manner in which the bow may be worn. For example, the bow may be worn on bare feet, with flip-flops, as a bow tie, and as a hair bow. Furthermore, the present invention is not limited with respect to the specific design of the bow or with respect to the specific material of the bow. As such, the present invention may incorporate any combination of the previously listed designs and materials, as well as any designs and materials that are not mentioned.

DETAIL DESCRIPTIONS OF THE INVENTION

All illustrations of the drawings are for the purpose of describing selected versions of the present invention and are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention.

The present invention provides a multifunctional bow and a method of construction thereof. The multifunctional bow is versatile in that the multifunctional bow can be attached to a user in a number of different ways. Additionally, the multifunctional bow can be adapted in a number of different designs in order to provide individually styled appearances. The present invention comprises a bow arrangement 10, a fastening assembly 30, and a binding ribbon 20. The fastening assembly 30 is connected to the bow arrangement 10 and secured in place by the binding ribbon 20. The bow arrangement 10 provides the stylized portion of the present invention, while the fastening assembly 30 is adaptable for securing the present invention to the user in a number of different ways.

In reference to FIG. 1, the bow arrangement 10 comprises a plurality of ribbons 11, at least one dove tail ribbon 12, and a decorative netting 13. Various lengths of material are used to construct the plurality of ribbons 11. The type of material used for the plurality of ribbons 11 may include, but is not limited to, grosgrain, satin, sheer, or silk. Each of the plurality of ribbons 11 comprises an inner surface and an outer surface positioned opposite each other. Each of the plurality of ribbons 11 is formed into a plurality of loops 111, wherein the inner surface of each of the plurality of ribbons 11 is bound together about a cinch point 15. The plurality of ribbons 11 is stackably connected to each other about the cinch point 15 of each of the plurality of ribbons 11. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the plurality of ribbons 11 is connected to each other using an adhesive, such as hot glue or fabric glue. A length of thread is then wrapped the plurality of ribbons 11 in order to further secure the connection.

In reference to FIG. 12, similar to the plurality of ribbons 11, the at least one dove tail ribbon 12 also comprises a cinch point 15, however, the at least one dove tail ribbon 12 is not made to form loops like the plurality of ribbons 11. Additionally, the material used for the at least one dove tail ribbon 12 may include, but is not limited to, grosgrain, satin, sheer, or silk. The at least one dove tail ribbon 12 is adjacently connected to the plurality of ribbons 11 about the cinch point 15 of the at least one dove tail ribbon 12 and each of the plurality of ribbons 11, as depicted in FIG. 1. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the at least one dove tail ribbon 12 is connected to the plurality of ribbons 11 using an adhesive, such as hot glue or fabric glue.

Similar to the plurality of ribbons 11 and the at least one dove tail ribbon 12, the decorative netting 13 also comprises a cinch point 15, as shown in FIG. 12. Preferably, the decorative netting 13 is a Tulle netting, however, it is possible for any other type of netting to be used. The decorative netting 13 is adjacently connected to the at least one dove tail ribbon 12 opposite the plurality of ribbon about the cinch point 15 of both the decorative netting 13 and the at least one dove tail ribbon 12. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the decorative netting 13 is connected to the at least one dove tail ribbon 12 using an adhesive, such as hot glue or fabric glue. A length of thread is then wrapped around the decorative netting 13, the at least one dove tail ribbon 12, and the plurality of ribbons 11 in order to further secure the connection.

It is also possible for the decorative netting 13 to be used without the at least one dove tail ribbon 12. In such an instance, the decorative netting 13 is adjacently connected to the plurality of ribbons 11 about the cinch point 15 of both the decorative netting 13 and each of the plurality of ribbons 11. Preferably an adhesive is used to connect the decorative netting 13 to the plurality of ribbons 11, and a length of thread is then wrapped around the decorative netting 13 and the plurality of ribbons 11 in order to further secure the connection. It is also possible for the at least one decorative ribbon to be used without the decorative netting 13, or for neither the at least one dove tail ribbon 12 or the decorative netting 13 to be used.

In reference to FIG. 12, the fastening assembly 30 comprises a first elastic band 31 and a second elastic band 32, wherein the second elastic band 32 is adjacently connected to the first elastic band 31. The first elastic band 31 and the second elastic band 32 are adjacently connected to the bow arrangement 10 and provide a means for attaching the bow arrangement 10 to a user. Both the first elastic band 31 and the second elastic band 32 are adjacently connected to the decorative netting 13 opposite the at least one dove tail ribbon 12, as shown in FIG. 3 and FIG. 9. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the first elastic band 31 and the second elastic band 32 are sewn to the bow arrangement 10, however, the first elastic band 31 and the second elastic band 32 may be connected in any other way. The first elastic band 31 allows the bow arrangement 10 to be attached to the desired body part of a user, such as the foot, as depicted in FIG. 2.

