Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of Invention

The present invention relates to a table and chair structure for assembling bed, and more particularly to a table and chair structure for assembling bed which can be folded and unfolded speedily for forming a chair and a table or a bed by using a few simplified components for providing multifarious functions and lowering the stock and assembling labor hour costs.

2. Related Art

Based on the claims of the Taiwanese utility patent “Improved Bed Structure for Converting into Table” with publication number M240141 dated 11 Aug. 2004, the Improved Bed Structure for Converting into Table comprising at least two bed plates, at least two hinges being disposed at pre-determined locations between each of the bed plates, at least two connecting components being disposed on a side of one of the bed plates; at least two leg frames disposed on a bottom side of each of the bed plates, at least two hinges being disposed between the leg frame and each of the bed plates; and a bed head plate disposed with at least two pivotal connecting elements at pre-determined locations, the pivotal connecting elements being correspondingly inserted in the connecting components on the side of the bed plate.

According to the structures of the above published patent and referring to FIG. 2 in the drawings of the patent, the Improved Bed Structure for Converting into Table comprising complicated structural combinations of a plurality of bed plates and each of the bed plates being disposed with at least one hinge; a plurality of leg frames and each of the leg frames being disposed with at least one hinge; and a bed head plate disposed with at least one pivotal connecting element. Thereby, a table or a bed can be formed by folding. However, as shown in the folding illustrations in FIGS. 3 to 10 of the Taiwanese utility patent, a bed head plate 3 is taken apart upwardly for causing a pivotal connecting element 31 to detach from a connecting component 16 for forming a large table as shown in FIG. 4 in the drawings. If a user wants to fold the large table into a small table, a first leg frame 22 and a second leg frame 21 are unfolded towards a bottom of a first bed plate 11 for causing the first leg frame 22 and the second leg frame 21 to fold and place on the bottom of the first bed plate 11. The first bed plate 11 is then folded towards a bottom of a second bed plate 12. Because a hinge 14 between the first bed plate 11 and the second bed plate 12 is in a rough U shape after folding, a space is formed between the first bed plate 11 and the second bed plate 12 for accommodating the first leg frame 22 and the second leg frame 21, and the first bed plate 11 and the second bed plate 12 will not press against on the first leg frame 22 and the second leg frame 21. After the first bed plate 11 and the second bed plate 12 are folded away, the folded first bed plate 11 and the second bed plate 12 are folded towards a top surface of a third bed plate 13 for making the first bed plate 11 and the second bed plate 12 as well as the first leg frame 22 and the second leg frame 21 to fold and place on the top surface of the third bed plate 13. This is the first drawback because the procedures are rather troublesome which makes the use very inconvenient.

Furthermore, the complicated structural combinations shown in FIG. 2 of the drawings of the above patent increase the difficulty in manufacturing and assembling as well as the costs, which is economically ineffective and is the second drawback.
