Multipurpose Prevents Epidemics Band

Abstract

A multipurpose prevents epidemics band contains a body, at least one elastic rope, and an adjusting member. The body includes a first outer layer, a second outer layer, and a movable replacing layer. The first outer layer is attached on the second outer layer, and an accommodating pocket is defined between the first outer layer and the second outer layer and has at least one opening so as to accommodate the movable replacing layer. The first outer layer has a filtering nonwoven fabric soaked with herbal liquid. The at least one elastic rope is inserted into two opposite sides of the body, and the adjusting member is fixed on each of the at least one elastic rope. Thereby, the body is hanged on user's head or other portions, and the adjusting member is arranged to adjust an expansion and retraction of the at least one elastic rope.

Description

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invent relates to a multipurpose prevents epidemics band, and more particularly to a multipurpose prevents epidemics band which is produced by using traditional Chinese medicine moxibustion and folk therapy so as to obtain protection, heating, cold proof and worm functions.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

A conventional moxibustion means igniting herbal medicine to cure user, and it is easy to cause fire carelessly and have air pollution. Also, patient will be burned to blister or to be purulent to skins. In therapy process, the patient has to sit or lie for a long time, thus having inconvenience and discomfort. A conventional topical medicine agent contains herbal medicine bag, herbal paste, medicine patch, or positioning strap of topical formulations which is coated or pasted on user's skins, but it cannot expand skin pores and blood vessels so that medicine is absorbed via the skins.

A conventional mask is employed to stop dirties and dusts flowing into nose and mouth. The conventional mask contains an outer layer, a filtering layer, a skin contacting layer, and two elastic ropes fixed on two opposite sides of the mask, wherein the filtering layer is a nonwoven fabric with activated carbon and is defined between the outer layer and the skin contacting layer, an peripheral side of the filtering layer is in connection with an peripheral side of the skin contacting layer and a peripheral side of the outer layer.

Nevertheless, such a conventional mask still has the following defects:

1. In breathing, the air cannot be filtered completely after passing through the filtering layer, thereby having poor antibacterial and antiviral functions.

2. The conventional mask is worn on user's ears by means of the two elastic ropes, yet it cannot cover user's face tightly and comfortably. For example, protecting rate of the conventional mask is 50%. In other words, viruses and bacteria in the air pass through the make easily and cannot be stopped entering user's mouth and nose. Likewise, it is uncomfortable for the user after a long period of using time.

The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a multipurpose prevents epidemics band which when a body is hanged on acupuncture point or painful portions, it can be used as the herbal medicine bag, herbal paste, medicine patch, or positioning strap of topical formulations, and when the body is employed as the topical formulations, the herbal medicine bag will not be placed in an accommodating pocket but contact with skins directly, such that the moxa bag generates heat to expand skin pores and blood vessels so that medicines are absorbed via skin tissue, thus heating and activating muscles and bones. Initiative will combine topical transdermal route of administration is generally customary formulations, and warm moxibustion package isothermal bags into one of the innovative route of administration. To obtain the above objectives, a multipurpose prevents epidemics band provided by the present invention contains:

a body including a first outer layer, a second outer layer, and a movable replacing layer, wherein the first outer layer is attached on the second outer layer, and an accommodating pocket is defined between the first outer layer and the second outer layer, the accommodating pocket has at least one opening and is used to accommodate the movable replacing layer, and the first outer layer has a filtering nonwoven fabric soaked with herbal liquid;

at least one elastic rope inserted into two opposite sides of the body;

an adjusting member fixed on each of the at least one elastic rope;

hence the body is hanged on user's head or other portions, and the adjusting member is arranged to adjust an expansion and retraction of the at least one elastic rope.

The first outer layer includes the filtering nonwoven fabric for stopping viruses and bacteria entering user's mouth and nose. Preferably, the accommodating pocket is defined between the first outer layer and the second outer layer and has a movable replacing layer, the movable replacing layer has a herbal medicine bag and a moxa bag, wherein the herbal medicine bag has five Chinese herbal medicines processed and crushed for circulating blood and preventing diseases, and the moxa bag has heating material comprised of iron powders, magnets, activated carbon, sodium, and

Chinese herbal medicines soaked with liquid mixed from five Chinese herbal medicines. Thereby, the moxa bag is rubbed to release heat so that temperature of the user's body is raised up to 40-45° C. for relieving spreading of influenza virus. Preferably, since mucus secretion occurs quickly after the moxa bag is rubbed to release heat, viruses are removed from the user's body with mucus secretion, thereby improving body's defense.