If the decorative netting 13 is not used, then the first elastic band 31 and the second elastic band 32 are adjacently connected to the at least one dove tail ribbon 12 opposite the plurality of ribbons 11, as shown in FIG. 7. If both the at least one dove tail ribbon 12 and the decorative netting 13 are not used, then the first elastic band 31 and the second elastic band 32 are adjacently connected to the plurality of ribbons 11, as shown in FIG. 10.

In reference to FIG. 12, the first elastic band 31 may comprise a first slide knot 311 and a second slide knot 312. The first slide knot 311 and the second slide knot 312 are positioned on the first elastic band 31 opposite the second elastic band 32. The first slide knot 311 and the second slide knot 312 are slidably positioned about the first elastic band 31 such that the diameter of the first elastic band 31 can be adjusted. In this way, the first elastic band 31 is more adaptable to various parts of the human body. The first elastic band 31 can also be used without the first slide knot 311 and the second slide knot 312, wherein the ends of the first elastic band 31 are heat sealed, overlapped, and sewn together forming a single elastic loop; the single elastic loop functioning as an adjustable band.

In reference to FIG. 1 and FIG. 10, the binding ribbon 20 comprises a knot 21 and is used to further secure the plurality of ribbons 11, the at least one dove tail ribbon 12, the decorative netting 13, and the fastening assembly 30 together. As such, the binding ribbon 20 traverses around the bow arrangement 10 and traverses through the first elastic band 31 and the second elastic band 32. The knot 21 is positioned about the bow arrangement 10 opposite the fastening assembly 30, such that the knot 21 is positioned on the front of the bow arrangement 10, and provides an aesthetic appeal to the present invention.

The binding strap is adjacently connected to the plurality of ribbons 11 opposite the first elastic band 31 and the second elastic band 32. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the binding ribbon 20 connected to the plurality of ribbons 11 using an adhesive, however, the binding strap can be connected in any other way. The ends of the binding strap are then wrapped around the bow arrangement 10 and positioned through both the first elastic band 31 and the second elastic band 32. The ends of the binding ribbon 20 are then connected to each other and to the back of the bow arrangement 10 using an adhesive or other means of connection.

In reference to FIG. 3-5, the fastening assembly 30 may further comprise an ankle wrap 35 and a plurality of ornamental beads 36. The ankle wrap 35 comprises a loop 351, a first strap 352, and a second strap 353. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the ankle wrap 35 is constructed from a single piece of ribbon, however, the ankle wrap 35 can be constructed from any other type of flexible material. The single piece of ribbon is knotted in order to form the loop 351, the first strap 352, and the second strap 353. As such, the first strap 352 and the second strap 353 are positioned adjacent to each other about the loop 351. The plurality of ornamental beads 36 are positioned along the first strap 352 and the second strap 353 and act to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the ankle wrap 35.

In further reference to FIG. 4, the ankle wrap 35 allows the present invention to form a bottomless sandal when the present invention is worn of the foot of a user. The ankle wrap 35 is positioned in between the second elastic band 32 and the binding ribbon 20, wherein the loop 351 is positioned opposite the first strap 352 and the second strap 353 about the second elastic band 32. The loop 351 and the first elastic band 31 are positioned around the toes of the user, while the first strap 352 and the second strap 353 are wrapped around the ankle and/or lower leg of the user. The first strap 352 and the second strap 353 are tied together, or otherwise secured together, in order to fully secure the ankle wrap 35 to the user.

In reference to FIG. 8-9, in other embodiments of the present invention, the fastening assembly 30 may further comprise a hair comb 33. The hair comb 33 has a base and a plurality of prongs. The plurality of prongs are positioned through the first elastic band 31 and the second elastic band 32, such that the hair comb 33 is frictionally attached to the first elastic band 31 and the second elastic band 32. The hair comb 33 then be placed in the hair of the user is order to display the bow arrangement 10.

