COMBINATION ROLLER TOY

A combination roller toy having a cylindrical shape, formed by parallel rotating rings, limited by fixed flanges, wherein each ring is divided into any number of movable sections, and one of them has one segment less than the other. The rings are rotatably fixed on an axle. Each ring has gaps made in it with an extension at the bottom, in which sliding segments are fixed. The segments have a shape of a rectangular, convex plate with a perpendicular fin with an extension at the bottom. The ring has an open-work shape of a cylindrical surface, connected with a central sleeve by perpendicular arms.

BACKGROUND

The subject of the utility model is a combination roller toy.

A puzzle-type toy is known from Polish patent application; application number P-340572. The toy is cylindrical in shape. Parallel rings are rotatably fixed on a stationary sleeve along the cylinder axis. Each of the rings is divided into a determined number of sliding blocks. The extreme rings are limited by fixed flanges, preventing the block from sliding out of the toy. There is one blank space in one of the rings. The created gap allows the block to be moved from one ring to the other neighboring ring. The ring rotation moves the gap to another position, allowing it to receive the next block.

The blocks are placed in the guides in the form of T-slots. The central sleeve is provided with seats, one for each ring, wherein the locking components are located, positioning the ring relative to the sleeve.

The toy of the present invention is simpler and easier to make, lightweight and allows the precise shifting of segments.

The toy of the present invention enables one to develop skills of logic, thinking, memory, spatial orientation and perception.

The task for the player can be to form a pattern present on the outer surface.

SUMMARY

A combination roller toy according to the utility model of the present invention has a cylindrical shape, formed by parallel rotating rings, limited by fixed flanges, wherein each ring is divided into any number of movable sections, and one of them has one segment less than the other, characterized in that the rings are rotatably fixed on an axle, wherein each ring has gaps made in it with an extension at the bottom, in which the sliding segments are fixed. The segments have a shape of a rectangular, convex plate with a perpendicular fin with an extension at the bottom.

The ring has an open-work shape of the cylindrical surface, connected with the central sleeve by perpendicular arms.

DRAWINGS

The combination roller is shown in the drawing, in which FIG. 1, FIG. 2 and FIG. 3 illustrate the toy in three orthogonal views, and FIG. 4 shows the sliding segment.

DESCRIPTION

The toy has the shape of an elongated cylinder and comprises an axle 1 on which parallel rings 2 are rotatably fixed. The extreme rings are limited with the flanges, bottom 3 and cover 4. Each ring has an openwork shape of cylindrical surface 5, connected by perpendicular arms 6 to the central sleeve 7. Each arm has a slot 8 made in it with a cylindrical extension 9 at the bottom of he slot. The segment 10 is slidably fixed in he slot in the form of a convex plate 11 with a perpendicular fin 12, with a bottom extension 13.

Claims

1. A combination roller with a cylindrical shape formed by parallel rotating rings limited by fixed flanges, wherein each ring is divided into a plurality of movable sections, and one of said sections has one segment less than the other, WHEREIN the rings (2) are rotatably fixed on an axle (1), each ring having slots (8) made in it with an extension at a bottom (9), in which sliding segments (10) are fixed, having a shape of a rectangular, convex plate (11) with a perpendicular fin (12) with an extension at the bottom (13).

2. The combination roller according to claim 1, WHEREIN each ring (2) has an open-work shape with a cylindrical surface (5) connected by perpendicular arms (6) with a central sleeve (7).
