MARTIAL ART TRAINING TOOL THAT EMITS LIGHT WHEN HIT

The present invention relates to a martial art training tool that emits when hit. The martial art training tool includes a light emitting sensor module which is detachably mounted therein and emits light in response to a punch or kick applied to a training body manufactured for martial art training. Thus, when the martial art training tool is used, trainees or players can immediately check a punch or kick during training or game, which makes it possible to increase concentration. Furthermore, since the martial art training tool can be used for a long time by replacing the light emitting sensor module, the maintenance cost may be reduced.

TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention relates to a martial art training tool that emits light when hit, and more particularly, to a martial art training tool that emits when hit, which includes a light emitting sensor module which can be attached to or detached from a training body manufactured from martial art training, and emits light according to the strength and accuracy of a blow.

BACKGROUND ART

Stand-up martial art players wear a protector to protect their bodies, and use a training mitt, shield, or sandbag to increase training efficiency. Such protectors and training tools have been focused on protecting the bodies of trainees. Thus, the protectors and training tools provide only simple functions. That is, training tools including general protectors may be used only for punching and kicking practice, while protecting trainees. Thus, since a player or trainee cannot check the position or strength of a punch or kick during training, the player or trainee has difficulties in determining the accuracy or strength of the punch or kick.

Furthermore, existing training tools such as a training mitt, a training shield, and a training sandbag do not have a separate blow target formed thereon. Thus, players or trainees tend to unconsciously repeat punches or kicks. Furthermore, although the training tools are accurately hit, the training tools show no reaction. Thus, the players or trainees may not feel a sense of accomplishment through training.

Recently, as Taekwondo was adopted as a competitive sport in the summer Olympics, an electronic protector has been developed and used as a unit for scoring a point. In various martial arts, an electronic protector has been used as a unit for scoring a point. However, since the electronic protectors are generally expensive, most martial art trainees tend to use general protectors instead of the electronic protectors, during a sparing or punching and kicking practice.

Thus, there has been a demand for a protector which reliably functions as a protector while displaying whether a punch or kick is successfully performed. For this point of view, Korean Patent Laid-open Publication No. 1999-007422 has proposed an impact buffering and lighting display device of a protector for martial arts, which displays whether a punch or kick is successfully performed, through an external monitor, while protecting players from an impact caused by the punch or kick. The impact buffering and lighting display device may correctly determine a punch or kick, and thus prevent disobedience of judgment.

In the impact buffering and lighting display device, however, whether a punch or kick was successfully performed and a point obtained by the punch or kick can be checked through a separate monitor installed in a stadium, and the players as well as judges and spectators can check the point only through the monitor, which may make it difficult for the players, judges, and spectators to concentrate on the game.

In addition, the impact buffering and lighting display device includes a sensor mounted in the protector. Thus, when the sensor or an electronic device connected to the sensor breaks down due to an impact, the entire protector must be replaced in case where the sensor or electronic device is difficult to replace.

Thus, there is a demand for a martial art training tool that assists players, judges, and spectators to concentrate on a game, enables a player or trainee to recognize the position and strength of a punch or kick during a game or training, and includes a sensor or electronic device having the sensor, which can be easily replaced or repaired.

Furthermore, training mitts, shields, and sandbags which have been used only for punching and kicking practice may require a function of immediately checking the position and strength of a punch or kick, in order to improve training efficiency.

CONSTRUCTION OF THE INVENTION Problems to be Solved

It is an object of the present invention that it provides a martial art training tool that emits light when hit, which has a light emitting sensor module mounted therein such that the light emitting sensor module can be attached to or detached from the martial art training tool, and enables a trainee or player to directly check the accuracy of a punch or kick.

Also, it is an object of the present invention that it provides a martial art training tool that emits light when hit, which can be used for a long time by replacing a light emitting sensor module.

