Convertible swimsuit includes top with left and right cups, pair of first integrated loops each disposed at first end of left and right cups, and pair of second integrated loops each disposed at second end of left and right cups for receiving longitudinal strap such that left and right cups are adjacent to each other at middle section of second end. Pair of top rings disposed in pair of first integrated loops at first end of left and right cups, and detachable top strap secured to each top ring at first end of left and right cups. Bottom includes front and rear panel and pair of third and fourth integrated loops each disposed at opposing sides of front and rear panel. First and second pairs of bottom rings are disposed in pairs of third and fourth integrated loops. Detachable bottom strap is secured to each bottom ring at opposing sides of front and rear panel and tied together at each side.

TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention relates to the field of swimsuits, and more particularly, to women's bikinis having a convertible top with detachable straps for both top and bottom, and a method for assembling same, in creating multiple styles for a wearer.

BACKGROUND

Conventional swimsuits are disadvantageous in that such swimsuits are typically limited to a particular style and cannot be changed after purchase by the wearer. If styles should change, the fashion conscious wearer is typically left with no other choice but to purchase a new swimsuit in the latest desired style. In addition, the wearer who is a busy traveler has to pack multiple swimsuits for her trip as conventional swimsuits are generally limited to one style and lack the ability to be transformed into multiple styles. Further, swimsuits with interchangeable components are not pleasing to the wearer as they often include a separable portion at the crotch region of the swimsuit bottom that can become separated during wear and interconnecting elements that protrude into the wearer's body.

It would thus be desirable to have an improved swimsuit with a convertible feature and a method for assembling same, among other desirable features as described herein, in creating multiple styles for the wearer while avoiding the disadvantages of the known swimwear.

SUMMARY

In a first aspect, there is provided herein a convertible swimsuit including a top having a left cup and right cup positioned on a wearer's breasts, a pair of first integrated loops each disposed at a first end of the left cup and right cup, and a pair of second integrated loops each disposed at a second end of the left cup and right cup for slidably receiving a longitudinal strap such that the left cup and right cup are adjacent to each other at a middle section of the second end. A pair of top rings is slidably disposed in the pair of first integrated loops at the first end of the left cup and right cup. At least one detachable top strap is secured to each top ring at the first end of the left cup and right cup. The convertible swimsuit further includes a bottom having a front panel and rear panel configured to be one continuous piece, a pair of third integrated loops each disposed at opposing sides of the front panel, and a pair of fourth integrated loops each disposed at opposing sides of the rear panel. A first pair of bottom rings is slidably disposed in the pair of third integrated loops at opposing sides of the front panel. A second pair of bottom rings is slidably disposed in the pair of fourth integrated loops at opposing sides of the rear panel. At least one detachable bottom strap is secured to each bottom ring at opposing sides of the front panel and rear panel. The detachable bottom straps are tied together at each side in forming the bottom.

In certain embodiments, the top is convertible into an alternative top by removing one of the top rings at the first end of the left cup and right cup and the at least one detachable top strap from the remaining top ring and joining the first end together with the remaining top ring and pulling the longitudinal strap in an outward direction at the middle section such that the longitudinal strap is disposed around the wearer's neck and opposing ends of the longitudinal strap are secured together around the wearer's back.

In certain embodiments, the top is a triangle bikini top and the alternative top is a bandeau bikini top.

In certain embodiments, at least one strand of jewelry may be releasably attached to at least one of the pair of top rings or at least one of the first and second pair of the bottom rings or a combination thereof.

In certain embodiments, the left cup and the right cup of the top are non-interchangeable and uniform in appearance.

In certain embodiments, the front panel and the right panel of the bottom are non-interchangeable and uniform in appearance.

In certain embodiments, the top and bottom rings are uniform in appearance.

In certain embodiments, the top rings are configured to open when being positioned in the pair of first integrated loops each disposed at the first end of the left cup and right cup of the top.

In certain embodiments, the bottom rings are configured to open when being positioned in the third and fourth integrated loops disposed at opposing sides of the front panel and rear panel of the bottom.

In certain embodiments, the at least one detachable top strap is secured to each top ring at the first end of the left cup and right cup by being knotted or looped around each top ring such that the detachable top straps are tied together at an opposite end in forming neck straps of the top.

