DETAILED DESCRIPTION EMBODIMENTS OF THE INVENTION

Reference will now be made in detail to the preferred embodiments of the present invention, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings, which form a part of this disclosure. It is to be understood that this invention is not limited to the specific devices, methods, conditions or parameters described and/or shown herein, and that the terminology used herein is for the purpose of describing particular embodiments by way of example only and is not intended to be limiting of the claimed invention.

Also, as used in the specification including the appended claims, the singular forms “a”, “an”, and “the” include the plural, and reference to a particular numerical value includes at least that particular value, unless the context clearly dictates otherwise. Ranges may be expressed herein as from “about” or “approximately” one particular value and/or to “about” or “approximately” another particular value. When such a range is expressed, another embodiment includes from the one particular value and/or to the other particular value. Similarly, when values are expressed as approximations, by use of the antecedent “about”, it will be understood that the particular value forms another embodiment.

FIG. 1(a) shows an ornament base 10 and a number of different ornaments attached thereto and FIG. 1(b) shows a rear view of the ornament base having an attachment means 11. Preferably, the attachment means 11 are snap fasteners and may be attached to various locations of a garment. The attachment means 11 may additionally have a button hole.

The ornament base 10 may be made of fabric in a square or rectangular shape. The edges of the ornament base 10 may be provided with wire to support and maintain the shape of the ornament base 10 and the wire may be plastically deformable or fixed in a certain shape.

Alternatively, the ornament base 10 may be made of a plastically deformable foil so that a user can change the shape of the whole base 10 as he wishes.

FIG. 1(a) shows a number of different ornaments detachably or fixedly attached to the ornament base 10. When detachably attached, a user can try different ornaments to be attached to the ornament base 10.

The ornaments may be made of a plastically deformable wire so that a user can change the shape of the ornament. The butterfly ornaments have wires on their edges and a user can change the shape of the butterfly. The last ornament of FIG. 1(a) is made of a plastically deformable foil in a flower shape and a flock of wires at the center and a user can change the shape as he wishes.

FIG. 2(a) shows a rear view of a garment 20 having an attachment means 21, 22 to be attached to the ornament base 10 of FIG. 1(b) and FIG. 2(b) shows the ornament base 10 attached to a sleeve of a garment 20.

FIG. 3(a) shows a detachable ornament 30 having a plastically deformable wire 32 inside a fabric and an attachment means 31. Conventional wires used in a garment are elastic and resilient and thus, its shapes, if deformed, are returned to its original place. However, the detachable ornament 30 has a plastically deformable wire 32 inside a fabric. The plastically deformable wire 32 is provide along the rim of the fabric to form, for example, a shape of a star as shown in FIG. 3(a). The wire 32 is malleable so that it can be deformed and the deformed form is maintained. Thus, a user can make various shapes, for example a flower or a star, using the wire as he wishes. The two ends of the wire 31 may be disconnected as in FIG. 3(a) or connected to each other. The attachment means 31 can be anything such as snap fastener or hook and loop fasteners. The detachable ornament 30 further comprises a base 33 and the base 33 is made of fabric.

FIG. 3(b) shows an ornament base having an attachment means 41 and a coil 42. A number of ornaments may be detachably attached to the coil 42 as in FIG. 3(c). The ornament base may be made of plastically deformable material such as aluminum foil and covered in a fabric.

FIG. 3(d) shows a wire and ornaments attached thereto. The wire is plastically deformable so that a user can change its shape.

FIG. 4(a) shows the detachable ornament 30 of FIG. 3(a) attached to a sleeve of a garment and FIG. 4(b) shows the detachable ornament of FIG. 3(a) attached to pants or trousers.

FIG. 5(a) shows a rear view of a garment wherein four fabric panels are closed and FIG. 5(b) shows a rear view of the garment of FIG. 5(a) wherein the four fabric panels are open to expose an attachment means therein. In addition, FIG. 5(c) shows a rear view of the garment of FIG. 5(a) wherein the four fabric panels are open and the detachable ornament 30 of FIG. 3(a) is attached to the attachment means inside the four fabric panels.

The four panels are provided with an attachment means on both sides of the panels such as snap fasteners or Velcro, and the back side of the garment is provided with mating or corresponding attachments means such as snap fasteners. The detachable ornament 30 may be flattened, and the four fabric panels are closed to contain the detachable ornament 30 therein. Here, the snap fasteners should be placed to avoid interference of attachments between the ornament and the garment, and the four panels and the garment.

FIG. 6(a) shows a rear view of a garment wherein the four fabric panels are open to expose a stylish design therein and FIG. 6(b) shows the garment wherein the four fabric panels are closed.

FIG. 7(a) shows a plastically deformable strip 40 and an attachment means 41 attached thereto. The plastically deformable strip 40 may be made of aluminum foil and fabric covers the aluminum foil so that a user can change the shape of the strip 40. A plurality of magnetic materials 46 may be embedded in the plastically deformable strip 40 as in FIG. 7(b) and a number of different ornaments, having a magnetically attractable attachment means, may be attached to the magnetic material. For example, as in FIG. 7(c), LED lights may be attached to the magnetic materials 46 and the LED lights have a magnetically attractable attachment means.

FIG. 8(a) shows a collar of a garment having an attachment means 21 to which the plastically deformable strip 40 of FIG. 7(a) can be attached. FIG. 8(b) shows the collar of the garment of FIG. 8(a) wherein the plastically deformable strip 40 is attached to the collar.

FIG. 9 shows a front view of a garment having a collar wherein a plastically deformable wire 52 is inserted along the edge of the collar 50. Two additional wires 54, 56 may be attached as well. The wires 52, 54, 56 can be shaped in any shape as the user wishes. The collar may be provided with buttons or buttonholes so that various ornaments can be attached thereto.

FIG. 10 shows a rear view of a garment having a fish-shaped ornament 60. The fish-shaped ornament is detachably attached to a garment by an attachment means 64. The attachment means 64 may be buttons and buttonholes, but any other attachment means may be used. Preferably, buttons are formed on a garment and the buttonholes are formed on the fish-shaped ornament 60. The fish-shaped ornament 60 is comprised of three parts 61, 62, 62 which are attached to each other with a spring. The edge of the fish-shaped ornament may be provided with a plastically deformable wire. A movable fin-shaped member 66 may be provided to the center piece 62 of the fish-shaped ornament 60. A movable eyeball is provided to the head piece 63 of the fish-shaped ornament in a transparent housing 65. The transparent housing 65 is rectangular and the eyeball moves in the housing 65. Alternatively, the eyeball may be made to open and close or its size may change. A painting such as an eye design may be inserted in the housing 65.