The multipurpose prevents epidemics band of the first embodiment comprises:

a body 10 including a first outer layer 11, a second outer layer 12, and a movable replacing layer 13, wherein the first outer layer 11 is attached on the second outer layer 12, and an accommodating pocket 14 is defined between the first outer layer 11 and the second outer layer 12; as shown in FIG. 2, the accommodating pocket 14 has two openings 141 defined on two sides thereof, and the first outer layer 11 has a first cotton fabric (or a first non-woven fabric) 111 disposed on an external surface thereof, a filtering nonwoven fabric 112 soaked with herbal liquid and mounted on an internal surface thereof, and a nose fixed article 113 fixed on an upper side of the first cotton fabric (or the first non-woven fabric) 111; the second outer layer 12 has a second cotton fabric (or a second non-woven fabric) 121 disposed on an external surface thereof and an activated carbon fiber cloth 122 mounted on an internal surface thereof; the movable replacing layer 13 has a herbal medicine bag 131 and a moxa bag 132, wherein the herbal medicine bag 131 is fixed on one side of the moxa bag 132 and has five Chinese herbal medicines processed and crushed for circulating blood and preventing diseases, the moxa bag 132 has heating material comprised of iron powders, magnets, activated carbon, sodium, and Chinese herbal medicines soaked with liquid mixed from five Chinese herbal medicines; the herbal medicine bag 131 and the moxa bag 132 are placed in the accommodating pocket 14 from the two openings 141;

at least one elastic rope 20 inserted into two opposite sides of the body 10 so as to be pulled and return back to its original position;

an adjusting member 30 formed in a ball shape and includes a through hole 31 formed on a central position thereof and a pressing column 32 secured therein, wherein the through hole 31 of the adjusting member 30 is arranged to insert the at least one elastic rope 20 and to adjust an expansion and retraction of the at least one elastic rope 20 by ways of the pressing column 32. Since the adjusting member 30 is a well-known art, further remarks are omitted.

Referring further to FIG. 2, the filtering nonwoven fabric 112 of the first outer layer 11 is soaked with the herbal liquid, the accommodating pocket 14 has the herbal medicine bag 131 placed therein adjacent to user's body and the moxa bag 132 facing outwardly, and the moxa bag 132 has the herbal medicine bag 131 located on an outer surface thereof. As illustrated in FIGS. 4 and 5, the moxa bag 132 is processed from iron powders, magnets, activated carbon, sodium, and Chinese herbal medicines soaked with liquid mixed from five Chinese herbal medicines.

In use, the body 10 is fitted on user's head so as to be used as a head hanging mask and to obtain advantages as follows:

1. The body 10 covers user's mouth and nose tightly to enhance disease prevention.

2. In breathing process, viruses and bacteria in the air pass through the filtering nonwoven fabric 112, thus stopping viruses and bacteria entering user's mouth and nose.

3. The accommodating pocket 14 of the body 10 is configured to accommodate the herbal medicine bag 131 for preventing disease infection.

4. The moxa bag 132 is processed from iron powders, magnets, activated carbon, sodium, and Chinese herbal medicines soaked with liquid mixed from the five Chinese herbal medicines so as to provide disease prevention.

5. The moxa bag 132 is rubbed to release heat so that temperature of the user's body is raised up to 40-45° C. for relieving spreading of influenza virus because the temperature of the user's body is more than 10° C. to 20° C. at which influenza virus spread quickly.

6. Since mucus secretion occurs quickly after the moxa bag 132 is rubbed to release heat, viruses are removed from the user's body with mucus secretion, thereby improving body's defense.

In addition, when the body 10 is hanged on navel, zusanli acupoint, or dog day acupoint, it can be used as the herbal medicine bag 131, herbal paste, medicine patch, or positioning strap of topical formulations. When the body 10 is employed as the topical formulations, the herbal medicine bag 131 will not be placed in the accommodating pocket 14 but contact with skins directly, such that the moxa bag 132 generates heat to expand skin pores and blood vessels so that medicines are absorbed via skin tissue, thus heating and activating muscles and bones. Accordingly, the multipurpose prevents epidemics band is also applied as topical medicine agent and to achieve heating effect. Likewise, it is convenient to be portable. The first outer layer 11 has the first cotton fabric (or the first non-woven fabric) 111, the filtering nonwoven fabric 112 soaked with the herbal liquid, and the nose fixed article 113 fixed on the upper side of the first cotton fabric (or the first non-woven fabric) 111. The second outer layer 12 has the second cotton fabric (or the second non-woven fabric) 121 and the activated carbon fiber cloth 122. The accommodating pocket 14 has the herbal medicine bag 131 placed therein adjacent to user's body and the moxa bag 132 facing outwardly, and the herbal medicine bag 131 and the moxa bag 132 have heating material, hence after the herbal medicine bag 131 and the moxa bag 132 are rubbed to release heat so that the temperature of the user's body is raised up to 40-45° C. for relieving, filtering and preventing spreading of influenza virus. Preferably, the air flow into the user's body through the first cotton fabric (or the first non-woven fabric) 111, the filtering nonwoven fabric 112, the moxa bag 132, the herbal medicine bag 131, the activated carbon fiber cloth 122, and the second cotton fabric (or the second non-woven fabric) 121, thus enhancing filtration protection. The herbal medicine bag 131 and the moxa bag 132 are also provided to release herbal aroma, thus enhancing comfort.