In certain embodiments, the at least one detachable bottom strap is secured to each bottom ring at opposing sides of the front panel and rear panel by being knotted or looped around each bottom ring such that the detachable bottom straps are tied together at each side in forming the bottom.

In certain embodiments, the at least one detachable bottom strap may be a jewelry strand.

In a second aspect, there is provided herein a convertible swimsuit including a top having a non-interchangeable left cup and right cup positioned on a wearer's breasts, a pair of first integrated loops each disposed at a first end of the left cup and right cup, and a pair of second integrated loops each disposed at a second end of the left cup and right cup for slidably receiving a longitudinal strap such that the strap is positioned around the wearer's neck. At least one top ring is slidably disposed in the pair of first integrated loops such that the left cup and right cup are joined together at a middle section of the first end. The convertible swimsuit further includes a bottom having a non-interchangeable front panel and rear panel configured to be one continuous piece, a pair of third integrated loops each disposed at opposing sides of the front panel, and a pair of fourth integrated loops each disposed at opposing sides of the rear panel. A first pair of bottom rings is slidably disposed in the pair of third integrated loops at opposing sides of the front panel. A second pair of bottom rings is slidably disposed in the pair of fourth integrated loops at opposing sides of the rear panel. At least one detachable bottom strap is secured to each bottom ring at opposing sides of the front panel and rear panel. The detachable bottom straps are tied together at each side in forming the bottom.

In certain embodiments, the top is convertible into an alternative top by removing the at least one top ring from one of the first integrated loops such that the left cup and right cup are unjoined at the middle section of the first end. At least one top ring is added into the first integrated loop such that at least one detachable top strap is secured to each top ring at the first end of the left cup and right cup. The left cup and the right cup are positioned adjacent to each other at a middle section of the second end on the longitudinal strap such that opposing ends of the longitudinal strap are tied together around the wearer's back.

In certain embodiments, the top is a bandeau bikini top and the alternative top is a triangle bikini top.

In certain embodiments, at least one strand of jewelry may be releasably attached to the at least one top ring or at least one of the first and second pair of bottom rings or a combination thereof.

In certain embodiments, the at least one detachable bottom strap may be a jewelry strand.

In a third aspect, there is provided herein a method for assembling a convertible swimsuit including: providing a top having a left cup and right cup positioned on a wearer's breasts, a pair of first integrated loops each disposed at a first end of the left cup and right cup, and a pair of second integrated loops each disposed at a second end of the left cup and right cup for slidably receiving a longitudinal strap such that the left cup and right cup are adjacent to each other at a middle section of the second end; providing a pair of top rings configured to be slidably disposed in the pair of first integrated loops at the first end of the left cup and right cup; securing at least one detachable top strap to each top ring at the first end of the left cup and right cup; providing a bottom having a front panel and rear panel configured to be one continuous piece, a pair of third integrated loops each disposed at opposing sides of the front panel, and a pair of fourth integrated loops each disposed at opposing sides of the rear panel; providing a first pair of bottom rings configured to be slidably disposed in the pair of third integrated loops at opposing sides of the front panel; providing a second pair of bottom rings configured to be slidably disposed in the pair of fourth integrated loops at opposing sides of the rear panel; securing at least one detachable bottom strap to each bottom ring at opposing sides of the front panel and rear panel; and tying the detachable bottom straps together at each side in forming the bottom.

In certain embodiments, the method further includes: converting the top into an alternative top by removing one of the top rings at the first end of the left cup and right cup; joining the first end together with the remaining top ring; removing the at least one detachable top strap from the remaining top ring; pulling the longitudinal strap in an outward direction at the middle section such that the longitudinal strap is disposed around the wearer's neck; and securing opposing ends of the longitudinal strap together around the wearer's back.

In certain embodiments, the step of converting the top into an alternative top includes converting a triangle bikini top into a bandeau bikini top.

In certain embodiments, the method further includes releasably attaching at least one strand of jewelry to at least one of the pair of top rings or at least one of the first and second pair of the bottom rings or a combination thereof.

