The embodiments herein disclose a personal portable exercising device for upper as well as lower body part exercises comprising a base board, a plurality of stretchable chords, a holding strip and a secondary base. The base board comprises a primary set of holes and a secondary set of holes. The base board further comprises a set of casing for placing a user's feet. The plurality of stretchable chords is attached to the secondary set of holes. The holding strip is attached to the primary set of holes. The secondary base is attached to the stretchable chords. At-least one shoe is connected to the secondary base further connected to the base board through the stretchable chords. The base board is held firmly against a stable and heavy object through the holding strip. The user place at-least one foot or hand into the shoe attached to the secondary base for exercising.

Description
BACKGROUND Technical Field of Invention

The embodiments herein generally relate to a personal utility device and particularly relate to a portable personal exercising device for upper as well as lower body.

DESCRIPTION OF RELATED ART

Physical exercise is any bodily activity that enhances or maintains physical fitness and overall health and wellness. It is performed for various reasons including strengthening muscles and the cardiovascular system, honing athletic skills, weight loss or maintenance, and also for mere enjoyment. The frequent and regular physical exercise boosts the immune system and helps prevent the “diseases of affluence” such as heart disease, cardiovascular disease, Type 2 diabetes, and obesity. Now-a-days various exercising equipments are in the market for various body parts but most of these equipment are not portable enough for an exerciser to carry it over long distances.

One of the prior arts discloses a portable personal exercise system comprising a portable personal exercise device including a cylindrical pipe or stick and a closed elastic loop. The closed loop is a latex resistance cord, which can slide freely through the cylindrical pipe. The resistance cord may be adapted and/or enabled to be attached to a user's foot or ankle via an attachment component. The portable personal exercise system advantageously allows the user to train in an upright posture with free transfer of weight from limb to limb.

Another prior art discloses a portable exercise machine having a base, a capstan rotatively mounted within the base, an elongated cable wrapped about the capstan and trained about guides towards opposite ends of the base with end portions of the cable extending beyond the base, handles attached to the end portions of the cable for drawing the cable back and forth through the base and thereby rotating the capstan, and means for resisting rotation of the capstan. The handles have frames with reels rotatively mounted on the frames and the end portions of the cable being wound about the reels, springs for rotating the reels to wind the end portions of the cable onto the reels, first grips connected to the reels and adapted to be grasped by the hands of an exerciser to prevent rotation of the reels and second grips connected to the frames and adapted to be engaged by the hands of the exerciser for moving the handles without inhibiting rotation of the reels.

However, the conventional portable exercising devices provide an exercise for either an upper or a lower body part. Further the number of exercises is limited also cumbersome in nature.

In the view of the foregoing, there is a need for a portable exercising device to facilitate an exercise for both upper and lower body parts. Also there is a need for a portable exercising device comprising an assembly which is easy to use.

The above mentioned shortcomings, disadvantages and problems are addressed herein, as detailed below.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary object of the embodiments herein is to provide a personal portable exercising device with least complex assembly.

Another object of the embodiments herein is to provide a personal portable exercising device to promote an upper body as well as lower body exercises using a single device.

Yet another object of the embodiments herein is to provide a personal portable device with enablement of performing simple as well as rigorous muscular exercises.

The embodiments herein provide a personal portable exercising device for upper as well as lower body part exercises. The device comprises a base board. The base board comprises a plurality of primary set of holes and a plurality of secondary set of holes. The base board further comprises a set of casing for placing a user's feet.

The device further comprises a secondary base. The secondary base is connected with the base board with the help of a plurality of stretchable chords. The plurality of stretchable chords is fixedly connected with the secondary set of holes from one end. The plurality of stretchable chords is fixedly connected with the secondary base from another end.

The device further comprises a holding strip. The holding strip is fixedly connected with the primary set of holes from one end. The holding strip is fixedly connected with the base board from another end.

The device further comprises at-least one shoe which is fixed to the secondary base. The base board is tied firmly against a stable and a heavy object through the holding strip. The user places at-least one foot or at least one hand into the shoe attached to the secondary base while exercising.

