Description
FIELD OF INVENTION

The present invention relates to a vest used during tactical situations, particularly a vest with extendable straps for evacuation purposes.

BACKGROUND

For the purposes of this background, a vest is an item of clothing that a person would wear for protection. Military, private, and law enforcement personnel are in more dangerous situations and threats as ever. Due to these situations and threats, personnel are much more likely to upgrade their gear to provide them with things they need when faced with a threat. Therefore, many personnel facing employ tactical vests with protection capabilities to store various tactical, medical, and communication equipment in as close proximity and reach as possible. If this personnel faces a situation where a manual evacuation technique is required, the best option available is to attach a carabineer with a strap onto the vest of the personnel in need. This takes time, and the eye of the personnel off the shooter for a short period of time. This short period is at times the difference between a successful evacuation and an unsuccessful one. Therefore, it is desirable for a system that reduces the time a personnel spends securing a strap onto the personnel in need, provides a system that is more efficient and still allows the existing pull, drag, and carry techniques to be utilized.

SUMMARY

The present invention is a vest that includes evacuation straps that can be extended to a longer length and is already attached directly onto the vest.