In a fourth aspect, there is provided herein a method for assembling a convertible swimsuit including: providing a top having a non-interchangeable left cup and right cup positioned on a wearer's breasts, a pair of first integrated loops each disposed at a first end of the left cup and right cup, and a pair of second integrated loops each disposed at a second end of the left cup and right cup for slidably receiving a longitudinal strap such that the strap is positioned around the wearer's neck; providing at least one top ring configured to be slidably disposed in the pair of first integrated loops; joining the left cup and the right cup together at a middle section of the first end with the at least one top ring; providing a bottom having a non-interchangeable front panel and rear panel configured to be one continuous piece, a pair of third integrated loops each disposed at opposing sides of the front panel, and a pair of fourth integrated loops each disposed at opposing sides of the rear panel; providing a first pair of bottom rings configured to be slidably disposed in the pair of third integrated loops at opposing sides of the front panel; providing a second pair of bottom rings configured to be slidably disposed in the pair of fourth integrated loops at opposing sides of the rear panel; securing at least one detachable bottom strap to each bottom ring at opposing sides of the front panel and rear panel; and tying the detachable bottom straps together at each side in forming the bottom.

In certain embodiments, the method further includes: converting the top into an alternative top by removing the at least one top ring from one of the first integrated loops; unjoining the left cup and the right cup at the middle section of the first end; adding at least one top ring into the first integrated loop; securing at least one detachable strap to each top ring at the first end of the left cup and the right cup; positioning the left cup and the right cup adjacent to each other at a middle section of the second end on the longitudinal strap; and tying opposing ends of the longitudinal strap together around the wearer's back.

In certain embodiments, the step of converting the top into an alternative top includes converting a bandeau bikini top into a triangle bikini top.

In certain embodiments, the method further includes releasably attaching at least one strand of jewelry to the at least one top ring or at least one of the first and second pair of bottom rings or a combination thereof.

As used in this document, the singular forms “a,” “an,” and “the” include plural reference unless the context clearly dictates otherwise. Unless defined otherwise, all technical and scientific terms used herein have the same meanings as commonly understood by one of ordinary skill in the art. All publications mentioned in this document are incorporated by reference. All sizes recited in this document are by way of example only, and the invention is not limited to convertible swimsuits having the specific sizes or dimensions recited below. The present disclosure pertains to an improved swimsuit, namely, a women's bikini, having a convertible top with detachable straps for both top and bottom and a method for assembling same in creating multiple styles for a wearer, among other desirable features as described herein.

Referring now to FIG. 1 is a perspective view of an exemplary embodiment of a convertible swimsuit 10, according to the present disclosure, shown on a wearer 12. The convertible swimsuit 10 includes a top 14 having a left cup 16 and right cup 18 positioned on a wearer's breasts 12, a pair of first integrated loops 20 each disposed at a first end 22 of the left cup 16 and right cup 18, and a pair of second integrated loops 24 each disposed at a second end 26 of the left cup 16 and right cup 18 for slidably receiving a longitudinal strap 28 such that the left cup 16 and right 18 cup are adjacent to each other at a middle section 30 of the second end 26. A pair of top rings 32 is slidably disposed in the pair of first integrated loops 20 at the first end 22 of the left cup 16 and right cup 18. At least one detachable top strap 33 is secured to each top ring 32 at the first end 22 of the left cup 16 and right cup 18.

The convertible swimsuit 10 further includes a bottom 34 having a front panel 36 and rear panel 38 (FIGS. 12-13) configured to be one continuous piece, a pair of third integrated loops 40 each disposed at opposing sides 42 of the front panel 36, and a pair of fourth integrated loops 44 each disposed at opposing sides 46 of the rear panel 38. A first pair of bottom rings 48 is slidably disposed in the pair of third integrated loops 40 at opposing sides 42 of the front panel 36. A second pair of bottom rings 50 (FIGS. 12-13) is slidably disposed in the pair of fourth integrated loops 44 at opposing sides 46 of the rear panel 38. At least one detachable bottom strap 52 is secured to each bottom ring 48, 50 at opposing sides 42, 46 of the front panel 36 and rear panel 38 (FIGS. 12-13). The detachable bottom straps 52 are tied together at each side in forming the bottom 34.

FIG. 2 is a front perspective view of an exemplary embodiment of the convertible swimsuit 10 of FIG. 1, assembled into a triangle bikini top, according to the present disclosure, shown on a wearer 12. In some embodiments, the left cup 16 and right cup 18 of the top 14 are non-interchangeable and uniform in appearance such that the same fabric, material or textile pattern or print is used for each cup 16, 18. In some embodiments, the front panel 36 and rear panel 38 (FIGS. 12-13) of the bottom 34 are non-interchangeable and uniform in appearance such that the same fabric, material or textile pattern or print is used for each panel 36, 38.

