Enhanced Heel Shoe Attachment Device
An enhanced heel shoe attachment device attaches to a low heeled or flat shoe to convert the shoe into a high heeled shoe. The device includes a sole extension having a bottom surface, a top surface, and a perimeter wall coupled to and extending between the top surface and the bottom surface. Each of a plurality of clips is coupled to the sole extension. The clips are arranged around a perimeter of the top surface of the sole extension. Each clip has a distal portion relative to the sole extension extending over the top surface of the sole extension wherein the clips are configured for engaging a sole of a flat soled shoe wherein the sole extension extends downwardly from the sole.
The disclosure relates to shoe devices and more particularly pertains to a new shoe device for attaching to a low heeled or flat shoe to convert the shoe into a high heeled shoe.
SUMMARY OF THE DISCLOSUREAn embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a sole extension having a bottom surface, a top surface, and a perimeter wall coupled to and extending between the top surface and the bottom surface.
There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.
The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:
With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
As best illustrated in
In an embodiment shown in
A cavity 42 extends into the top surface 16 of the sole extension 12. The cavity 42 is positioned adjacent to the back end 32 of the sole extension 12 wherein the cavity 42 is configured to receive a heel 44 extending from the sole 26 when the sole 26 is coupled to the sole extension 12. A bottom surface 48 of the cavity 42 may be sloped wherein the bottom surface 48 extends downwardly and away from the back end 32 of the sole extension 12. A panel 50 may be coupled to and cover completely the bottom surface 14 of the sole extension 12. The panel 50 may be comprised of a soft material such as fabric, resilient rubber, or the like.
In an embodiment shown in
In use, the shoe 28 is coupled to the sole extension 12 by inserting the sole 26 of the shoe 28 into engagement with the clips 20 or bracket 56. The shoe 28 is then worn in a conventional manner coupled to and supported on the device 10.
With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure.
