BACKGROUND OF THE DISCLOSURE Field of the Disclosure

The disclosure relates to case devices and more particularly pertains to a new case device for preventing an electronic device from being stolen from a user.

SUMMARY OF THE DISCLOSURE

An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a case that may insertably receive an electronic device. The electronic device is retained within the case. A strap is movably coupled to the case. The strap is positionable in a deployed position. A user's hand is positionable between the strap and the case. the strap retains the case on the user's hand. The strap is positionable in a stored position so the strap is concealed within the case.

There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.

The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:

FIG. 1 is a top perspective view of a carrying case assembly according to an embodiment of the disclosure.

FIG. 2 is a perspective view of an embodiment of the disclosure.

FIG. 3 is a top view of an embodiment of the disclosure.

FIG. 4 is a right side view of an embodiment of the disclosure.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 4 thereof, a new case device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.

As best illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 4, the carrying case assembly 10 generally comprises a case 12. An exterior wall 14 of the case 12 has an outer side 16 extending between each of a front 18 and a back side 20 of the exterior wall 14 of the case 12. The front side 18 of the exterior wall 14 of the case 12 is open. The case 12 may insertably receive an electronic device 22 so the electronic device 22 is retained within the case 12. The electronic device 22 may be a Smart Phone of any conventional design.

The back side 20 of the exterior wall 14 of the case 12 has a strap opening 24 extending through each of an outer 26 and an inner 28 surface of the back side 20 of the exterior wall 14 of the case 12. Each of a primary 30 and a secondary 32 side of a bounding edge 34 of the strap opening 24 is positioned proximate to and is coextensive with an associated one of a top 36 and a bottom 38 surface of the outer side 16 of the exterior wall 14 of the case 12. Each of a first lateral side 40 and a second lateral side 42 of the bounding edge 34 of the strap opening 24 is positioned proximate to and is coextensive with an associated on of a first oblique 44 and a second 46 oblique surface of the outer side 16 of the exterior wall 14 of the case 12.

A strap 48 is provided. The strap 48 has a first end 50 and a second end 52 and the strap 48 is elongated between the first 50 and second 52 ends. The strap 48 has break 54 extending laterally across the strap 48. The break 54 defines a first portion 56 and a second portion 58 of the strap 48. Moreover, the first portion 56 of the strap 48 is slidably coupled to the second portion 58 of the strap 48 so the strap 48 has an adjustable length.

A pair of pins 60 each extends laterally through an associated one of each of the first 50 and second 52 ends of the strap 48. Each of the pair of pins 60 engages an associated one of the first lateral 40 and second lateral 42 sides of the bounding edge 34 of the strap opening 24. Each of the first 50 and second 52 ends of the strap 48 are positioned proximate to an associated one of the primary 30 and secondary 32 sides of the bounding edge 34 of the strap opening 24. Additionally, each of the first 50 and second 52 ends of the strap 48 are coextensive with the associated one of each of the primary 30 and secondary 32 sides of the bounding edge 34 of the strap opening 24.

The back side 20 of the exterior wall 14 of the case 12 has an aperture 61 extending through the outer 26 and inner 28 surfaces of the back side 20 of the exterior wall 14 of the case 12. The aperture 61 is positioned proximate an intersection of the top surface 36 and the first oblique 44 surface of the outer side 16 of the exterior wall 14 of the case 12. The aperture 61 allows access to the electronic device 22.

The strap 48 is positionable in a deployed position. The first portion 56 of the strap 48 is fully extended from the second portion 58 of the strap 48. Additionally, the strap 48 arches upwardly from the back side 20 of the exterior wall 14 of the case 12. A user's hand 62 is positionable between the strap 48 and the case 12. The strap 48 retains the case 12 on the user's hand 62.

The strap 48 is positionable in a stored position. The first portion 56 of the strap 48 is fully inserted into the second portion 58 of the strap 48. The strap 48 lies flat within the strap opening 24. An exposed surface 64 of the strap 48 is coextensive with the back side 20 of the exterior wall 14 of the case 12.

In use, the electronic device 22 is positioned within the case 12. The strap 48 is positioned in the deployed position when the user 66 wishes to utilize the electronic device 22. The strap 48 prevents the case 12 from being stolen while the user 66 is utilizing the electronic device 22. The user 66 positions the strap 48 in the stored position when the user 66 is finished using the electronic device 22.

With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.

Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure.