The length of the holding strip is adjustable through a belt-type arrangement. The holding strip holds the base board from a rear side to avoid a vibration or deviation during an exercise.

The stretchable chords provide stretching of at-least one hand or at least one foot in variable angles.

The heavy and stable object is selected from the group consisting of a bed, a sofa, a dining table, a refrigerator stand, a chair, a study table, a conference table and a computer table.

The stretchable chords are attached with a handle for upper body exercises.

The thickness of the stretchable chords is varied as per the nature of an exercise. The stretchable chord with higher thickness offers a high resistance suitable for heavy exercises. The stretchable chord with lower thickness offers a lower resistance suitable for light exercises.

The base board is made up of a material selected from the group consisting of a wood, a plastic, a metal, an alloy or a heavy polymer.

The base board houses a display connected to an electronic counter, a weight keypad and a resistance detector. The weight keypad allows a user to feed a weight at a beginning of an exercise.

The electronic counter measures the number of stretches and is connected with micro-switches. The micro-switches are placed in the secondary set of holes and are activated during a stretch done by a user. The display shows the number of times a stretch is done during an exercise.

The resistance detector measures a time of complete stretch and detects a resistance and an equivalent weight comparable to the resistance. The weight equivalent to the resistance is shown over the display allowing the user to change the stretchable chords in order to achieve required resistance.

These and other aspects of the embodiments herein will be better appreciated and understood when considered in conjunction with the following description and the accompanying drawings. It should be understood, however, that the following descriptions, while indicating preferred embodiments and numerous specific details thereof, are given by way of illustration and not of limitation. Many changes and modifications may be made within the scope of the embodiments herein without departing from the spirit thereof, and the embodiments herein include all such modifications.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

In the following detailed description, a reference is made to the accompanying drawings that form a part hereof, and in which the specific embodiments that may be practiced is shown by way of illustration. The embodiments are described in sufficient detail to enable those skilled in the art to practice the embodiments and it is to be understood that the logical, mechanical and other changes may be made without departing from the scope of the embodiments. The following detailed description is therefore not to be taken in a limiting sense.

The various embodiments herein disclose a personal portable exercising device for upper as well as lower body parts exercising. The device comprises a base board, a plurality of stretchable chords, a holding strip and a secondary base. The base board comprises a primary set of holes and a secondary set of holes. The base board further comprises a set of casing for placing a user's feet. The plurality of stretchable chords is attached to the secondary set of holes. The holding strip is attached to the primary set of holes. The secondary base is attached to the stretchable chords. At-least one shoe is connected to the secondary base further connected to the base board through the stretchable chords. The base board is held firmly against a stable and heavy object through the holding strip. The user place at-least one foot or hand into the shoe attached to the secondary base for exercising.

According to an embodiment herein, a length of the holding strip is adjustable through a belt-type arrangement. The holding strip holds the base board from a rear side to avoid a vibration or deviation during an exercise.

According to an embodiment herein, the stretchable chords provide stretching of at-least one hand or foot in variable angles for exercising various parts of the upper and lower body.

According to an embodiment herein, the heavy and stable object comprises a group of an in-premise goods comprising a bed, a sofa, a dining table, a refrigerator stand, a chair, a study table, a conference table and a computer table.

According to an embodiment herein, the stretchable chords are attached with a handle for upper body exercises.

According to an embodiment herein, a thickness of the stretchable chords is varied as per the nature of exercises. The stretchable chord with higher thickness offers high resistance suitable for heavy exercises while the stretchable chord with lower thickness offers a lower resistance suitable for light exercises.

According to an embodiment herein, the base board is made up of a wood or a plastic or a metal or an alloy or a heavy polymer.

According to an embodiment herein, the base board houses a display connected to an electronic counter, a weight keypad and a resistance detector.

According to an embodiment herein, the weight keypad allows a user to feed a weight at a beginning of an exercise.