Solutions to the Problems

In an embodiment, a martial art training tool that emits light when hit may include: one or more light emitting sensor modules configured to emit light in response to an applied punch or kick; a training body having a housing space formed therein such that the light emitting sensor module is attached to or detached from the housing space, the housing space having a shape corresponding to the light emitting sensor module; and a protective cover formed to cover the training body.

The light emitting sensor module may be divided into a plurality of concentric circles, and one or more lamps may be arranged in each of the concentric circles so as to emit limit according to the position of a punch or kick applied to the concentric circle.

The light emitting sensor module may include a housing, a lamp, a sensor, a battery, and a controller. The controller may be configured to change any one of the intensity and color of light emitted from the lamp in response to the output of the sensor.

The martial art training tool may further include a first diffusion plate provided on an exposed surface of the housing in a light emission direction of the lamp, and configured to diffuse light emitted from the lamp.

The first diffusion plate may have a light scattering pattern formed on one surface thereof.

The lamp may include first and second lamps, and the first and second lamps may emit light in opposite directions to each other.

The martial art training tool may further include one or more lamp protectors provided on the inner circumferential surface of the housing and positioned between a contact surface of the housing, to which a punch or kick is applied, and a surface facing the contact surface.

The training body may include the body of any one of a body protector, a head protector, a training mitt, and a training belt.

The protective cover may have a through-hole formed in one region thereof, and a second diffusion plate formed of a transparent or translucent material may be provided in the through-hole.

The second diffusion plate may have a light scattering pattern formed on one surface thereof.

The protective cover may have a cut surface formed at one side thereof, and the cut surface and a surface facing the cut surface may be connected to each other through any one of a zipper, a Velcro tape, and a snap button.

The light emitting sensor module may be force-fitted to the housing space.

Effect of the Invention

According to the embodiment of the present invention, the martial art training tool that emits light when hit may include the light emitting sensor module mounted therein such that the light emitting sensor module is attached thereto or detached therefrom. Thus, trainees or players can directly check a punch or kick during training or game, which makes it possible to increase concentration. Furthermore, the martial art training tool can be used for a long time by replacing the light emitting sensor module.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Hereafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the accompanying drawings, like reference numerals represent like components. Moreover, detailed descriptions related to publicly known functions or configurations will be ruled out in order not to unnecessarily obscure subject matters of the present invention. For the same reason, some components may be exaggerated, omitted, or schematically illustrated.

In the embodiments of the present invention, a martial art training tool that emits light when hit includes a body protector, a head protector, a training mitt, a training sandbag, and a training belt, which can be used for a martial art training or game. However, the present invention is not limited thereto.

In the present embodiment, the body protector 1000 includes a training body 1100, a protective cover 1200, and a light emitting sensor module 1300.

The training body 1100 may protect a trainee or player from a punch or kick applied to the chest, the abdomen, or the left or right side of the trainee or player. The training body 1100 may be made of wood or synthetic resin including compressed Styrofoam, sponge (EAV), and air layer. In addition to the above-described materials, any materials can be used for forming the training body 1100 as long as they can absorb an impact caused by an external force.

The training body 1100 includes a housing space 1110 formed therein. When a wearer wears the body protector 1000, the housing space 1110 may be located at positions corresponding to the central abdomen and the left and right sides of the wearer. However, the positions and number of the housing spaces 1110 may be changed according to the type of martial art training.

The housing space 1110 may have a shape corresponding to the shape of the light emitting sensor module 1300. As illustrated in FIG. 3, the light emitting sensor module 1300 may be detachably attached to the housing space 1110 through a force-fitting method. When the light emitting sensor module 1300 is force-fitted to the housing space 1110, the light emitting sensor module 1300 is not separated from the housing space 1110 even through an impact is applied by a punch or kick. That is because the impact is absorbed by the training body 1100, but the punch or kick is applied toward the body of the wearer wearing the body protector 1000.