FIG. 3 is a front perspective view of an alternative embodiment of the convertible swimsuit 10 of FIG. 2, assembled into a bandeau bikini top, according to the present disclosure, shown on a wearer 12. The convertible swimsuit 10 includes a top 54 having a non-interchangeable left cup 18 and right cup 16 positioned on a wearer's breasts, a pair of first integrated loops 20 each disposed at a first end 22 of the left cup 18 and right cup 16, and a pair of second integrated loops 24 each disposed at a second end 26 of the left cup 18 and right cup 16 for slidably receiving a longitudinal strap 28 such that the strap is positioned around the wearer's neck 12. At least one top ring 32 is slidably disposed in the pair of first integrated loops 20 such that the left cup 18 and right cup 16 are joined together at a middle section 35 of the first end 22.

The convertible swimsuit 10 further includes a bottom 34 having a front panel 36 and rear panel 38 (FIGS. 12-13) configured to be one continuous piece, a pair of third integrated loops 40 each disposed at opposing sides 42 of the front panel 36, and a pair of fourth integrated loops 44 each disposed at opposing sides 46 of the rear panel 38. A first pair of bottom rings 48 is slidably disposed in the pair of third integrated loops 40 at opposing sides 42 of the front panel 36. A second pair of bottom rings 50 (FIGS. 12-13) is slidably disposed in the pair of fourth integrated loops 44 at opposing sides 46 of the rear panel 38. At least one detachable bottom strap 52 is secured to each bottom ring 48, 50 at opposing sides 42, 46 of the front panel 36 and rear panel 38 (FIGS. 12-13). The detachable bottom straps 52 are tied together at each side in forming the bottom 34.

FIG. 4 is a front view of the convertible swimsuit top 14 of FIGS. 1-2 before assembly or conversion into the alternate top 54 of FIG. 3 according to the present disclosure. The top rings 32 are configured to open when being positioned in the pair of first integrated loops 20 each disposed at the first end 22 of the left cup 16 and right cup of the top 14. In some embodiments, the top rings 32 are uniform in appearance. The top rings can be fabricated of any sturdy material, such as metal, plastic, and the like. The top rings are preferably configured to be round with a closed profile and a hinge closing mechanism. It should be understood that the top rings can be other suitable shapes and have any suitable closing mechanism.

In accordance with the present disclosure, at least one detachable top strap 33 is secured to each top ring 32 at the first end 22 of the left cup 16 and right cup 18 by being knotted or looped around each top ring 32 such that the detachable top straps 33 are tied together at an opposite end 58 in forming neck straps 60 of the top 14. It should be understood that various styles of detachable top straps can be secured to each top ring in forming the neck straps of the top.

As shown in FIGS. 5-11, the convertible swimsuit top 14 of FIGS. 1, 2 and 4, can be assembled into the alternative top 54 (FIG. 11) of FIG. 3 by removing one of the top rings 32 at the first end 22 of the left cup 16 and right cup 18 and the at least one detachable top strap 34 from the remaining top ring 32, and joining the first end 22 together with the remaining top ring 32 (FIGS. 9-11), and pulling the longitudinal strap 28 in an outward direction at the middle section 30 (FIGS. 6-8) such that the longitudinal strap 28 is disposed around the wearer's neck and opposing ends 56 of the longitudinal strap 28 are secured together around the wearer's back. In some embodiments, the top 14 is a triangle bikini top and the alternative top 54 is a bandeau bikini top. It should be understood that the above steps for assembling or converting the triangle bikini top into the bandeau bikini top can be in a different order such that the pulling step precedes the joining step as shown in FIGS. 8-11.

In accordance with the present disclosure, the bandeau bikini top can be assembled or converted back into the triangle bikini top 14 of convertible swimsuit 10 by reversing the above steps. Specifically, the bandeau bikini top 54 can be assembled or converted into the triangle bikini top 14 by removing the at least one top ring 32 from one of the first integrated loops 20 such that the left cup 18 and right cup 16 are unjoined at the middle section 35 of the first end 22. At least one top ring 32 is added into the first integrated loop 20 in which at least one detachable top strap 33 is secured to each top ring 32 at the first end 22 of the left cup 16 (designated 18 in the bandeau bikini top 54 style) and right cup 18 (designated 16 in the bandeau bikini top 54 style). The left cup 16 and right cup 18 are positioned adjacent to each other at a middle section 30 of the second end 26 on the longitudinal strap 28 such that opposing ends 58 of the longitudinal strap 28 are tied together around the wearer's back.