In reference to FIG. 6-7, in yet other embodiments of the present invention, the fastening assembly 30 may further comprise a plurality of clips 34. The plurality of clips 34 is positioned in between the second elastic band 32 and the binding ribbon 20. The plurality of clips 34 is attached to an article of clothing, such as a shirt collar, wherein the plurality of clips 34 supports the bow arrangement 10 through the second elastic band 32.

The present invention also provides a method for constructing the multifunctional bow. The steps for the method for constructing the multifunctional bow are described hereinafter.

In reference to FIG. 13, providing the plurality of ribbons 11, the binding ribbon 20, a first elastic strip, and a second elastic strip. All edges of each of the plurality of ribbons 11 and the binding ribbon 20, and the ends of both the first elastic strip and the second elastic strip are first heat sealed using a lighter, fray check, wood burner, or similar apparatus. The ends of the first elastic strip are then sewn and glued together to form the first elastic band 31, while the ends of the second elastic strip are sewn and glued together to form the second elastic band 32. A plurality of loops 111 is then formed into each of the plurality of ribbons 11.

In reference to FIG. 11 and FIG. 14, in order to form the plurality of loops 111, a center crease 14 is made across the width of each of the plurality of ribbons 11 by folding each of the plurality of ribbons 11 in half, wherein the outer surface is pressed together in between the inner surface. A first end 112 and a second end 113 of each of the plurality of ribbons 11 are then sewn together, providing a seam allowance, to form a ribbon junction 114. Each of the plurality of ribbons 11 is then flipped such that the outer surface faces outwards and the inner surface faces inwards. The center crease 14 and the ribbon junction 114 are then sewn together for each of the plurality of ribbons 11 and thread is wrapped around the stitch line, pinching the ribbon together to form the cinch point 15 and the plurality of loops 111.

In reference to FIG. 13, the plurality of ribbons 11 is then stackably connected in order to form the bow arrangement 10. The plurality of ribbons 11 is connected to each other using an adhesive, such as hot glue or fabric glue, that is applied about the cinch point 15 of each of the plurality of ribbons 11. Once the plurality of ribbons 11 is adhered to each other, thread is wrapped around the cinch point 15 of the plurality of ribbons 11 in order to further secure the plurality of ribbons 11 together.

If the at least one dove tail ribbon 12 is to be used, then the at least one dove tail ribbon 12 is also connected to the plurality of ribbons 11 in order to form the bow arrangement 10. The at least one dove tail ribbon 12 is created from a length of material that is folded lengthwise along the length of material. The ends of the length of material are then cut at an angle (preferably a forty five degree angle) in order to form dove tails and thus form the at least one dove tail ribbon 12. The cut ends of the at least one dove tail ribbon 12 are then heat sealed.

In reference to FIG. 15, in order to connect the at least one dove tail to the plurality of ribbons 11, a center crease 14 is made across the width of the at least one dove tail. A running stitch is then created along the center crease 14 and the thread is pulled and wrapped around the at least one dove tail ribbon 12 in order to form the cinch point 15. The at least one dove tail ribbon 12 is then adhered to the plurality of ribbons 11 about the cinch point 15, and thread is wrapped around both the at least one dove tail ribbon 12 and the plurality of ribbons 11 in order to further secure the connection.

In reference to FIG. 16, if the decorative netting 13 is to be used, then the decorative netting 13 is also connected to the plurality of ribbons 11 in order to form the bow arrangement 10. The decorative netting 13 is created from a piece of material, wherein opposing ends of the piece of material are folded in towards the center of the piece of material, and the piece of material is then folded in half twice. A running stitch is then created along the middle of the decorative netting 13 and the thread is pulled and wrapped around the decorative netting 13 in order to form the cinch point 15. The decorative netting 13 is then adhered to the plurality of ribbons 11 about the cinch point 15, and thread is wrapped around both the decorative netting 13 and the plurality of ribbons 11 in order to further secure the connection.

In reference to FIG. 17, both the at least one dove tail ribbon 12 and the decorative netting 13 may also be used to form the bow arrangement 10. In such a case, the at least one dove tail ribbon 12 is first connected to the plurality of ribbons 11 using an adhesive. The decorative netting 13 is then connected to the at least one dove tail ribbon 12 opposite the plurality of ribbons 11 using an adhesive. Thread is then wrapped around the plurality of ribbons 11, the at least one dove tail ribbon 12, and the decorative netting 13 in order to further secure the plurality of ribbons 11, the at least one dove tail ribbon 12, and the decorative netting 13 in the bow arrangement 10.

