The invention provide an one-button locking mechanism for toilet seat lid, which cooperates with a toilet stand and is used to secure the toilet seat lid on the toilet bowl. The toilet seat lid has a rotary mechanism mounted in two ends thereof to freely pivot the toilet seat lid relative to the toilet bowl. The locking mechanism comprises a sleeve, a left sliding seat, a right sliding seat, and a button and a return spring that drive the left and right sliding seats to move along the left direction and right direction of the toilet seat lid.
1. Field of the Invention
The invention relative to sanitary ware installation, and more particularly, to an one-button toilet seat lid locking mechanism that is compact and tough in structure, and is fast and easy to install.
2. Description of the Prior Art
In common use of a toilet, urine and other dirt is easily accumulated beneath the toilet seat lid and the seat, thus, the toilet seat lid is required to be detached for cleaning. Traditionally, the toilet seat lid and the toilet bowl are connected by bolts components, which requires tool for detachment and is not rapid in process.
Therefore, how to provide a rapid detachable connecting means for the toilet bowl and toilet seat lid to make cleaning easy, becomes a topic for study in the industry. The conventional locking mechanism for toilet seat lid comprises two sets of left and right locking structure that is symmetric. Each locking structure comprises a button, traverse sliding seats, latch bolts, latch springs and a rotary mechanism. The button drives the traverse sliding seats to move along the left and right direction of the toilet seat lid. The latch bolt has an end abutting against the traverse sliding seats, and has another end abutting against the latch spring. The latch spring gives the latch bolt a force toward a middle of the toilet seat lid. The latch bolt defines a latch hole. The latch hole is engaged with a stand fixing on the toilet bowl, thereby to secure the toilet seat lid on the toilet bowl. The locking mechanism pivotally connects with the toilet seat lid, and allows the toilet seat lid to pivot relative to the toilet bowl. The locking structure fulfill a detachability of the toilet seat lid from the toilet bowl, however, comprises too many components and parts, and is tedious for installation process.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONAccordingly, the objective of the invention is to provide an one-button toilet seat lid locking mechanism that is compact and tough in structure, and is fast and easy to install.
To achieve aforesaid objective, the invention provides: an one-button toilet seat lid locking mechanism, which cooperates with a toilet stand and is used to secure the toilet seat lid on the toilet bowl. Said left sliding seat and right sliding seat are slidably mounted in the sleeve, separately disposed at a left side and a right side of the button. The left and right sliding seats have front ends coupled with the button, and rear ends having latch bolts formed integrally thereon to loosen or tighten with the toilet stand. The return spring has two ends respectively abutting against the button and the sleeve.
The left and right sliding seats have front ends defining a pivot seat, respectively. The pivot seats have pivot holes, and two pins being mounted through the pivot holes of the pivot seats respectively to pivotally couple the left and right sliding seats with the button. Correspondingly, the button has two arms protruding from an inner surface thereof, each arm defining a bevel groove that is for receiving the pin and is from inside to outside gradually narrowing its width.
The latch bolts of the left and right sliding seats have slots accommodating with the toilet stand.
The sleeve is a hollow structure, the sleeve has two ends mounted around the rotary mechanism disposed on the left and right ends of the toilet seat lid. The sleeve has a wall defining a button opening for mounting the button and a mounting hole corresponding to the toilet stand.
With aforesaid features, the one-button toilet seat lid locking mechanism of the invention is compact and tough in structure. Comparing with the traditional structure, the structure in accordance with present invention has fewer parts, shorter process that make installation faster and easier, therefore effectively increases working efficiency.
These and other objectives of the present invention will no doubt become obvious to those of ordinary skill in the art after reading the following detailed description of the preferred embodiment that is illustrated in the various figures and drawings.
Detailed description of the invention that considered in conjunction with the accompanying drawings is as illustrated as following.
The one-button toilet seat lid locking mechanism of present invention cooperates with a toilet stand A, to fix the toilet seat lid on the toilet bowl (not shown). Similar to conventional structure, two ends of the toilet seat lid have symmetric rotary mechanism. By the rotary mechanism, the toilet seat lid is able to freely pivot relative to the toilet bowl. As illustrated in
The sleeve 1 is a hollow structure. The sleeve 1 has two ends mounted around the rotary mechanism disposed on the left and right ends of the toilet seat lid. The sleeve 1 has a wall defining a button opening 11 for mounting the button 4 and a mounting hole 12 corresponding to a toilet stand A.
Said left and right sliding seats 2, 3 are slidably mounted in the sleeve 4, separately disposed at the left and right sides of the button 4. The left and right sliding seats 2, 3 have front ends coupled with the button 4, and the front ends of the left and right sliding seats 2, 3 defines a pivot seat 21,31, respectively. The pivot seats 21, 31 have pivot holes 211, 311, and two pins 6, 7 being mounted through the pivot holes 211, 311 of the pivot seats 21, 31 respectively to pivotally couple the left and right sliding seats 2, 3 with the button 4. Correspondingly, the button 4 has two arms 41,42 protruding from an inner surface thereof, each arm 41, 42 defining a bevel groove 411, 421 that is for receiving the pin 6, 7 and is from inside to outside gradually narrowing its width. The rear ends of the left and right sliding seats 2, 3 have latch bolts 22, 32 formed integrally thereon to loosen or tighten with the toilet stand A. The latch bolts 22, 32 have slots 221, 321 accommodating with the toilet stand A.
Said button 4 is mounted in the button opening 11 of the sleeve 1 and is not drop off. Said return spring 5 has two ends respectively abutting against the button 4 and the wall of the sleeve 1.
When unlock the invention, with reference to
With aforesaid features, the one-button toilet seat lid locking mechanism of the invention is compact and tough in structure. Comparing with the traditional structure, the structure in accordance with present invention has fewer parts, shorter process that make installation faster and easier, therefore effectively increases working efficiency.