FIG. 12 is a front perspective view of the convertible swimsuit bottom 34 of FIGS. 1-3 with the assembled rings 48, 50 and detachable bottom straps 52 secured thereto according to the present disclosure. Specifically, at least one detachable bottom strap 52 is secured to each bottom ring 48, 50 at opposing sides 42, 46 of the front panel 36 and rear panel 38 by being knotted or looped around each bottom ring 48, 50 such that the detachable bottom straps 52 are tied together at opposing sides 42, 46 in forming the bottom 34. It should be understood that various styles of detachable bottom straps can be secured to each bottom ring in forming the bottom.

FIG. 13 is a front perspective view of the convertible swimsuit bottom 34 of FIGS. 1-3 with one of the bottom rings in an open configuration and the detachable bottom strap removed therefrom. The bottom rings 48, 50 are configured to open when being positioned in the third and fourth integrated loops 40, 44 disposed at opposing sides 42, 46 of the front panel 36 and rear panel 38 of the bottom 34.

In some embodiments, the first and second pairs of bottom rings 48, 50 are uniform in appearance. The bottom rings can be fabricated of any sturdy material, such as metal, plastic, and the like. The bottom rings are preferably configured to be round with a closed profile and a hinge closing mechanism. It should be understood that the bottom rings can be other suitable shapes and have any suitable closing mechanism.

FIG. 14 is an up close view of a ring of the convertible swimsuit of FIGS. 1-13 and 16-17 in a closed configuration according to the present disclosure. FIG. 15 is an up close view of a ring of the convertible swimsuit of FIGS. 1-13 and 16-17 in an open configuration according to the present disclosure. It should be understood that the top rings 32 and bottom rings 48, 50 of the convertible swimsuit 10, 54 of FIGS. 1-13 and 16-17 are configured to be the same as each other and can have any suitable dimensions.

FIG. 16 is a side perspective view of an alternative embodiment of the convertible swimsuit 10 of FIGS. 1-2 with at least one strand of jewelry 62 attached to the top rings 32 and bottom rings 48, 50, according to the present disclosure, shown on a wearer 12. Specifically, in some embodiments, at least one strand of jewelry 62 may be releasably attached to at least one of the pair of top rings 32 or at least one of the first and second pair of bottom rings 48, 50 or a combination thereof.

FIG. 17 is a side perspective view of an alternative embodiment of the convertible swimsuit of FIG. 3 with at least one strand of jewelry 62 attached to the top rings 32 and bottom rings 48, 50 and a strand of jewelry 62 configured as a detachable bottom strap 52, according to the present disclosure, shown on the wearer 12. Specifically, in some embodiments, the at least one detachable bottom strap 52 may be a strand of jewelry 62.

In accordance with the present disclosure, a method for assembling a convertible swimsuit, which is substantially disclosed as already described above and illustrated in FIGS. 1-2, 4, 12-13, and 16, is provided herein. The method includes: providing a top 14 having a left cup 16 and right cup 18 positioned on a wearer's breasts 12, a pair of first integrated loops 20 each disposed at a first end 22 of the left cup 16 and right cup 18, and a pair of second integrated loops 24 each disposed at a second end 26 of the left cup 16 and right cup 18 for slidably receiving a longitudinal strap 28 such that the left cup 16 and right cup 18 are adjacent to each other at a middle section 30 of the second end 26; providing a pair of top rings 32 configured to be slidably disposed in the pair of first integrated loops 20 at the first end 22 of the left cup 16 and right cup 18; securing at least one detachable top strap 33 to each top ring 32 at the first end 22 of the left cup 16 and right cup 18; providing a bottom 34 having a front panel 36 and rear panel 38 configured to be one continuous piece, a pair of third integrated loops 40 each disposed at opposing sides 42 of the front panel 36, and a pair of fourth integrated loops 44 each disposed at opposing sides 46 of the rear panel 38; providing a first pair of bottom rings 48 configured to be slidably disposed in the pair of third integrated loops 40 at opposing sides 42 of the front panel 36; providing a second pair of bottom rings 50 configured to be slidably disposed in the pair of fourth integrated loops 44 at opposing sides 46 of the rear panel 38; securing at least one detachable bottom strap 52 to each bottom ring 48, 50 at opposing sides 42, 46 of the front panel 36 and rear panel 38; and tying the detachable bottom straps 52 together at each side in forming the bottom 34.