In reference to FIG. 13, next, the first elastic band 31 is connected to the second elastic band 32 in order to form the fastening assembly 30. More specifically, the first elastic band 31 and the second elastic band 32 are sewn together in order to form the fastening assembly 30. Once the fastening assembly 30 has been constructed, the fastening assembly 30 is then connected to the bow arrangement 10. More specifically, the fastening assembly 30 is stitched onto the bow arrangement 10.

In further reference to FIG. 13, once the fastening assembly 30 has been connected to the bow arrangement 10, the binding ribbon 20 is connected to the bow arrangement 10. More specifically, the binding ribbon 20 is connected to the front of the plurality of ribbons 11 using an adhesive. The binding ribbon 20 is then wrapped around the bow arrangement 10 and through the fastening assembly 30; more specifically, through the first elastic band 31 and the second elastic band 32. The binding ribbon 20 is then secured in place in order to form the multifunctional bow by adhering a first end 112 of the binding ribbon 20 to the back of the bow arrangement 10 and adhering a second end 113 of the binding ribbon 20 to the first end 112.

In reference to FIG. 18, if the binding ribbon 20 comprises the knot 21, then the knot 21 is aligned about the plurality of ribbons 11 opposite the fastening assembly 30, such that the knot 21 is displayed on the front of the bow arrangement 10. The knot 21 is formed by folding the binding ribbon 20 into a tri-fold and then tying the knot 21 into the binding ribbon 20. Once the knot 21 is formed, the edges of the binding ribbon 20 are heat sealed.

In reference to FIG. 19, if the ankle wrap 35 is desired, then a piece of cord or similar material is knotted in order to form the loop 351, the first strap 352, and the second strap 353. The plurality of ornamental beads 36 is then connected along the first strap 352 and the second strap 353. Once the plurality of ornamental beads 36 is connected to the first strap 352 and the second strap 353, the ankle wrap 35 is attached in between the second elastic band 32 and the binding ribbon 20.

In reference to FIG. 20, it is also possible for the first elastic band 31 to be constructed such that the first elastic band 31 has an adjustable diameter in the following manner. The first elastic strip comprises a first strip end and a second strip end. A first loop is formed in the first elastic strip adjacent to the first strip end. The first strip end is then wrapped around the second strip end and the portion of the first elastic strip adjacent to the first loop. The first strip end is wrapped around multiple times and then pulled through the first loop in order to form a first slide knot 311. The second strip end is then pulled through the first slide knot 311 and a second loop is formed in the first elastic strip. The second strip end is then wrapped around two parallel portions of the first elastic band 31 multiple times and pulled through the second loop to form the a second slide knot 312. In this way, the first elastic strip is formed into the first elastic band 31 having the first slide knot 311 and the second slide knot 312. Adhesive is applied to the first slide knot 311 and the second slide knot 312 as to prevent the first slide knot 311 and the second slide knot 312 from unraveling without fixating the first slide knot 311 and the second slide knot 312 along the first elastic band 31. Additionally, the first strip end and the second strip end are heat sealed to prevent fraying.

Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.

Claims

1. A multifunctional bow comprises:

a bow arrangement;
a binding ribbon;
a fastening assembly;
the bow arrangement comprises a plurality of ribbons;
the fastening assembly comprises a first elastic band and second elastic band;
the plurality of ribbons being formed into a plurality of loops;
the second elastic band being adjacently connected to the first elastic band;
first elastic band and the second elastic band being adjacently connected to the bow arrangement;
the binding ribbon being adjacently connected to the plurality of ribbons opposite the first elastic band and the second elastic band;
the binding ribbon traversing around the bow arrangement; and
the binding ribbon traversing through the first elastic band and the second elastic band.

2. The multifunctional bow as claimed in claim 1 comprises:

the first elastic band and the second elastic band being adjacently connected to the plurality of ribbons.

3. The multifunctional bow as claimed in claim 1 comprises:

the bow arrangement further comprises an at least one dove tail ribbon;
the at least one dove tail ribbon being adjacently connected to the plurality of ribbons; and
the first elastic band and the second elastic band being adjacently connected to the at least one dove tail ribbon opposite the plurality of ribbons.

4. The multifunctional bow as claimed in claim 1 comprises:

the bow arrangement further comprises a decorative netting;
the decorative netting being adjacently connected to the plurality of ribbons; and
the first elastic band and the second elastic band being adjacently connected to the decorative netting opposite the plurality of ribbons.

