1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a device for producing fuel of sludge, and more particularly, to a device for producing fuel of sludge which can dry organic sludge generated in industrial sites or domestic sewage treatment plants by an evaporative drying method so as to evaporate moisture to moisture content of about 1.0% and separate oil from the sludge by a sludge separator so as to produce fuel of sludge.
2. Background Art
In general, sludge generated in sewage treatment plants is treated in order of landfill, ocean dumping, agricultural usage, incineration, and others.
Out of the sludge treatment methods, the landfill occupied more than 70% of the whole sludge treatment methods, but has been prohibited by the direct landfilling prohibition law of organic sludge.
Moreover, out of the sludge treatment methods, the ocean dumping which was frequently used next the landfill was perfectly prohibited by laws related with waste treatment in 2012. Therefore, measures to treat and dispose sludge are urgently needed.
In the meantime, as a measure to treat the generated sludge, a method for producing fuel after drying sludge by vacuum drying in oil to use oil as heat transfer medium in a vacuum state is on the rise. However, such a sludge drying method has a problem in that it is difficult to perfectly separate the transfer oil from the sludge.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONAccordingly, the present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems occurring in the prior arts, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a device for producing fuel of sludge which can dry organic sludge generated in industrial sites or domestic sewage treatment plants by an evaporative drying method so as to evaporate moisture to moisture content of about 1.0% and separate oil from the sludge by a sludge separator so as to produce fuel of powdered sludge.
To accomplish the above object, according to the present invention, there is provided a device for producing fuel of sludge including: a cylindrical body having a sludge inlet formed at an upper portion and a sludge outlet formed at a lower portion of the body; a stirring shaft rotated by a motor and vertically mounted at the center of the body; a movement space having heating plates formed toward the stirring shaft and heating plates formed toward the body, the heating plates formed toward the stirring shaft and the heating plates formed toward the body being mounted alternately and respectively having heaters; stirring wings disposed between the heating plates and mounted on the stirring shaft; and a screw conveyer connected with the sludge outlet of the body.
As described above, the device for producing fuel of sludge according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention can mix and heat organic sludge generated in generated in houses, food manufacturers, sewage treatment plants, water treatment plants, industrial sites, and others with transfer oil and dry the sludge by an evaporative drying method so as to evaporate moisture to moisture content of about 1.0%, such that the device can incinerate the sludge and obtain renewable energy, and thus, can use the fuel produced from the sludge as fuel for operating incinerators, fuel for generating steam and heating water in industrial sites, fuel for greenhouse heating for cultivating agricultural products, and others, can rapidly treat a great deal of sludge of various kinds so as to reduce treatment expenses, and can prevent the second environmental pollution generated during the process of treating sludge.
The above and other objects, features and advantages of the present invention will be apparent from the following detailed description of the preferred embodiment of the present invention in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, in which:
Reference will be now made in detail to the preferred embodiment of the present invention with reference to the attached drawings.
As shown in
A stirring shaft 21 rotated by a motor 20 is vertically mounted at the center of the body 10.
A movement space 30 is formed inside the body 10 for downwardly moving the sludge, and heating plates 31 formed toward the stirring shaft 21 and heating plates 31 formed toward the body 10 are mounted inside the movement space 30 alternately in a multi-stepwise manner.
Heaters 32 are mounted inside the heating plate 31 and are arranged in a circular form or in a straight line form.
It is preferable that the heating plates 31 be inclinedly formed toward the movement space 30, such that the dried sludge can smoothly get out of the movement space 30 while sliding along the heating plates 31 using gravity drop.
Between the heating plates 31, stirring wings 22 are mounted on the stirring shaft 21.
A screw conveyer 40 is connected to the outlet 12 of the body 10.
The sludge and transfer oil are mixed together at the ratio of 5:5 and are dried in moisture content of 2% through the vacuum evaporation and drying processes so as to be a dried sludge. The dried sludge is supplied into a sludge tank 50, and is firstly deoiled in an oil extractor 51 when the sludge tank supplies sludge to the oil extractor 51, and then, the firstly deoiled sludge is supplied to the inlet 11 of the device.
When the motor 20 and the heaters 32 are operated, the stirring shaft 21 is rotated, and at the same time, the heating plates 31 are heated by the heaters 32.
The sludge put into the inlet 11 is downwardly moved through the inner movement space 30 and downwardly moved through the outer movement space 30 in shifts while being stirred by the stirring wings 22 and heated by heat of the heating plates 31, and then, is discharged out through the outlet 12 of the body 10.
The discharged sludge is transferred to a dried sludge cooler 52 through the screw conveyer 40, and the transferred sludge is cooled by the dried sludge cooler 52 so as to become fuel.
The fuelized dried sludge is stored in a dried sludge storage 53. The dried sludge in the dried sludge storage 53 and fuel coal additives of a fuel coal additive storage tank 54 are mixed together at the ratio of 7:3 in a fuel coal mixing conveyer 55 and are supplied to a fuel coal former 56 so as to be formed as fuel coal. Alternatively, fuel coal powder mixed in the mixing conveyer 55 packs the fuelized sludge by a packing unit in a fuel coal measuring and delivering equipment 57.
As described above, the device for producing fuel of sludge according to the exemplary embodiment of the present invention can mix and heat the sludge generated in generated in houses, food manufacturers, sewage treatment plants, water treatment plants, industrial sites, and others with the transfer oil and dry the sludge by the evaporative drying method so as to evaporate moisture to moisture content of about 1.0%, such that the device can incinerate the sludge and obtain renewable energy, and thus, can use the fuel produced from the sludge as fuel for operating incinerators, fuel for generating steam and heating water in industrial sites, fuel for greenhouse heating for cultivating agricultural products, and others.
While the present invention has been described with reference to the particular illustrative embodiment, it is not to be restricted by the embodiment but only by the appended claims. It is to be appreciated that those skilled in the art can change or modify the embodiment without departing from the scope and spirit of the present invention.