In some embodiments, the method for assembling a convertible swimsuit further includes: converting the top 14 into an alternative top 54 by removing one of the top rings 32 at the first end 22 of the left cup 16 and right cup 18; joining the first end 22 together with the remaining top ring 32; removing the at least one detachable top strap 33 from the remaining top ring 32; pulling the longitudinal strap 28 in an outward direction at the middle section 30 such that the longitudinal strap 28 is disposed around the wearer's neck 12; and securing opposing ends 58 of the longitudinal strap 28 together around the wearer's back.

In further embodiments, the step of converting the top 14 into an alternative top 54 includes converting a triangle bikini top into a bandeau bikini top.

In further embodiments, the method includes releasably attaching at least one strand of jewelry 62 to at least one of the pair of top rings 32 or at least one of the first and second pair of the bottom rings 48, 50 or a combination thereof.

In accordance with the present disclosure, a method for assembling a convertible swimsuit, which is substantially disclosed as already described above and illustrated in FIGS. 3, 11-13, and 17, is provided herein. The method includes: providing a top 54 having a non-interchangeable left cup 18 and right cup 16 positioned on a wearer's breasts, a pair of first integrated loops 20 each disposed at a first end 22 of the left cup 18 and right cup 16, and a pair of second integrated loops 24 each disposed at a second end 26 of the left cup 18 and right cup 16 for slidably receiving a longitudinal strap 28 such that the strap is positioned around the wearer's neck 12; providing at least one top ring 32 configured to be slidably disposed in the pair of first integrated loops 20; joining the left cup 18 and the right cup 16 together at a middle section 35 of the first end 22 with the at least one top ring 32; providing a bottom 34 having a non-interchangeable front panel 36 and rear panel 38 configured to be one continuous piece, a pair of third integrated loops 40 each disposed at opposing sides 42 of the front panel 36, and a pair of fourth integrated loops 44 each disposed at opposing sides 46 of the rear panel 38; providing a first pair of bottom rings 48 configured to be slidably disposed in the pair of third integrated loops 40 at opposing sides 42, 46 of the front panel 36; providing a second pair of bottom rings 50 configured to be slidably disposed in the pair of fourth integrated loops 44 at opposing sides 46 of the rear panel 38; securing at least one detachable bottom strap 52 to each bottom ring 48, 50 at opposing sides 42, 46 of the front panel 36 and rear panel 38; and tying the detachable bottom straps 52 together at each side in forming the bottom 34.

In further embodiments, the method includes converting the top 54 into an alternative top 14 by removing the at least one top ring 32 from one of the first integrated loops 20; unjoining the left cup 18 (designated 16 in the triangle bikini top style) and the right cup 16 (designated 18 in the triangle bikini top style) at the middle section 35 of the first end 22; adding at least one top ring 32 into the first integrated loop 20; securing at least one detachable strap 33 to each top ring 32 at the first end 22 of the left cup 16 and the right cup 18; positioning the left cup 16 and the right cup 18 adjacent to each other at a middle section of the second end 26 on the longitudinal strap 28; and tying opposing ends 56 of the longitudinal strap 28 together around the wearer's back 12.

In further embodiments, the step of converting the top 54 into an alternative top 14 includes converting a bandeau bikini top into a triangle bikini top.

In further embodiments, the method includes releasably attaching at least one strand of jewelry 62 to the at least one top ring 32 or at least one of the first and second pair of bottom rings 48, 50 or a combination thereof.

Several of the features and functions disclosed above may be combined into different articles of manufacture, methods or applications, or combinations thereof. Various presently unforeseen or unanticipated alternatives, modifications, variations or improvements therein may be subsequently made by those skilled in the art, each of which is also intended to be encompassed by the following claims.