Although a specific coupling unit or adhesion unit is not used, the housing space 1110 and the light emitting sensor module 1300 are reliably coupled to each other. Such a feature is remarkably different from the related art (Korean Patent Laid-open Publication No. 1999-007422) which includes a sensor housed in a body. As such, while the martial art training tool according to the embodiment of the present invention has a simple structure, the light emitting sensor module 1300 and the housing space 1110 may be reliably coupled to each other. Thus, the light emitting sensor module 1300 does not come off during a game or training. When the light emitting sensor module 1300 breaks down, the light emitting sensor module 1300 may be easily replaced or repaired through a simple method of detaching the light emitting sensor module 1300 by pushing the light emitting sensor module 1300 to the outside of the wearer's body. At this time, the training body 1100 may be attached and detached through a cut portion of the protective cover 1200.

The protective cover 1200 may be formed of leather, artificial leather, plastic or the like. Furthermore, the protective cover 1200 may be formed of various materials, in addition to the above-described materials. The protective cover 1200 may have a through-hole 1250 formed in one region thereof, and a second diffusion plate 1210 may be arranged in the through-hole 1250.

The second diffusion plate 1210 may be formed of a material which can absorb an impact while protecting a wearer's body. Furthermore, the second diffusion plate 1210 may be formed of a transparent material. For example, the second diffusion plate 1210 may be formed of a flexible material, such as soft plastic or soft silicon, which can easily absorb an impact caused by an external force. In addition, the second diffusion plate 1210 may diffuse light to improve the visibility of light emitted from the light emitting sensor module 1300. For this operation, the second diffusion plate 1210 may have a light scattering pattern formed on one surface thereof.

As illustrated in FIG. 5, the light scattering pattern may be formed through any one of a mesh pattern, a lattice pattern, and a random pattern. Alternatively, in order to increase the light diffusion effect, the surface of the second diffusion plate 1210 may be scratched to form an engraved light diffusion pattern, or an embossed light diffusion pattern may be attached on the surface of the second diffusion plate 1210. Furthermore, the light scattering pattern may be formed in various manners, and is not limited to the above-described patterns.

Both one surface of the body protector 1000, facing the body of the wearer, and the other surface of the body protector 1000 may be used. In this case, the one surface of the body protector 1000 may be colored with blue, and the other surface may be colored with red.

The protective cover 1200 may have one or more cut surfaces 1220. The training body 1110 having the light emitting sensor module 1300 attached therein may be easily inserted through the cut surface 1220. In the present embodiment, the cut surface 1220 is formed at the bottom of the body protector 1000. However, the position of the cut surface 1220 is not limited as long as the training body 1100 can be easily inserted. The cut surface 1220 may be connected to a surface facing the cut face 1220 through a connection member 1230 such as a snap button, a zipper, or a Velcro tape, and the connection method is not limited thereto.

The housing space 1110 may be attached to or detached from the housing space 1300. Thus, since the body protector 1000 can be continuously used only by replacing the light emitting sensor module 1300, a maintenance cost may be reduced in comparison to existing electronic protectors.

The color of the light emitting sensor module 1300 may be differently set for the central abdomen and the left and right sides. In the present embodiment, the central abdomen and the left and right sides may be colored with red and blue, respectively, such that the position of a momentary punch or kick can be checked by players, judges, trainees, or spectators. However, the colors are not limited thereto.

In the present embodiment, the light emitting sensor module 1300 has a circular shape corresponding to the shape of the housing space 1110. However, the light emitting sensor module 1300 may be formed in a different shape, such as a rectangular shape or triangular shape, depending on the shape of the housing space 1110.

The light emitting sensor module 1300 may include a housing 1310, lamps 1320, a sensor 1330, a battery 1340, a lamp protector 1350, and a controller 1370. The light emitting sensor module 1300 may be driven by power provided from the battery 1340, and driven by the controller 1370 which changes any one of the light intensity and color of the lamp in response to an output of the sensor 1330. The sensor 1330 may include a shock luminous indicator, an on/off luminous indicator, and an inductive luminous indicator.