According to an embodiment herein, the electronic counter measures the number of stretches and is connected with micro-switches. The micro-switches are place in the secondary set of holes and are activated during a stretch done by the user through at-least one hand or foot. The display shows the number of times a stretch is done during an exercise.

According to an embodiment herein, the resistance detector measures the time of complete stretch and thus detects a resistance and an equivalent weight comparable to the resistance. The weight equivalent to the resistance is shown over the display allowing the user to change the stretchable chords in order to achieve required resistance.

FIG. 1 illustrates a perspective view of the personal portable exercising device when tied around a horizontal surface, according to one embodiment herein. With respect to FIG. 1, the device 100 comprises a base board 101, a plurality of stretchable chords 102, a holding strip 103 and a secondary base 104. The base board 101 further comprises a primary set of holes 105 and a secondary set of holes 106. The base board 101 is connected with the secondary base 104 with the help of chords 102. The plurality of stretchable chords 102 is fixedly connected with the secondary set of holes 106 while the holding strip 103 is fixedly connected with the primary set of holes 105. The holding strip 103 is used to tie the device to any horizontal firm surface. The holding strip 103 is in the form of stretchable or extendable belts which can be interlocked. The base board 101 is held firmly against a stable and heavy object through the holding strip 103.

The base board 101 further comprises a set of casing 107 for placing a user's feet. The casing 107 is at least two in number. The casing 107 is in the shape of feet of a human for providing a comfortable placement of the feet. At-least one shoe is connected to the secondary base 104 further connected to the base board 101 through the stretchable chords 102. The user places at-least one foot or hand into the shoe attached to the secondary base 104 for exercising.

FIG. 2 illustrates the personal portable exerciser device attached with a user's shoe for lower body exercises, according to one embodiment herein. With respect to FIG. 2, the shoe 201 is attached to the secondary base 104 through a set of straps 202. The user adds an extra secondary base 104 through the additional stretchable chords 102 attached to the remaining secondary set of holes. Thus the user is allowed to perform an exercise for one leg as well as for both legs. The user places one foot in the casing 107 provided on the base board 101 while stretching one leg in a perpendicular or a lateral direction.

FIG. 3a illustrates a top perspective view of the personal portable exerciser device without the holding strip and the stretchable chords, according to one embodiment herein. With respect to FIG. 3a, the primary set of holes 105 and the secondary set of holes 106 as well as each casing 107 for feet are symmetrically placed in the base board 101 with respect to a central axis 301 of the base board 101. The symmetrical placement offers a balanced resistance during an exercise to facilitate optimum exercising experience.

FIG. 3b illustrates an enlarged view of placement of single holding strip and the stretchable chords, according to one embodiment herein. With respect to FIG. 3b, the single holding strip 103 is tightened against a feet of the heavy in-premise equipment. The placement of the secondary set of holes 106 is in a triangular manner to allow a stable resistance.

FIG. 3c illustrates a side view of the personal portable device, according to one embodiment herein. With respect to FIG. 3c, the base board 101 and the holes can be seen.

FIG. 4 illustrates the personal portable device with twin holding strip, according to one embodiment herein. With respect to FIG. 4, the twin holding strips 103 firmly secures the base board 101 against an in-premise goods.

The base board 101 has a shape selected from the group consisting of round, oval or square shape. The base board 101 has at least six spots for attachment of the stretchable chords. The stretchable chords 102 are in the form of bungee cords or a spring or other materials that create resistance. The base board 101 is secured to an end of a bed or placed on the ground. The user places his foot over the secondary base 104 for a lower body exercise or holds the same by hand for upper body exercises. One end of the stretchable cords or springs 102 are attached to the base board 101 and the other end to the secondary base 104.

The user can also attach two secondary bases for feet or both hands, according to an embodiment herein. The user ties one or feet in the secondary bases with a belt. The user then lies down and use feet together or separately to pull up against resistant for lower body exercises. For upper body exercises, the user places his shoulder on the base board and use his arm muscles to pull the smaller base or the secondary base in different angles or directions. The base board can be folded to make it smaller while carrying.