Claims

1. A convertible swimsuit, comprising:

a top having a left cup and right cup positioned on a wearer's breasts, a pair of first integrated loops each disposed at a first end of the left cup and right cup, and a pair of second integrated loops each disposed at a second end of the left cup and right cup for slidably receiving a longitudinal strap such that the left cup and right cup are adjacent to each other at a middle section of the second end, wherein a pair of top rings is slidably disposed in the pair of first integrated loops at the first end of the left cup and right cup, and at least one detachable top strap is secured to each top ring at the first end of the left cup and right cup; and
a bottom having a front panel and rear panel configured to be one continuous piece, a pair of third integrated loops each disposed at opposing sides of the front panel, and a pair of fourth integrated loops each disposed at opposing sides of the rear panel, wherein a first pair of bottom rings is slidably disposed in the pair of third integrated loops at opposing sides of the front panel, and a second pair of bottom rings is slidably disposed in the pair of fourth integrated loops at opposing sides of the rear panel, such that at least one detachable bottom strap is secured to each bottom ring at opposing sides of the front panel and rear panel and the detachable bottom straps are tied together at each side in forming the bottom.

2. The convertible swimsuit of claim 1, wherein the top is convertible into an alternative top by removing one of the top rings at the first end of the left cup and right cup and the at least one detachable top strap from the remaining top ring and joining the first end together with the remaining top ring and pulling the longitudinal strap in an outward direction at the middle section such that the longitudinal strap is disposed around the wearer's neck and opposing ends of the longitudinal strap are secured together around the wearer's back.

3. The convertible swimsuit of claim 2, wherein the top is a triangle bikini top and the alternative top is a bandeau bikini top.

4. The convertible swimsuit of claim 1, wherein at least one strand of jewelry may be releasably attached to at least one of the pair of top rings or at least one of the first and second pair of the bottom rings or a combination thereof.

5. The convertible swimsuit of claim 1, wherein the left cup and the right cup of the top are non-interchangeable and uniform in appearance.

6. The convertible swimsuit of claim 1, wherein the front panel and the right panel of the bottom are non-interchangeable and uniform in appearance.

7. The convertible swimsuit of claim 1, wherein the top and bottom rings are uniform in appearance.

8. The convertible swimsuit of claim 1, wherein the top rings are configured to open when being positioned in the pair of first integrated loops each disposed at the first end of the left cup and right cup of the top.

9. The convertible swimsuit of claim 1, wherein the bottom rings are configured to open when being positioned in the third and fourth integrated loops disposed at opposing sides of the front panel and rear panel of the bottom.

10. The convertible swimsuit of claim 1, wherein the at least one detachable top strap is secured to each top ring at the first end of the left cup and right cup by being knotted or looped around each top ring such that the detachable top straps are tied together at an opposite end in forming neck straps of the top.

11. The convertible swimsuit of claim 1, wherein the at least one detachable bottom strap is secured to each bottom ring at opposing sides of the front panel and rear panel by being knotted or looped around each bottom ring such that the detachable bottom straps are tied together at each side in forming the bottom.

12. The convertible swimsuit of claim 1, wherein the at least one detachable bottom strap may be a jewelry strand.

13. A convertible swimsuit, comprising:

a top having a non-interchangeable left cup and right cup positioned on a wearer's breasts, a pair of first integrated loops each disposed at a first end of the left cup and right cup, and a pair of second integrated loops each disposed at a second end of the left cup and right cup for slidably receiving a longitudinal strap such that the strap is positioned around the wearer's neck, wherein at least one top ring is slidably disposed in the pair of first integrated loops such that the left cup and right cup are joined together at a middle section of the first end; and
a bottom having a non-interchangeable front panel and rear panel configured to be one continuous piece, a pair of third integrated loops each disposed at opposing sides of the front panel, and a pair of fourth integrated loops each disposed at opposing sides of the rear panel, wherein a first pair of bottom rings is slidably disposed in the pair of third integrated loops at opposing sides of the front panel, and a second pair of bottom rings is slidably disposed in the pair of fourth integrated loops at opposing sides of the rear panel, such that at least one detachable bottom strap is secured to each bottom ring at opposing sides of the front panel and rear panel and the detachable bottom straps are tied together at each side in forming the bottom.

14. The convertible swimsuit of claim 13, wherein the top is convertible into an alternative top by removing the at least one top ring from one of the first integrated loops such that the left cup and right cup are unjoined at the middle section of the first end, and adding at least one top ring into the first integrated loop in which at least one detachable top strap is secured to each top ring at the first end of the left cup and right cup, wherein the left cup and the right cup are positioned adjacent to each other at a middle section of the second end on the longitudinal strap such that opposing ends of the longitudinal strap are tied together around the wearer's back.