The light emitting sensor module 1300 may include a blow signal amplifier 1350, and output an effect sound through a speaker 1351 in order to increase a sense of accomplishment or indicate the accuracy of a punch or kick. Thus, since a trainee can check the accuracy of punch or kick through the sense of hearing as well as the sense of vision, the trainee may easily check whether the ability is improved.

As illustrated in FIG. 4B, the lamps 1320 may be provided at one surface of the housing 1310 such that the light irradiation directions thereof are set in the opposite directions. In the present embodiment, the lamps 1320 may include a first lamp 1320a and a second lamp 1320b, but the number of lamps is not limited thereto. In another embodiment, the lamps 1320 may be provided in such a manner that the light irradiation directions thereof face each other as illustrated in FIG. 4C. Thus, the attachment directions of the lamps 1320 are not limited thereto. When a punch or kick is accurately thrown at a target position, two or more lamps may be operated at the same time. On the other hand, when a punch or kick is inaccurately thrown at the target position, only one lamp may be operated. Thus, players in training or game may directly check the accuracy of the punch or kick.

The housing 1310 of the light emitting sensor module 1300 may include a first diffusion plate. The first diffusion plate may be formed in the light irradiation direction of the lamp.

The first diffusion plate 1210 may have a light scattering pattern formed on one surface thereof. As illustrated in FIG. 5, the light scattering pattern may be formed through any one of a mesh pattern, a lattice pattern, and a random pattern. Alternatively, in order to increase the light scattering effect, the surface of the first diffusion plate may be scratched to form an engraved light diffusion pattern, or an embossed light diffusion pattern may be attached on the surface of the first diffusion plate. Furthermore, the light scattering pattern may be formed in various manners, and is not limited to the above-described patterns.

In the present embodiment, the housing 1310 may be manufactured to have a diameter of about 10 cm, but the diameter is not limited thereto. The housing 1310 may be formed of elastic thermoplastic rubber (TPR) or soft plastic (PVC), which can absorb an impact caused by a direct punch or kick thrown at the housing 1310. The housing 1310 may be opened and closed. Thus, when the battery in the housing 1310 is discharged or the lamp in the housing 1310 breaks down, the housing 1310 may be disassembled to replace the battery or the lamp.

The housing 1310 may have a lamp protector 1350 formed in a direction perpendicular to the surface to which a punch or kick is applied. The lamp protector 1350 may prevent a lamp from being broken or damaged by an impact caused by a punch or kick, and suppress deformation of the exterior of the housing 1310.

In another embodiment, the light emitting sensor module 1300 may include a plurality of concentric circles formed therein, as illustrated in FIG. 6. One or more lamps may be formed in each of the concentric circles. When a punch or kick is applied to the central concentric circle a, all lamps R1, R2, and R3 may be operated. When a punch or kick is applied to the concentric circle b, the lamps R2 and R3 may be operated. When a punch or kick is applied to the concentric circle c, the lamp R3 may be operated. Thus, according to the position of a punch or kick, the intensity of light may be adjusted. In another embodiment, when a punch or kick is applied to the central concentric circle a, a red lamp may be operated, and when a punch or kick is applied to the outside concentric circle b or c, a blue or yellow lamp may be operated to indicate the accuracy of the punch or kick.

In another embodiment, the respective lamps of the light emitting sensor module 1300 may be operated different numbers of times according to the strength of a punch or kick. When the strength of a punch or kick is lower than reference strength, the light emitting sensor module 1300 may emit light three or four times per second, and when the strength of a punch or kick is higher than the reference strength, the light emitting sensor module 1300 may emit light five or six times per second, in order to distinguish between the strengths of punches or kicks. Furthermore, when the strength of a punch or kick is higher than the reference strength, the light emitting sensor module 1300 may emit red light, and when the strength of a punch or kick is lower than the reference strength, the light emitting sensor module 1300 may emit yellow light. The reference strength may be changed according to the type of martial art training.