5. The multifunctional bow as claimed in claim 1 comprises:

the bow arrangement further comprises an at least one dove tail and a decorative netting;
the at least one dove tail ribbon being adjacently connected to the plurality of ribbons;
the decorative netting being adjacently connected to the at least one dove tail ribbon opposite the plurality of ribbons; and
the first elastic band and the second elastic band being adjacently connected to the decorative netting opposite the at least one dove tail ribbon.

6. The multifunctional bow as claimed in claim 1 comprises:

the binding ribbon comprises a knot; and
the knot being positioned about the bow arrangement opposite the fastening assembly.

7. The multifunctional bow as claimed in claim 1 comprises:

the fastening assembly further comprises a hair comb;
the hair comb being positioned through the first elastic band and the second elastic band; and
the hair comb being positioned in between the second elastic band and the binding ribbon.

8. The multifunctional bow as claimed in claim 1 comprises:

the fastening assembly further comprises a plurality of clips; and
the plurality of clips being positioned in between the second elastic band and the binding ribbon.

9. The multifunctional bow as claimed in claim 1 comprises:

the fastening assembly further comprises an ankle wrap;
the ankle wrap comprises a loop, a first strap, and a second strap;
the ankle wrap being positioned in between the second elastic band and the binding ribbon; and
the loop being positioned opposite the first strap and the second strap about the second elastic band.

10. The multifunctional bow as claimed in claim 1 comprises:

the fastening assembly further comprises an ankle wrap and a plurality of ornamental beads;
the ankle wrap comprises a loop, a first strap, and a second strap;
the first strap and the second strap being positioned adjacent to each other about the loop; and
the plurality of ornamental beads being positioned along the first strap and the second strap.

11. The multifunctional bow as claimed in claim 1 comprises:

the first elastic band comprises a first slide knot and a second slide knot;
the first slide knot and the second slide knot being positioned on the first elastic band opposite the second elastic band; and
the first slide knot and the second slide knot being slidably positioned about the first elastic band.

12. A method for constructing a multifunctional bow includes the steps of:

providing a plurality of ribbons, a binding ribbon, a first elastic band, and a second elastic band;
forming a plurality of loops into each of the plurality of ribbons;
stackably connecting the plurality of ribbons in order to form a bow arrangement;
connecting the first elastic band to the second elastic band in order to form a fastening assembly;
connecting the fastening assembly to the bow arrangement;
connecting the binding ribbon to the bow arrangement;
wrapping the binding ribbon around the bow arrangement and through the fastening assembly; and
securing the binding ribbon in place in order to form the multifunctional bow.

13. The method for constructing a multifunctional bow as claimed in claim 12 further includes the steps of:

forming a knot in the binding ribbon; and
aligning the knot about the plurality of ribbons opposite the fastening assembly.

14. The method for constructing a multifunctional bow as claimed in claim 12 further includes the steps of:

providing an at least one dove tail ribbon; and
connecting the at least one dove tail ribbon to the plurality of ribbons in order to form the bow arrangement.

15. The method for constructing a multifunctional bow as claimed in claim 12 further includes the steps of:

providing a decorative netting; and
connecting the decorative netting to the plurality of ribbons in order to form the bow arrangement.

16. The method for constructing a multifunctional bow as claimed in claim 12 further includes the steps of:

providing an at least one dove tail ribbon and a decorative netting;
connecting the decorative netting to the at least one dove tail ribbon; and
connecting the at least one dove tail ribbon to the plurality of ribbons in order to form the bow arrangement.

17. The method for constructing a multifunctional bow as claimed in claim 12 further includes the steps of:

providing a first elastic strip; and
forming a first slide knot and a second slide knot in the first elastic strip in order to form the first elastic band.

18. The method for constructing a multifunctional bow as claimed in claim 12 further includes the steps of:

providing a first end, a second end, and a center crease for each of the plurality of ribbons, wherein the center crease is positioned in between the first end and the second end;
sewing the first end to the second end to form a ribbon junction for each of the plurality of ribbons;
sewing the ribbon junction to the center crease in order to form a cinch point for each of the plurality of ribbons; and
connecting the plurality of ribbons about the cinch point of each of the plurality of ribbons.

19. The method for constructing a multifunctional bow as claimed in claim 12 further includes the steps of:

providing an ankle wrap and a plurality of ornamental beads, wherein the ankle wrap comprises a first strap and a second strap;
connecting the plurality of ornamental beads along the first strap and the second strap; and
attaching the ankle wrap in between the second elastic band and the binding ribbon.