15. The convertible swimsuit of claim 14, wherein the top is a bandeau bikini top and the alternative top is a triangle bikini top.

16. The convertible swimsuit of claim 13, wherein at least one strand of jewelry may be releasably attached to the at least one top ring or at least one of the first and second pair of bottom rings or a combination thereof.

17. The convertible swimsuit of claim 13, wherein the at least one detachable bottom strap may be a jewelry strand.

18. A method for assembling a convertible swimsuit, comprising:

providing a top a top having a left cup and right cup positioned on a wearer's breasts, a pair of first integrated loops each disposed at a first end of the left cup and right cup, and a pair of second integrated loops each disposed at a second end of the left cup and right cup for slidably receiving a longitudinal strap such that the left cup and right cup are adjacent to each other at a middle section of the second end;
providing a pair of top rings configured to be slidably disposed in the pair of first integrated loops at the first end of the left cup and right cup;
securing at least one detachable top strap to each top ring at the first end of the left cup and right cup;
providing a bottom having a front panel and rear panel configured to be one continuous piece, a pair of third integrated loops each disposed at opposing sides of the front panel, and a pair of fourth integrated loops each disposed at opposing sides of the rear panel;
providing a first pair of bottom rings configured to be slidably disposed in the pair of third integrated loops at opposing sides of the front panel;
providing a second pair of bottom rings configured to be slidably disposed in the pair of fourth integrated loops at opposing sides of the rear panel;
securing at least one detachable bottom strap to each bottom ring at opposing sides of the front panel and rear panel; and
tying the detachable bottom straps together at each side in forming the bottom.

19. The method of claim 18 further comprising:

converting the top into an alternative top by removing one of the top rings at the first end of the left cup and right cup;
removing the at least one detachable top strap from the remaining top ring;
joining the first end together with the remaining top ring;
pulling the longitudinal strap in an outward direction at the middle section such that the longitudinal strap is disposed around the wearer's neck; and
securing opposing ends of the longitudinal strap together around the wearer's back.

20. The method of claim 19, wherein converting the top into an alternative top includes converting a triangle bikini top into a bandeau bikini top.

21. The method of claim 18 further comprising:

releasably attaching at least one strand of jewelry to at least one of the pair of top rings or at least one of the first and second pair of the bottom rings or a combination thereof.

22. A method for assembling a convertible swimsuit, comprising:

providing a top having a non-interchangeable left cup and right cup positioned on a wearer's breasts, a pair of first integrated loops each disposed at a first end of the left cup and right cup, and a pair of second integrated loops each disposed at a second end of the left cup and right cup for slidably receiving a longitudinal strap such that the strap is positioned around the wearer's neck;
providing at least one top ring configured to be slidably disposed in the pair of first integrated loops;
joining the left cup and the right cup together at a middle section of the first end with the at least one top ring;
providing a bottom having a non-interchangeable front panel and rear panel configured to be one continuous piece, a pair of third integrated loops each disposed at opposing sides of the front panel, and a pair of fourth integrated loops each disposed at opposing sides of the rear panel;
providing a first pair of bottom rings configured to be slidably disposed in the pair of third integrated loops at opposing sides of the front panel;
providing a second pair of bottom rings configured to be slidably disposed in the pair of fourth integrated loops at opposing sides of the rear panel;
securing at least one detachable bottom strap to each bottom ring at opposing sides of the front panel and rear panel; and
tying the detachable bottom straps together at each side in forming the bottom.

23. The method of claim 22 further comprising:

converting the top into an alternative top by removing the at least one top ring from one of the first integrated loops;
unjoining the left cup and the right cup at the middle section of the first end;
adding at least one top ring into the first integrated loop;
securing at least one detachable strap to each top ring at the first end of the left cup and the right cup;
positioning the left cup and the right cup adjacent to each other at a middle section of the second end on the longitudinal strap; and
tying opposing ends of the longitudinal strap together around the wearer's back.

24. The method of claim 23, wherein converting the top into an alternative top includes converting a bandeau bikini top into a triangle bikini top.

25. The method of claim 22 further comprising:

releasably attaching at least one strand of jewelry to the at least one top ring or at least one of the first and second pair of bottom rings or a combination thereof.