The foul warning sensor 1240 may be attached to the protective cover 1200. The position of the foul warning sensor 1240 may be changed according to the type of martial art training. In Taekwondo, an attack on the spine is strictly forbidden. Thus, the foul warning sensor 1240 may be attached at a position of the protective cover 1200, which corresponds to the back of a wearer. When a punch or kick is applied to the foul warning sensor 1240, a trainee, a player, or a judge may easily recognize that the punch or kick is a foul.

FIG. 8 is a detailed diagram of a head protector as a martial art training tool that emits light when hit according to an embodiment of the present invention. In the present embodiment, the head protector 2000 includes a training body 2100, a protective cover 2200, and a light emitting sensor module 2300.

The training body 2100 may be formed to surround a part of the head of a trainee or player, in order to protect the trainee or player from a punch or kick applied to the head. The training body 2100 may be formed of compressed Styrofoam or sponge (EAV). Any materials may be used as long as they can absorb an impact caused by a punch or kick.

In the present embodiment, housing spaces 2110 may be formed at positions corresponding to the left and right ears of a wearer when the wearer wears the head protector 2000. However, the positions of the housing spaces 2110 may be changed according to the type of martial art training.

The housing space 2110 may have a shape corresponding to the shape of the light emitting sensor module 2300, and the light emitting sensor module 2300 may be detachably attached to the housing space 2110 through a force-fitting method. Thus, since the coupling strength therebetween is increased, the light emitting sensor module 2300 may be prevented from being arbitrarily separated from the housing space 2110.

The housing space 2110 may have one or more attachment/detachment holes 2111 formed at a predetermined interval on the edge thereof. A tool which can be utilized as a support may be inserted into the attachment/detachment hole 2111. Thus, when the light emitting sensor module 2300 needs to be attached or detached, a long rod-shaped tool may be inserted into the attachment/detachment hole 2111 so as to easily attach or detach the light emitting sensor module 2300 according to the principle of the lever.

The protective cover 2200 may be formed of leather, artificial leather, plastic or the like. Furthermore, the protective cover 1200 may be formed of various materials, in addition to the above-described materials. The protective cover 2200 may have a through-hole 2220 formed in one region thereof, and a second diffusion plate 2210 may be arranged in the through-hole 1250.

The second diffusion plate 2210 may be formed of a material which can absorb an impact while protecting a wearer's body. Furthermore, the second diffusion plate 1210 may be formed of a transparent material. For example, the second diffusion plate 2210 may be formed of a flexible material, such as soft plastic or soft silicon, which can easily absorb an impact caused by an external force. In addition, the second diffusion plate 2210 may diffuse light to improve the visibility of light emitted from the light emitting sensor module 2300. For this operation, the second diffusion plate 2210 may have a light scattering pattern formed on one surface thereof.

The protective cover 2200 may be integrated with the training body 2100 so as to completely surround the light emitting sensor module 2300 outside the training body 2100. In order to connect the protective cover 2200 and the training body 2100, the protective cover 2200 may have a cut surface formed at one surface thereof as illustrated in FIG. 8, and the cut surface and a surface facing the training body 2100 may be connected through a fastening member 2230.

The fastening member 2230 may include a snap button or Velcro tape, and any structures may be used as long as they can fasten the cut surface to the surface facing the training body 2100. Thus, since the bonded surface between the protective cover 2200 and the training body 2100 is smooth, a trainee or player's body may be prevented from being damaged even though the trainee or player's body comes in contact with the bonded surface, and the light emitting sensor module 2300 in the training body 2100 may be stably protected.

The light emitting sensor module 2300 may be attached to or detached from the housing space 2110. In the present embodiment, red lamps are applied to the left and right sides of the head protector 2000 such that players, judges, trainees, or spectators can check the accuracy of a momentary punch or kick. Since the light emitting sensor module 2300 can be configured in the same manner as the light emitting sensor module of the body protector, the detailed descriptions thereof are omitted herein.

