Description

The present invention refers to a refrigerated cabinet of the type comprising a thermally insulated cabinet space, divided internally into a plurality of free compartments, where a plurality of packs or packages of beverages are contained, chilled and/or displayed, and which carries a conventional compact low-power refrigerating machine of the cold display case type or the like, having the special feature of being totally minimal in a unique combination of module and arrangement of reduced free space, in order to contain temporarily and chill rapidly, individually and selectively, continuously or discontinuously, serially or randomly, whose cavity holds a single agglomerated product in the form of a pack or box of beverages at a time, and being in turn completely portable in a combination of simple support structures of reduced footprint with wheels in the support base which support the cabinet of vertical outer body formed as a rectangular parallelepiped of reduced dimensions, giving it ease of movement, suitable for shops or beverage distributors.

The refrigerated cabinets of this type are customarily used for shops and in beverage distribution to contain, store, chill and/or display inside them a plurality of products with quantities greater than more than one agglomerated module of pack type or a box of beverage containers, and generally these refrigerated cabinets have electrical refrigerating units of low power, but large internal dimensions for the cabinet space holding the plurality of products, so that customarily these refrigerated cabinets are arranged fixed in place; given the excessive plurality of compartments which they have to store a plurality of products in their interior for this type of storage and/or display refrigerated cabinet, it is necessary to perform a rearrangement and prior study of the internal space of this refrigerated cabinet with plurality of refrigerated compartments to accomplish the relocation of the products which are being kept, already cold, inside the internal space of the refrigerated cabinet and reconfigure the arrangement of the entry of an entirely new quantity of products which are at room temperature and which are to be placed inside this internal space to be added to and chilled with those already inside it, and in general they are replaced, putting the existing colder products toward the front of the cabinet and in the upper compartments, and those entering at room temperature are placed toward the bottom of the cabinet and in the lower compartments; and even this does not solve this thermal difference because in the plurality of internal compartments the products have broad temperature differences, so that often products with extreme temperature magnitudes are mixed together for the final distribution and they also generate a substantial rise in the interior temperature of the storage and/or display refrigerated cabinet itself, once more delaying the drop in this thermal parameter inside the compartment. Or else the consumer has to make an internal search and prior reconnoitering among the plurality of compartments which hold a plurality of products with different temperatures, touching each one to determine which of the available products are the coldest, playing the part of an attendant. Or when the storage and/or display refrigerated cabinet is reloaded from the start, when this entire cabinet is empty, and with the entire plurality of products inside this conventional refrigerated cabinet, which has the effect of totally delaying the chilling of each quantity of packs or beverage containers representing various boxes of beverage containers, and the consumer ends up not taking the beverages because he does not think they are cold, or if he takes them, having paid for cold beverages, which they are not on the inside, he will have to use some other appliance after the purchase for his beverages to have the desired temperature for their consumption, and even then he will have to wait a long time for this new appliance to work, unless he has a patented V-Tex-Rapit Cool with its exceptional vortex effect, which is the maximum, or even if he has this available to him, yet there are different quantities of packs or boxes of beverages and the products need to be kept in their packs or boxes, once again the problem is not solved in the short term, since it would take time to unpack and repack them one at a time, which would be ineffective in this case.

This minimum cavetto module and portable refrigerated cabinet of a single free cold passage, very recommended for general use and made known through this document, definitively solves these problems since one part of its arrangement is configured so as to supplement the conventional storage and/or display refrigerated cabinet, giving it less area and reduced free internal space, using for this purpose a platform of sheeting with three rectangular openings which, being placed horizontally and welded to the structure of the frame at the internal midpoint of the rectangular parallelepiped cabinet, segments it proportionately on the inside, and from the platform there is situated on top a duct to the conventional compact refrigerating machine, the upper segment being a miniaturized compartment module occupied by the duct and the conventional compact refrigerating machine contained in this segment above the platform itself, the lower internal supplement being a miniaturized module of single cold passage of secluded free area and defined by means of two sheet metal supplements with curved surface which are set in and screwed to the lateral walls inside this lower module, both sides being of concave shape internally as cavetto moldings, and in the front and rear transverse openings the doors are joined to the bottom frame of the structure by means of support hinges, and at the bottom and seated on the covered base inside the cabinet is a sliding tray which is removed by means of a handle arranged on its outer side, and on top of this tray, without direct contact, covering a portion of the perimeter are arranged cross racks, spaced apart and tilted at a 45 degree inclination in the manner of a grill supported on the structure by means of bolts, forming a well defined space for the chilling of a single pack or a single box of beverage containers at a time, and where the single specific product is subjected exclusively to the influences of the cold air flow around it, thereby allowing the packaged product which is nonmoving and has a higher temperature to be quickly, individually and selectively chilled in this way, said chilling being predetermined within the temperature ranges of +25° C. to −5° C., there being no limits of a hygroscopic nature, or of air flow rate, since the product is generally properly packaged and its contents are protected or sealed away from the outside, and because the variables of these mentioned conditions do not in any way change the internal content of the product in its essence, and on the other hand the cabinet is reconfigured, giving it less surface area, enabling flexibility in this dimension, such that reduced body dimensions are used, which is positioned vertically with respect to the width of the parallelepiped and supplemented with a simple conventional rolling support structure, giving it mobility, and using for this purpose four wheels anchored at the bottom in the extremities of the quadrilateral in the base of the support.