FIG. 6 is a perspective view showing the assembly of a multipurpose prevents epidemics band according to a second embodiment of the present invention. The multipurpose prevents epidemics band of the second embodiment is served as a washable or disposable mask and comprises: a body 10. The body 10 includes a first outer layer 11, an article nose fixed 113 fixed on an upper side thereof, a filtering nonwoven fabric 112 soaked with herbal liquid, an accommodating pocket 14 defined between the first outer layer 11 and the second outer layer 12 and having a movable replacing layer 13 accommodated in the accommodating pocket 14. The movable replacing layer 13 has a herbal medicine bag 131 fixed in the accommodating pocket 14 proximate to user's body and a moxa bag 132 facing to an external environment. The body 10 also includes two elastic ropes 20 inserted into two opposite sides thereof, and each elastic rope 20 has an adjusting member 30, wherein the adjusting member 30 is a Velcro tape 40 which has an attaching section 41 formed on a first side of the Velcro tape 40 and a connecting section 42 arranged on a second side of the Velcro tape 40 and coupling with the attaching section 41, such that the Velcro tape 40 is inserted through the two elastic ropes 20 and is connected by ways of the attaching section 41 and the connecting section 42. Thereby, the multipurpose prevents epidemics band of the second embodiment has above-mentioned advantages. Furthermore, the body 10 is attached on the user's body by means of the attaching section 41 and the connecting section 42. The body 10 includes herbal medicines to enhance disease prevention and the moxa bag 132 is used as the herbal medicine bag 131, herbal paste, medicine patch, or positioning strap of topical formulations. When the body 10 is used as the topical formulations, the herbal medicine bag 131 will not be placed in the accommodating pocket 14 but contact with skins directly, such that the moxa bag 132 generates heat to expand skin pores and blood vessels so that medicines are absorbed via skin tissue, thus heating and activating muscles and bones. It is preferable that the body 10 can be also employed as knee brace, elbow pad, wrist band, and ankle brace.

Accordingly, the appended claims are intended to cover all embodiments which do not depart from the spirit and scope of the invention.

Claims

1. A multipurpose prevents epidemics band comprising:

a body including a first outer layer, a second outer layer, and a movable replacing layer, wherein the first outer layer is attached on the second outer layer, and an accommodating pocket is defined between the first outer layer and the second outer layer, the accommodating pocket has at least one opening and is used to accommodate the movable replacing layer, and the first outer layer has a filtering nonwoven fabric soaked with herbal liquid;

at least one elastic rope inserted into two opposite sides of the body;

an adjusting member fixed on each of the at least one elastic rope;

hence the body is hanged on user's head or other portions, and the adjusting member is arranged to adjust an expansion and retraction of the at least one elastic rope.

2. The multipurpose prevents epidemics band as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first outer layer has a first cotton fabric or a first non-woven fabric disposed on an external surface thereof and has the filtering nonwoven fabric mounted on an internal surface thereof.

3. The multipurpose prevents epidemics band as claimed in claim 1, wherein the second outer layer has a second cotton fabric or a second non-woven fabric disposed on an external surface thereof and has an activated carbon fiber cloth mounted on an internal surface thereof.

4. The multipurpose prevents epidemics band as claimed in claim 1, wherein the movable replacing layer has a moxa bag fixed therein so as to enhance disease prevention when the body is fitted on user's head.

The multipurpose prevents epidemics band as claimed in claim 1, wherein the movable replacing layer is a herbal medicine bag or the moxa bag, such that when the body is hanged on navel, zusanli acupoint, or dog day acupoint, it is used as the herbal medicine bag, herbal paste, medicine patch, or positioning strap of topical formulations, and initiative will combine topical transdermal route of administration is generally customary formulations, and warm moxibustion package isothermal bags into one of the innovative route of administration.

The multipurpose prevents epidemics band as claimed in claim 1, wherein the adjusting member includes a through hole formed on a central position thereof and a pressing column secured therein, wherein the through hole of the adjusting member is arranged to insert the at least one elastic rope and to adjust an expansion and retraction of the at least one elastic rope by ways of the pressing column.

The multipurpose prevents epidemics band as claimed in claim 1, wherein the adjusting member is a Velcro tape which has an attaching section formed on a first side of the Velcro tape and a connecting section arranged on a second side of the Velcro tape and coupling with the attaching section, such that the Velcro tape is inserted through the at least one elastic ropes and is connected by ways of the attaching section and the connecting section.

8. The multipurpose prevents epidemics band as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first outer layer has a nose fixed article fixed on an upper side thereof.