The training body 2100 may include a foul warning sensor 2100 attached thereon. The position of the foul warning sensor may be changed according to the type of martial art training. When a punch or kick is applied to the foul warning sensor, the foul warning sensor issues a warning message to inform a trainee, a player, or a judge that the punch or kick is a foul.

FIG. 9 is a detailed diagram of a training mitt as a martial art training tool that emits light when hit according to an embodiment of the present invention. The training mitt 3000 includes a training body 3100, a protective cover 3200, and a light emitting sensor module 3300.

The training body 3100 may protect a trainee or player from an impact applied during a punching and kicking practice. The training body 3100 may be formed of compressed Styrofoam or sponge (EAV). Any materials may be used as long as they can absorb an impact caused by a punch or kick.

The training body 3100 may have a housing space 3110 formed therein such that the light emitting sensor module 3300 may be attached to or detached from the housing space 3110. In the present embodiment, one light emitting sensor module 3300 is formed in the center of the training body 3100, but two or more light emitting sensor modules 3200 may be formed in the training body 3100 so as to emit a different color of light according to the position of a punch or kick. Thus, the number and positions of the light emitting sensor modules 3200 are not limited thereto.

The housing space 3110 may have a shape corresponding to the shape of the light emitting sensor module 3300, and the light emitting sensor module 3200 may be detachably coupled to the housing space 2110 through a force-fitting method. Thus, since the coupling strength therebetween is increased, the light emitting sensor module 3300 may be prevented from being easily separated from the housing space 3110.

The protective cover 3200 may have a cut surface 3220 formed on one or more surfaces thereof, and the cut surface 3220 and a surface facing the cut surface 3220 may be fastened through a connection member such as a snap button, a zipper, or a Velcro tape so as to completely surround the training body 3100.

The protective cover 3200 may be formed of leather, artificial leather, plastic or the like, and the material of the protective cover 3200 is not limited thereto. The protective cover 3200 may have a through-hole 3240 formed in one region thereof, corresponding to the light emitting sensor module 3300, and a second diffusion plate 3210 may be provided in the through-hole 3240.

The second diffusion plate 3210 may be formed of a material which can absorb an impact while protecting a trainee's body. Furthermore, the second diffusion plate 1210 may be formed of a transparent material. However, the material of the second diffusion plate 3210 is not limited thereto. The second diffusion plate 3210 may have a light scattering pattern formed on the surface thereof, and the light scattering pattern may increase the visibility of light by scattering light generated from the light emitting sensor module 3300.

Since the light emitting sensor module 3300 may be configured in the same manner as the light emitting sensor module of the body protector 1000, the detailed descriptions thereof are omitted herein.

FIG. 10 is a detailed diagram of a training sandbag as a martial art training tool that emits light when hit according to an embodiment of the present invention. The training sandbag 4000 includes a training body 4100, a protective cover 4200, and a light emitting sensor module 4300.

The training body 4100 may protect a trainee or player from an impact applied during a punching and kicking practice. The training body 4100 may be filled with sand or grains, and the exterior of the training body 4100 may be formed of compressed Styrofoam or sponge (EAV). Any materials may be used as long as they can absorb an impact caused by a punch or kick.

The training body 4100 may have a housing space 4110 formed therein such that the light emitting sensor module 4300 can be attached to or detached from the housing space 4110. In the present embodiment, a plurality of housing spaces 4110 may be formed to be positioned in the circumferential direction and vertical directions of the training body 4100. However, the positions of the housing space 4100 may be changed according to the shape of the training sandbag.

The housing space 4110 may have a shape corresponding to the shape of the light emitting sensor module 4300, and the light emitting sensor module 4300 may be detachably coupled to the housing space 2110 through a force-fitting method. Thus, since the coupling strength therebetween is increased, the light emitting sensor module 4300 may be prevented from being arbitrarily separated from the housing space 4110.