With this solution, one is able to diminish the area and space of the single free cold passage in the cabinet and consequently one can reduce the surface inside it by adding sets of supplements, without detriment to the free cold passage, the place designed to contain temporarily and chill in individual, rapid and selective manner, continuously or discontinuously, serially or randomly, a single product, and because its single free module holds a single pack or a single box of beverage containers at a time, whose area occupies approximately a single part of the plurality of parts which other conventional storage and/or display refrigerated cabinets contain, thus gaining efficiency and rapidity of operating capacity and at the same time convenience and functionality, since the mechanism allows for quick and easy chilling of the single product, which is of a single packaged quantity, and because it is processed in this specific individuality within the minimum cavetto module portable refrigerated cabinet with a single free cold passage even with the same refrigerating power as an entire conventional storage and/or display refrigerated cabinet with a plurality of volumes of products inside it, the chilling is more rapid, shortening the time as compared to the chilling with the same power of a plurality of volumes all at once, and this the speed is improved, since by analogy: Refrigerating capacity+Thermal load at Initial temperature versus Time for Thermal load with Final temperature, for example:

Conventional storage and/or display refrigerated cabinet of/2 HP+4 boxes of beverage containers at room temperature of +35° C.=(time 1 for box 1 with final temp. of +5° C.)+(time 2 for box 2 with final temp. of +5° C.)+(time 3 for box 3 with final temp. of +5° C.)+(time 4 for box 4 with final temp. of +5° C.).

Portable minimum cavetto module refrigerated cabinet with a single free cold passage. of/2 HP+1 box of beverage containers at room temperature of +35° C.=(time 1 for box 1 with final temp. of +5° C.).

Where in this case: conventional storage and/or display refrigerated cabinet with: time 1+time 2+time 3+time 4 is not equal to the portable minimum cavetto module refrigerated cabinet with a single free cold passage with: time 1, since t1+t2+t3+t4 is greater than t1; and because with the same power at greater thermal load to overcome, it would take more time, so that in accordance with the thermal load differences handled there would be the proportionate benefit of a savings in electricity. And moreover, this proposed cabinet can operate with much lower power, handling only the needs of the moment. And thanks to these advantages, there is facilitated the individual handling, serially or randomly, continuously or discontinuously, of one product at a time, where a minimal and specific thermal load is necessarily handled, contained in a single pack or a single box of beverages to be chilled in selective manner within the portable minimum cavetto module refrigerated cabinet with a single free cold passage and consequently the sole product already cold can be consumed directly, or moved to the conventional storage and/or display refrigerated cabinet where the prevailing internal temperatures will not change too much or radically, or the product not yet sufficiently cold can be removed from the conventional storage and/or display refrigerated cabinet and placed in the portable minimum cavetto module refrigerated cabinet with a single free cold passage until it reaches the desired temperature and within the aforementioned allowable temperature ranges of between +25° C. and −5° C., and furthermore one gains in portability thanks to a smaller size and lower weight in the body of the cabinet of rectangular parallelepiped shape, making this refrigerated cabinet lighter, and because it is supplemented by a support structure of smaller footprint with wheels in its base, which means that this assembly can be portable.

One can fully appreciate the subject matter of the present invention from the following specification, illustrating the practical embodiment of same by means of the enclosed drawings, where:

FIG. 1 shows a general front lateral axonometric view not drawn to scale of the portable minimum cavetto module refrigerated cabinet with a single free cold passage according to the invention.

FIG. 2 is a perspective view, not drawn to scale, of the portable minimum cavetto module refrigerated cabinet with a single free cold passage, showing the platform of the interior compartment at the bottom.

FIG. 3 also shows in perspective view and not drawn to scale the rear part of the portable minimum cavetto module refrigerated cabinet with a single free cold passage.

