EYELASH EXTENSIONS WITH MULTIPLE ROOTS
Described are eyelash extensions that are formed of multiple filaments attached with one another such that a gap exists between the ends of at least two of the filaments. The filaments can be attached so that the eyelash extension includes multiple roots and/or multiple head, and/or multiple colors. Further, the roots and/or heads can be of different lengths, size, thickness, curvature, etc.
This is a non-provisional application of U.S. Provisional Application No. 61/920,288, filed on Dec. 23, 2013, entitled, “Double Tapered Ends.”
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION(1) Field of Invention
The present invention relates to false eyelashes, and more particularly to eyelash extensions having multiple roots for applying the eyelash extensions to a user's eyelashes.
(2) Description of Related Art
Beauty products have long been known in the art. Users, women in particular, have sought a variety of beauty products to enhance their aesthetic, appearance. For example, blush is often used to add color to a woman's cheeks. As another example, lipstick is traditionally used to add a variety of colors and features to a user's lips. To enhance the appearance of a user's eyelashes, the user often applies mascara. Mascara is applied to the user's eyelashes to both thicken and bring color to the eyelashes.
As an alternative to mascara, a user can apply adhesive-backed false eyelashes. The adhesive-backed false eyelashes typically consist of a tape-like material with a plurality of eyelashes affixed thereto. The tape-like material can be applied to the user's eyelid to add the appearance of thick and hill eyelashes.
A problem with adhesive-backed false eyelashes is that they typically do not look natural and because of their bulk, cannot be worn comfortably for extended periods of time.
Therefore, there is a continuing need for eyelash extensions that look, natural and that can be worn comfortably for extended periods of time.
SUMMARY OF INVENTIONThe present invention is directed to eyelash extensions having double tapered ends for applying the eyelash extensions to a user's eyelashes.
Finally, as can be appreciated by one in the art, the present invention also comprises a method for forming and using the invention described herein.

(1) Description
The present invention relates to false eyelashes, and more particularly to eyelash extensions having multiple roots for applying the eyelash extensions to a user's eyelashes. In short, the eyelash extension is formed of multiple synthetic lashes that are attached to one another using any suitable attachment technique, such as being glued, melted, etc. While some of the individual lashes may be cut to a blunt end, at least one on each end is tapered. Importantly and in another aspect, the eyelash extension is formed of a plurality of individual filaments (e.g., lashes) that are adhered to one another in a manner such that a gap exists between the ends of at least two of the individual filaments, thereby forming multiple roots or, in another aspect, multiple heads, These aspects are depicted further in the figures.
For example,
Thus and as noted above, the lashes according to the principles of the present invention are formed by adhering at least two filaments with one another.