The housing space 4110 may have one or more attachment/detachment holes 4111 formed at a predetermined interval on the edge thereof. A tool which can be utilized as a support may be inserted into the attachment/detachment hole 4111. Thus, when the light emitting sensor module 4300 needs to be attached or detached, a tool used as a support may be inserted into the attachment/detachment hole 4111 so as to easily attach or detach the light emitting sensor module 4300 according to the principle of the level.

The protective cover 4200 may be formed of leather, artificial leather, plastic or the like. Furthermore, the protective cover 1200 may be formed of various materials, in addition to the above-described materials. The protective cover 4200 may have a through-hole 4220 formed in one region thereof, and a second diffusion plate 4210 may be arranged in the through-hole 1250.

The second diffusion plate 4210 may be formed of a material which can absorb an impact while protecting a wearer's body. Furthermore, the second diffusion plate 1210 may be formed of a transparent material. For example, the second diffusion plate 4210 may be formed of a flexible material, such as soft plastic or soft silicon, which can easily absorb an impact caused by an external force. In addition, the second diffusion plate 4210 may diffuse light so as to improve the visibility of light emitted from the light emitting sensor module 4300. For this operation, the second diffusion plate 4210 may have a light scattering pattern formed on one surface thereof.

The protective cover 4200 may completely surround the training body 4100 and the light emitting sensor module 4300 outside the training body 4100. As illustrated in FIG. 10, the protective cover 4200 may be fastened to the training body 4100 through a fastening member 4230 formed on the inner surface of the protective cover 4200.

The fastening member 4230 may include a snap button or Velcro tape, and any structures may be used as long as they can fasten the protective cover 4200 to the training body 4100. Thus, since the bonded surface between the protective cover 4200 and the training body 4100 is smooth while the protective cover 4200 stably protects the light emitting sensor module 4300 and the training body 4100, a trainee or player's body may be prevented from being damaged even though the trainee or player's body comes in contact with the bonded surface during a punching and kicking practice using the sandbag.

Since the light emitting sensor module 4300 may be configured in the same manner as the light emitting sensor module of the body protector 1000, the detailed descriptions thereof are omitted herein.

FIG. 11 is a detailed diagram of a training belt as a martial art training tool that emits light when hit according to an embodiment of the present invention. The training belt 5000 may be fixed to an existing sandbag or shield by connecting fixation connection members 5231 formed at both ends of the training belt 5000, and a trainee may perform a punching and kicking practice using the sandbag or shield. The training belt 5000 includes a training body 5100, a protective cover 5200, and a light emitting sensor module 5300.

The training body 5100 may protect a trainee or player from an impact applied during a punching and kicking practice. The training body 5100 may be formed of compressed Styrofoam or sponge (EAV). Any materials may be applied as long as they can absorb an impact caused by a punch or kick.

The training body 5100 may have a housing space 5110 formed therein such that the light emitting sensor module 5300 may be attached to or detached from the housing space 5110. In the present embodiment, three housing spaces 5110 are formed in line in the center and left and right sides of the training body 5100. However, the positions and number of the housing spaces 5110 may be changed according to the shape of the training belt 5000.

The housing space 5110 may have a shape corresponding to the shape of the light emitting sensor module 5300, and the light emitting sensor module 5300 may be detachably coupled to the housing space 5110 through a force-fitting method. Thus, since the coupling strength therebetween is increased, the light emitting sensor module 5300 may be prevented from being arbitrarily separated from the housing space 5110.

The protective cover 5200 may completely surround the training body 5100 and the light emitting sensor module 5300 outside the training body 5100. For this structure, the training body 5100 may be inserted into the protective cover 5200, and fastened through a fastening member 5230 formed on the inner surface of the protective cover 5200, as illustrated in FIG. 11.