The refrigerated cabinet proposed here is of conventional type and is formed by a thermally insulated cabinet space, divided into a plurality of compartments or spaces in an internal dimension, which contain, refrigerate and/or display a plurality of packs or boxes of beverage containers and having a conventional compact refrigerating machine of low power. A refrigerated cabinet of these characteristics has been supplemented in its structure with:

    • A platform (1) of sheet metal with three openings, located at the midpoint and welded in the horizontal direction to the frame structure and proportionately segmenting into two equal parts the interior of the actual cabinet structure, the upper segment forming a miniaturized module compartment (2) occupied by the conventional refrigerating machine and supplements, said platform forming at the bottom an accessible miniaturized module of a free cold passage (3) (see FIG. 1 and FIG. 2), and above the platform screwed in the form of a riser is situated the duct (4) for discharging of cold air coming from the conventional compact refrigerating machine seated on this.
    • With supplements of directionable blowing grills (5) and a conventional return grill (6) which are installed in the rectangular openings screwed into the structure of the platform and supplemented by a hinged air filter (7) placed horizontally to define at the bottom a kind of ceiling intercommunicating with the complementary segment.
    • The sole miniaturized module of one free cold passage (3) has two supplements of curved sheet metal fitted into and screwed into the lateral walls, the two lateral sides within the module (3) facing each other internally in concave manner, as a cavetto molding (8), letting it channel the mass of cold air to flow in one direction thanks to this concavity and the directional action of the grills (5), and the module has a surface of necessary and sufficient dimension to freely accommodate a single pack or one box of beverages at a time, which to form a free, small, closed and accessible compartment has been supplemented with gates (9) and (10), facing each other, having inclinations in the same direction with a 45 degree gradient, and held open in horizontal position toward the outside of the cabinet at an intermediate level of the projecting structure (11) as shown in (FIG. 3), thus forming auxiliary zones which facilitate a handling of the product, and supported in the closed gate position by a curved metal latch bar (12), which defines a parallelepiped block that is closed at the top by a platform (1), and at the bottom and supported, being seated in the covered base inside the cabinet, is a sliding tray (13), supplemented with a handle (14) in its external side, and above this tray, without direct contact, covering a portion of the area, there are arranged on its perimeter frame and bolted to the structure cross racks (15), spaced apart, with a 45 degree inclination, to enable the movement of the cold internal air beneath it and make possible its cleaning, being well defined as a delimited area of placement or passage for the chilling, without there being any disadvantage in the arrangement of such sets of components, to the detriment of the internal free surface of the single cold passage, without regard to the fact that if a plurality of specific products is introduced into the plurality of free compartments or in a broad space in the conventional storage and/or display refrigerated cabinet they take up more surface than that defined by said portable minimum cavetto module refrigerated cabinet with a single free cold passage for the purpose of chilling a single individual packaged product at a time.
    • The upper segment with miniaturized compartment module (2) occupied by the duct and by the conventional refrigerating machine normally have means in the upper part for handling the air of condensation through grills (16) and (17) fitted into and screwed to the frame, as can be seen in (FIG. 1 and FIG. 3).
    • The rectangular parallelepiped constituting the cabinet is supported by means of a structure with four profiles of equal height, placed vertically (18), where the sections are joined by transverse profiles in horizontal position (19) by welds between them, forming quadrilaterals (see FIG. 2), and supplemented at the ends of the lower level base of the quadrilateral profile by four conventional wheels (20), allowing these rolling bearings to be elements which guarantee the displacement on floor level, providing it with portability, the profiles of the structure face each other overlapping, forming parallel straight lines, where the upper pieces of the structures are created in the shape of an “L”, closing the internal edges by the 90° development of the profiles, which makes it possible to introduce rails inside them in addition to the cabinet formed in rectangular parallelepiped shape which is seated on top of the support structure in vertical position with respect to the base of this support and it is located at the midpoint as a point of union with the parallel structure, forming a single slender external body with increase in vertical height of greater length than the lateral sides and now self-supported mutually to facilitate its autonomy and thus meet the specific needs of the consumers.

It is not considered necessary to provide a more extensive description so that any person skilled in the field will understand the actual scope of this invention and the advantages which result from it, given the features mentioned in the essential characteristics of the invention, which are claimed hereafter:

And inasmuch as, in accordance with this new internal configuration of the refrigerated cabinet now with a single free cavity and accessible transverse gates, where a single volume of product is handled at a time, which gives as a practical result the advantage of rapid chilling in this single cavity, which unlike conventional cabinets the chilling time takes longer due to handling a plurality of volumes of products at a time.

    • What problem does it solve?
    • Specifically in beverage distribution places

1. The rapid and selective chilling of each pack or each box of beverages at a time

2. Mixture of products with different temperatures inside the conventional storage and/or display refrigerated cabinet

3. Considerable increase in the internal temperature of the conventional storage and/or display refrigerated cabinet, which because of introducing the plurality of volumes of beverages entering at room temperature causes an exponential increase in this thermal parameter, slowing down the chilling.