The base board additionally comprises a vacuum cups made of elastomeric materials. The vacuum cups secure the base board to the floor by creating vacuum under it. The base board is then attached with a pair of shoes or sandals through the stretchable chords, springs or other stretchable materials.

The stretchable chord is at least one in number. The stretchable chord is three, two or just one in number for each shoe. If only one chord is used, then the position of the stretchable chord is nearer to the centre of the base board.

A most preferred exercising position for using the said device is to lay down on the back, stretch both legs and secure both foot in the pair of sandals or shoes. The sandal or shoe is stretchable and adjustable in nature. By pulling both legs up together, the legs' and core muscles' exercises are done. The further modifications in the exercise are done by pulling both legs in different angles. Moreover, single leg is moved against a resistance while the second leg is firmed to the base board. For upper body exercises, the user sits or stands on top of the base board to secure the base board on the ground and use both arms to pull the stretchable cords against the resistant.

The present personal exercise device allows a user to carry the device to any place and perform exercises in any circumstances. The present exercising device allows a user to perform both upper and lower body exercises effectively. The present exercise device further allows a user of any age group to learn exercising using the present exercise device due to a least complex assembly.

It is to be understood that the phraseology or terminology employed herein is for the purpose of description and not of limitation. Therefore, while the embodiments herein have been described in terms of preferred embodiments, those skilled in the art will recognize that the embodiments herein can be practiced with modification within the spirit and scope of the claims.

Claims

1. A personal portable exercising device for upper as well as lower body part exercises, the device comprises:

a base board, wherein the base board comprises a plurality of primary set of holes and a plurality of secondary set of holes, wherein the base board further comprises a set of casing for placing a user's feet;
a secondary base, wherein the secondary base is connected with the base board with the help of a plurality of stretchable chords, wherein the plurality of stretchable chords is fixedly connected with the secondary set of holes from one end and with the secondary base from another end;
a holding strip, wherein the holding strip is fixedly connected with the primary set of holes from one end and with the base board from another end;
wherein at-least one shoe is fixed to the secondary base, wherein the base board is tied firmly against a stable and heavy object through the holding strip, wherein the user places at-least one foot or at least one hand into the shoe attached to the secondary base while exercising.

2. The device according to claim 1, wherein a length of the holding strip is adjustable through a belt-type arrangement, wherein the holding strip holds the base board from a rear side to avoid a vibration or deviation during an exercise.

3. The device according to claim 1, wherein the stretchable chords provide stretching of at-least one hand or at least one foot in variable angles.

4. The device according to claim 1, wherein the heavy and stable object is selected from the group consisting of a bed, a sofa, a dining table, a refrigerator stand, a chair, a study table, a conference table and a computer table.

5. The device according to claim 1, wherein the stretchable chords are attached with a handle for upper body exercises.

The device according to claim 1, wherein a thickness of the stretchable chords is varied as per the nature of an exercise, wherein the stretchable chord with higher thickness offers a high resistance suitable for heavy exercises, wherein the stretchable chord with lower thickness offers a lower resistance suitable for light exercises.

7. The device according to claim 1, wherein the base board is made up of a material selected from the group consisting of a wood, a plastic, a metal, an alloy or a heavy polymer.

8. The device according to claim 1, wherein the base board houses a display connected to an electronic counter, a weight keypad and a resistance detector, wherein the weight keypad allows a user to feed a weight at a beginning of an exercise.

The device according to claim 8, wherein the electronic counter measures the number of stretches and is connected with micro-switches, wherein the micro-switches are placed in the secondary set of holes and are activated during a stretch done by a user, wherein the display shows the number of times a stretch is done during an exercise.

The device according to claim 8, wherein the resistance detector measures a time of complete stretch and detects a resistance and an equivalent weight comparable to the resistance, wherein the weight equivalent to the resistance is shown over the display allowing the user to change the stretchable chords in order to achieve required resistance.
