CLEANING ASSEMBLY

Abstract

A cleaning assembly includes a cleaning glove. The cleaning glove includes a hand portion and a plurality of finger portions coupled to and extending away from the hand portion. A glove adhesive layer is positioned on the cleaning glove to have debris adhered thereto when the cleaning glove abuts a support surface. A cleaning bootie is provided. The cleaning bootie has a foot portion extending forwardly from a heel portion. A bootie adhesive layer is positioned on the cleaning bootie to have debris adhered thereto.

Description

BACKGROUND OF THE DISCLOSURE

1. Field of the Disclosure

The disclosure relates to cleaning devices and more particularly pertains to a new cleaning device for cleaning a support surface without bending over.

2. Summary of the Disclosure

An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a cleaning glove. The cleaning glove includes a hand portion and a plurality of finger portions coupled to and extending away from the hand portion. A glove adhesive layer is positioned on the cleaning glove to have debris adhered thereto when the cleaning glove abuts a support surface. A cleaning bootie is provided. The cleaning bootie has a foot portion extending forwardly from a heel portion. A bootie adhesive layer is positioned on the cleaning bootie to have debris adhered thereto.

There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.

The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 6 thereof, a new cleaning device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.

As best illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 6, the cleaning assembly 10 generally comprises a cleaning glove 12. The glove 12 includes a hand portion 14 and a plurality of finger portions 16 coupled to and extending away from the hand portion 14. The hand portion 14 has a bottom end 18 that is open. The cleaning glove 12 has a bottom surface 20.

A glove adhesive layer 22 is provided. The glove adhesive layer 22 is positioned on the cleaning glove 12 to have debris 24 adhered thereto when the cleaning glove 12 abuts a support surface 26. The support surface 26 may be a floor. The glove adhesive layer 22 is positioned on the bottom surface 20 and completely covers the bottom surface 20.

A glove sheet 28 is removably positioned on and covers the glove adhesive layer 22. A first tab 30 is coupled to and extends outwardly from the glove sheet 28. The first tab 30 is grippable to facilitate removing the glove sheet 28 from the glove adhesive layer 22. The cleaning glove 12 may be one of a pair of cleaning gloves.

A cleaning bootie 32 is provided. The cleaning bootie 32 has a foot portion 34 extending forwardly from a heel portion 36. The heel portion 36 has a top end 38 that is open to receive a foot 40. The cleaning bootie 32 has a lower surface 42.

A bootie adhesive layer 44 is provided. The bootie adhesive layer 44 is positioned on the cleaning bootie 32 to have the debris 24 adhered thereto when the cleaning bootie 32 abuts the support surface 26. The bootie adhesive layer 44 is positioned on the lower surface 42 and completely covers the lower surface 42. A bootie sheet 46 is removably positioned on and covers the bootie adhesive layer 44. A second tab 48 is coupled to and extends outwardly from the bootie sheet 46. The second tab 48 is grippable to facilitate removing the bootie sheet 46 from the bootie adhesive layer 44.

In use, the cleaning glove 12 and the cleaning bootie 32 are worn to remove the debris 24 from the support surface 26. The cleaning glove 12 and the cleaning bootie 32 are discarded after the support surface 26 has been cleaned. The assembly 10 allows the support surface 26 to be cleaned by a user without requiring the user to bend. The user may be an individual with a back injury or other limiting physical injury.

With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.

Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.

Claims

1. A cleaning assembly configured to remove debris from a floor, said assembly comprising:

a cleaning glove including a hand portion and a plurality of finger portions coupled to and extending away from said hand portion;

a glove adhesive layer positioned on said cleaning glove and configured to have debris adhered thereto when said cleaning glove abuts a support surface;

a cleaning bootie having a foot portion extending forwardly from a heel portion; and

a bootie adhesive layer positioned on said cleaning bootie and being configured to have debris adhered thereto.

2. The assembly according to claim 1, wherein said hand portion having a bottom end being open, said cleaning glove having a bottom surface.

3. The assembly according to claim 2, wherein said glove adhesive layer being positioned on said bottom surface and completely covering said bottom surface.

4. The assembly according to claim 1, wherein a glove sheet removably positioned on and covering said glove adhesive layer.

5. The assembly according to claim 4, wherein a first tab being coupled to and extending outwardly from said glove sheet, said first tab being grippable to facilitate removing said glove sheet from said glove adhesive layer.

6. The assembly according to claim 1, wherein said heel portion having a top end being open such that said cleaning bootie is configured to receive a foot, said cleaning bootie having a lower surface.

7. The assembly according to claim 6, wherein said bootie adhesive layer being positioned on said lower surface and completely covering said lower surface.

8. The assembly according to claim 1, wherein a bootie sheet removably positioned on and covering said bootie adhesive layer.

9. The assembly according to claim 8, wherein a second tab coupled to and extending outwardly from said bootie sheet, said second tab being grippable to facilitate removing said bootie sheet from said bootie adhesive layer.

10. A cleaning assembly configured to remove debris from a floor, said assembly comprising:

a cleaning glove including a hand portion and a plurality of finger portions coupled to and extending away from said hand portion, said hand portion having a bottom end being open, said cleaning glove having a bottom surface;

a glove adhesive layer positioned on said cleaning glove and configured to have debris adhered thereto when said cleaning glove abuts a support surface, said glove adhesive layer being positioned on said bottom surface and completely covering said bottom surface;

a glove sheet removably positioned on and covering said glove adhesive layer;

a first tab being coupled to and extending outwardly from said glove sheet, said first tab being grippable to facilitate removing said glove sheet from said glove adhesive layer;

a cleaning bootie having a foot portion extending forwardly from a heel portion, said heel portion having a top end being open such that said cleaning bootie is configured to receive a foot, said cleaning bootie having a lower surface;

a bootie adhesive layer positioned on said cleaning bootie and being configured to have debris adhered thereto, said bootie adhesive layer being positioned on said lower surface and completely covering said lower surface; and

a bootie sheet removably positioned on and covering said bootie adhesive layer; and

a second tab coupled to and extending outwardly from said bootie sheet, said second tab being grippable to facilitate removing said bootie sheet from said bootie adhesive layer.
