CHIN-UP EXERCISE MECHANISM FOR INCLINED BODY
Disclosed is a chin-up exercise mechanism having a special structure with which a user can do chin-up exercises by grasping a gripping rod formed on an upper part of an upper body, in a state in which the back of the user leans against roller members formed on a body that forms a predetermined angle with a horizontal surface, wherein the direction in which force is exerted on the arms is different from the direction in which the body of the user moves.
The present invention relates to a mechanism which allows a user to easily do a chin-up exercise.
BACKGROUND ARTIt has been known that waist diseases are confined only to old people in the past. However, modern people complain of waist ache due to the use of various electronic devices and improper life style, regardless of gender and age.
A scoliosis is a representative example of the waist disease. The scoliosis means that the spine is curved to the right or left. The scoliosis is caused by convex abdomen due to obesity or incorrect study posture or working posture.
Besides, many people complain of the waist ache by a variety of causes. As one of methods for solving this problem, various physical exercises of straightening the spine are recommended. A chin-up exercise is one of physical exercises of vertically expanding the body. Through the chin-up exercise, body muscles can be uniformly used and whole body balance can be maintained.
In a school playground and physical fitness center, a horizontal bar for the chin-up exercise is generally installed. The chin-up exercise is very good for improving body muscular strength. However, the body should be lift up only by the strength of the arm, so that there are few people who can repeatedly do the chip-up exercise with ease. Just a few chin-ups are not enough to strengthen the muscular strength.
A general horizontal bar installed in the school playground is just provided and there are few people who use the horizontal bar. In consideration of the condition, the present invention provides a mechanism allowing men, women, old and young people who have weak muscular strength to easily do the chin-up exercise.
Meanwhile, with the escape from a prejudice that the horizontal bar for the chin-up exercise should be installed only outdoors, the present invention provides a mechanism which is installed indoors such as at home or in an office in a simple manner and usually helps the improvement of health through the chin-up exercise.
DISCLOSURE Technical ProblemThe present invention provides a chin-up exercise mechanism which allows a user to easily do a chin-up exercise by grasping a gripping rod formed on the upper portion of the body of the mechanism with the user's back leaning against a plurality of roller members formed between the parallel bodies inclined to form a predetermined angle with a horizontal surface.
Also, the present invention provides the chin-up mechanism which prevents the upper portion of the head of the user from knocking on the gripping rod when the user pulls the gripping rod with his/her hands.
Technical SolutionThe present invention provides a chin-up exercise mechanism including:
a base member 150 on the lower portion thereof;
a pair of parallel bodies 100 and 101 which is formed upward on one side of the base member and has a curved line having a predetermined inclination;
a support 140 which is formed upward from the base member and is coupled to the bodies so as to support the rears of the bodies; and
a horizontal pipe-shaped gripping rod 200 which is connected to the upper portions of the bodies and is formed to be spaced from a surface formed by the bodies.
Advantageous EffectsAccording to the chin-up exercise based on the embodiment of the present invention, when the user pulls the gripping rod in a state where the user lies in an inclined manner with his/her back leaning against the roller members, the user can do the chin-up exercise very easily and can use the chin-up exercise mechanism indoors as well as outdoors conveniently. Consequently, this is beneficial to health enhancement.
The best mode for the embodiment of the present invention is as follows.
The present invention provides a chin-up exercise mechanism including:
a base member 150 on the lower portion thereof;
a pair of parallel bodies 100 and 101 which is formed upward on one side of the base member and has a predetermined inclination;
a back support member 600 which is formed in a space between the bodies and allows a user to lean his/her back thereagainst;
a support 140 which is formed upward from the base member and is coupled to the bodies so as to support the rears of the bodies; and
a horizontal pipe-shaped gripping rod 200 which is connected to the upper portions of the bodies and is formed to be spaced from a surface formed by the bodies.
The back support member 600 may include a plurality of roller axes 620 formed in the space between the bodies and includes a roller member 620 which is inserted and fitted to the roller axis and is rotatable.
The bodies and the gripping rod are connected to each other by U-shaped gripping rod connectors 210 and 211, so that the user's head moves up and down through the U-shaped inner space.
MODE FOR INVENTIONHereafter, the embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
However, the scope of the present invention is not limited to the embodiment and should be construed within a scope equivalent to the claims of the present invention.
As described above, the conventional chip-up exercise is very hard for a person who has insufficient arm muscular strength. This is a main cause that the conventional chip-up exercise cannot settle down as one of life sports.
As shown in
It is recommended that the body should be formed in the form of a pipe. The body may have a straight line shape, a curved line shape or a combination of the straight and curved lines.
Since the body is inclined, a support 140 supporting the body is formed at the rear of the body 100. The support and body may be formed in one body.
The inclined body preferably includes two parallel pipes 100 and 101.
A roller member 600, i.e., a member for supporting the user's back is formed in a space between the pipe-shaped bodies 100 and 101. Since the roller freely rotates about a roller axis 620, the roller is an appropriate means for allowing the user to easily move his/her body with his/her body leaning against the roller.
A plate-shaped member or any member having a low friction force can be used as the back support member.
A means for acupressure may be added to the surface of the roller member and a cushion means may be also formed on the roller member.
The user does the chip-up exercise by grasping the gripping rod 200 with his/her back leaning against the roller member, and then by pulling his/her body upward from the roller member through use of the strength of the user's arm.
The roller members 600 are inserted and fitted to a plurality of the roller axes 620 formed parallel with each other from the bottom to the top of the body. The shape and size of the roller member can be variously applied.
It is recommended that the roller member should be installed from about 50 cm to about 2.5 meters from the ground. However, a very small roller member can be manufactured for infants and a position where the roller member is installed can be variously changed.
Meanwhile, a foot plate 500 may be formed under the bottom roller member. The user can stand up on the foot plate. The foot plate is very useful for the user to do a stand up-sit down exercise as shown in
It is recommended that the foot plate should have a hinge structure on one side thereof such that the foot plate 500 is folded as shown in
U-shaped gripping rod connectors 210 and 211 are formed on the top portion of the body 100. The straight line shaped gripping rod 200 is formed on the ends of the gripping rod connectors 210 and 211 and connects the ends of the gripping rod connectors 210 and 211.
The rod of a general horizontal bar which corresponds to the gripping rod is directly connected to a horizontal bar pole. However, in the chin-up exercise mechanism of the present invention, the gripping rod which is grasped by hands is separated by an interval “E” (
Strictly speaking, the present invention provides a new mechanism for strengthening the muscular strength of whole body by using the strength of arms rather than provides the “chin-up exercise mechanism”.

In
The sections A and B are inclined as a whole and may have a straight line or a slight curvature.
In the meantime, regarding the angle formed between the user's body and the horizontal surface in the state of
It is possible for a skilled person in the art to install a joint 310 on the rear portion of the base member 150 and then to allow the support 140 to be pivoted.
Also, it is possible to further form a member (not shown) which prevents the support from being pushed rearward by coupling the bodies 100 and 101 to a body connector 145. For example, a ring member (not shown) which surrounds the support 140 and the roller axis 620 at a time and unites them may be included.
A joint 300 is also formed on the front of the base member 150, so that the inclinations of the bodies 100 and 101 can be controlled. The inclination can be appropriately selected by considering the muscular strength, height, weight of the user and the like.
It can be also considered that metal, wood, plastic and other materials are used as the material constituting the mechanism of the present invention in appropriate response to the installation condition of the mechanism.