The fastening member 5230 may include a snap button or Velcro tape, and any structures may be used as long as they can fasten the training body 5100. Thus, since the fastening members 5230 formed on the inner surfaces of the protective cover 5200 are coupled to each other while the protective cover 5200 covers the training body 5100, a trainee's body may be prevented from being damaged even through the trainee's body comes in contact with the training belt 5000 during a punching and kicking practice. The protective cover 5200 may stably protect the light emitting sensor module 5300 in the training body 5100.

The protective cover 5200 may be formed of leather, artificial leather, plastic or the like. Furthermore, the protective cover 1200 may be formed of various materials, in addition to the above-described materials. The protective cover 5200 may have a through-hole 5240 formed in one region thereof, and a second diffusion plate 5210 may be arranged in the through-hole 5240.

The second diffusion plate 5210 positioned in one region of the protective cover 5200 may be formed of a material which can absorb an impact while protecting a wearer's body. Furthermore, the second diffusion plate 1210 may be formed of a transparent material. For example, the second diffusion plate 5210 may be formed of a flexible material, such as soft plastic or soft silicon, which can easily absorb an impact caused by an external force. In addition, the second diffusion plate 5210 may diffuse light so as to improve the visibility of light emitted from the light emitting sensor module 5300. For this operation, the second diffusion plate 5210 may have a light scattering pattern formed on one surface thereof.

Since the light emitting sensor module 5300 may be configured in the same manner as the light emitting sensor module of the body protector 1000, the detailed descriptions thereof are omitted herein.

Although a preferred embodiment of the present invention has been described for illustrative purposes, those skilled in the art will appreciate that various modifications, additions and substitutions are possible, without departing from the scope and the spirit of the invention as disclosed in the accompanying claims.

Claims

1. A martial art training tool that emits light when hit, comprising:

one or more light emitting sensor modules configured to emit light in response to an applied punch or kick;
a training body having a housing space formed therein such that the light emitting sensor module is attached to or detached from the housing space, the housing space having a shape corresponding to the light emitting sensor module; and
a protective cover formed to cover the training body.

2. The martial art training tool of claim 1, wherein the light emitting sensor module is divided into a plurality of concentric circles, and one or more lamps are arranged in each of the concentric circles so as to emit limit according to the position of a punch or kick applied to the concentric circle.

3. The martial art training tool of claim 1, wherein the light emitting sensor module comprises:

a housing;
a lamp;
a sensor configured to output a voltage corresponding to a punch or kick applied from outside;
a battery; and
a controller driven by power provided from the battery, and configured to change any one of the intensity and color of light emitted from the lamp in response to the output of the sensor.

4. The martial art training tool of claim 3, further comprising a first diffusion plate provided on an exposed surface of the housing in a light emission direction of the lamp, and configured to diffuse light emitted from the lamp.

5. The martial art training tool of claim 4, wherein the first diffusion plate has a light scattering pattern formed on one surface thereof.

6. The martial art training tool of claim 3, wherein the lamp comprises first and second lamps, and

the first and second lamps emit light in opposite directions to each other.

7. The martial art training tool of claim 3, further comprising one or more lamp protectors provided on the inner circumferential surface of the housing and positioned between a contact surface of the housing, to which a punch or kick is applied, and a surface facing the contact surface.

8. The martial art training tool of claim 1, wherein the training body comprises the body of any one of a body protector, a head protector, a training mitt, and a training belt.

9. The martial art training tool of claim 1, wherein the protective cover has a through-hole formed in one region thereof, and a second diffusion plate formed of a transparent or translucent material is provided in the through-hole.

10. The martial art training tool of claim 8, wherein the second diffusion plate has a light scattering pattern formed on one surface thereof.

11. The martial art training tool of claim 1, wherein the protective cover has a cut surface formed at one side thereof, and the cut surface and a surface facing the cut surface are connected to each other through any one of a zipper, a Velcro tape, and a snap button.

12. The martial art training tool of claim 1, wherein the light emitting sensor module is force-fitted to the housing space.
