Paintball Gun Structure Capable of Rotating and Lifting Off Paintball

A paintball gun structure, which is capable of rotating and lift up a paintball, mainly includes a barrel and a rubber collar. The rubber collar is connected with the barrel in the middle of a bore thereof, where a conical slide rail element is projected from an upper side of an inner face of the rubber collar. A paintball is rotated upward and lifted up to increase range and strike force after it is passed through the barrel and shot out of a muzzle of the barrel.

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a paintball gun structure capable of rotating and lifting off a paintball, and more particularly to a paintball gun barrel for games having a longer range.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PRIOR ART

General paintball guns for games use rifles as their prototypes, allowing them to have characteristics of the long stroke of a long barrel and the range extension of their paintballs to be used as sniper rifles. Therefore, the range that can be shown on a paintball gun is only a superficial characteristic that a player wants to experience the performance of a real rifle primarily besides the accuracy thereof can be controlled simulating a real gun.

The guns for games are generally not provided with rifling inside barrels thereof because bullets are not made of hard metal such that it is difficult for rifling to have a guide effect. Therefore, confined to a circular tube structure design, a sphere-typed paintball is slid in a straight line to eject out of a muzzle toward a target when it is passed through a barrel instantly in a high speed. But, the paint ball ejected out of a muzzle is subjected to gravity and atmospheric drag and thus dropped rapidly in a parabolic curve such that an effective aimed range will be shortened and a reality performing effect of the game will be lost.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

One object of the present invention is to provide a paintball gun capable of rotating and lifting off a paintball, configured with a conical slide rail element on the upper side of the inner wall of a barrel, allowing a paintball to be rotated and lifted off while being ejected out of the barrel due to compression and friction at the instant that the paintball passes the slide rail element, thereby extending an effective range due to antigravity.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a paintball gun capable of rotating and lifting off a paintball, connected with a rubber collar at the middle section or muzzle section of a bore to use as a portion of the barrel, where a conical slide rail element is projected from the upper side of the inner face of the rubber collar, thereby compress and rubbing against paintballs passed through it.

Still another object of the present invention is to provide a paintball gun capable of rotating and lifting off a paintball, having a rubber collar configured on the midst of a bore; the rubber collar is mainly referred to a projection on the upper side of the inner face of the rubber collar, the projection being soft and formed into a slope-typed body, allowing paintballs to be compressed during sliding but not broken. In addition, the conical slide rail element has two rails spaced apart and parallel to the barrel such that it can grasp paintballs tightly and guide them in an exact shooting direction.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, which respectively are a longitudinal and transversal cross-sectional view of a paintball gun barrel according to the present invention, a barrel 10 is connected with a rubber collar 11, and a soft and slope-typed conical slide rail element 12 is projected from the upper side of the inner face of the rubber collar 11, allowing paintballs to be compressed but not broken while sliding in the barrel 10. Furthermore, the conical slide rail element 12 is configured with two rails spaced apart and parallel to the barrel 10 such that it can grasp the paintballs tightly and guides them in an exact shooting direction. The current market available paintballs are generally made by combining two hemispherical soft capsules together. As a paintball is very apt to be broken if the lift-off system is just in contact with the seam of the paintball upon shooting, the conical slide rail element 12 is particularly made of soft rubber and adopted with a double sloped strip so as to avoid possible breakage upon the pass-through of the paintball.

Referring to FIGS. 3, 4 and 5, which respectively are longitudinal cross-sectional views of a paintball gun barrel according to the present invention before a paintball enters it, during a paintball is shot in the middle thereof and after a paintball is shot out of the muzzle thereof, a paintball 13 is a solid elastic sphere in which paint is fully included, it will enter the barrel 10 as FIG. 3 shows. Thereafter, the paintball 13 is compressed and rubbed against by the conical slide rail element 12 and then begin to rotate backward after it enters the barrel 10 as FIG. 4 shows. Finally, the paintball 13 is compressed by high pressure gas behind it to push and slide out of the barrel 10; the paintball 13, at this time, will rotate upward continuously and travel straightly, thereby achieving a lift-off effect to resist the influence of gravity, enabling the paintball 13 to have a farer range and strike force under the same gravity.

Claims

1. A paintball gun structure capable of rotating and lift up a paintball, comprising a barrel and a rubber collar, wherein:

said rubber collar is connected with said barrel in the middle of a bore thereof;
a conical slide rail element comprises two slide rails projecting from an upper side of an inner face of said rubber collar into the barrel in such a way that the two slide rails are apart from each other and each of the slide rails has a slope that extends obliquely into the bore of the barrel.
