BIG FOOT IMPRESSION DEVICE

Abstract

A foot impression device comprising: an inner sole; a outer sole with a foot impression; a strap, where the strap secures a user's foot within the foot impression device during use; and a heel strap, where the heel strap provides heel support for the user's foot. The strap extends through the foot impression and includes two attachment ends exposed on the outer sole. The foot impression replicates an animal species and in one particular embodiment, the animal species includes a Sasquatch aka Big Foot.

Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of Invention

The present invention relates to a device that is used to leave a false foot impression replicating foot prints of the folklore creature, Big Foot.

2. Description of Related Art

Many individuals have some recollection of an ape-like creature that allegedly inhabits certain forests in particular in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States and other forest areas of North America. This particular creature has been referred to as Big Foot also known as Sasquatch. Although scientifically most scientists have discounted the existence of Big Foot and believe its existence is merely folklore or a hoax of a large living animal. Some individuals or people have stated they have encountered Big Foot but however the sightings of Big Foot have varied and has been misidentified with other species. Further some individuals believe Big Foot is attributed to paranormal causes or UFOs. Various hoaxes have been discovered where individuals believe they have seen sightings of Big Foot or more commonly footprints that are allegedly belonging to the Big Foot. Consequently as a means to play practical jokes some individuals may be interested in a device could perpetuate the Big Foot folklore and allow them to leave large-shaped footprints that may lead one to believe that Big Foot has traveled across a particular area.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a foot impression device comprising: an inner sole; a outer sole with a foot impression; a strap, where the strap secures a user's foot within the foot impression device during use; and a heel strap, where the heel strap provides heel support for the user's foot. The strap extends through the foot impression and includes two attachment ends exposed on the outer sole. The foot impression replicates an animal species and in one particular embodiment, the animal species includes a Sasquatch aka Big Foot.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

The present invention relates to a foot impression device that is utilized to leave a foot impression resembling a Sasquatch also known as a Big Foot. The foot impression is worn over an individual's foot where the impression includes a strap that secures the foot impression onto an individual's foot and a heel strap to further support the impression. Once the impression is placed over the feet of the user, a user may walk through a wooded or otherwise outdoor area leaving foot impressions that resemble foot impressions of the infamous Big Foot.

In reference to FIG. 1, a Foot Impression 100 is depicted. Both the Inner Sole 50 and Outer Sole 60 are shown opposite to each other in FIG. 1. The Inner Sole 50 includes Toes 59 and a Heel Strap 56. Across the mid inner sole is a Strap 52 that includes a Buckle 54. The Strap 52 straps across the individual's foot that may use the Foot Impression 100 to leave Big Foot impressions in the woods. The Foot Impression 100 was also shown with the Outer Sole 60. The Outer Sole 60 may be molded and shaped into an appropriate foot impression that would lead individuals to believe that a Sasquatch has traveled over a particular area. Also shown at the Outer Sole 60 are Strap Attachments 62, 64 on each side of the Outer Sole 60. Further Toes 59 are also shown extending from the Outer Sole 60.

FIG. 2 depicts a cross section of the Foot Impression 100. This cross section shows the outer Sole 60 may include an image impression. This image impression leaves a foot impression over the surface of an area as an individual uses the foot impression 100. In addition to the foot impression provided by the outer sole, the inner sole allows for the insertion of the individual's foot into the foot impression for use.

The present invention allows an individual to create faux Big Foot prints in the soft dirt, snow or sand and therefore has potential to assist individuals in playing practical jokes on friends and neighbors. The present invention is characterized or used as a novelty device that leaves large foot impressions equivalent to the folklore of Big Foot. In one particular embodiment, the foot impression may be 16 inches in length and 8 inches in width creating the illusion of a large animal tracking across the particular area. The foregoing descriptions of specific embodiments of the present invention have been presented for purposes of illustration and description. Claims

1. A foot impression device comprising:

a. an inner sole;

b. a outer sole with a foot impression;

c. a strap, where the strap secures a user's foot within the foot impression device during use; and

d. a heel strap, where the heel strap provides heel support for the user's foot.

2. The foot impression device according to claim 1, where the strap extends through the foot impression and includes two attachment ends exposed on the outer sole.

3. The foot impression device according to claim 1, where the foot impression replicates a animal species.

4. The foot impression devices according to claim 3, where the animal species includes a Sasquatch.
