Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a water drainage device, and in particular to a line-controlled type loose-prevention bath tub water drainage device.

2. The Prior Arts

In general, a bath tub water exit device is composed of a water overflow portion, a water exit portion, a breaking line, and pipelines connected in between. In the existing line-controlled type bath tub water exit device, the water exit portion controls the open or close of the water exit through a spring plate fastened to the control rod. In application, the friction between the control rod and the spring plate tends to wear off the control rod, thus leading to the failure of the line-controlled function. In addition, the spring plate is liable to have metal fatigue and tends to deform, hereby also leading to the failure of its line-controlled function. In case the water pressure becomes too great, in the water exit process of the water blocking plug, the spring plate tends to rebound, causing the automatic closing of the water blocking plug, so that water can not be exited and discharged.

In case the line-controlled bath tub water exit function fails to work, then the bath tub can not be used by a user to take a bath. Also, since the water exit device is installed in the bottom seat of the bath tub, its maintenance and replacement is rather difficult and cumbersome.

Therefore, presently, the design and performance of the bath tub water drainage device is not quite satisfactory, and it leaves much room for improvement.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

The purpose, construction, features, functions and advantages of the present invention can be appreciated and understood more thoroughly through the following detailed description with reference to the attached drawings.

Refer to FIGS. 1 to 6 respectively for a schematic diagram of a line-controlled type loose-prevention bath tub water drainage device according to an embodiment of the present invention; an exploded view of a line-controlled type loose-prevention bath tub water drainage device according to an embodiment of the present invention; a cross section view along the longitudinal direction of FIG. 1; a schematic diagram of bath tub water drainage device (with end cover removed) in a water exit state according to an embodiment of the present invention; a schematic diagram showing the connection of the water exit component, the control valve, and the braking lines for a bath tub water drainage device in a water exit state according to an embodiment of the present invention; and a perspective view of a water exit component according to an embodiment of the present invention.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 6, the line-controlled type loose-prevention bath tub water drainage device includes: a water exit component 1, a control valve 2, a water drainage tube 4, and a braking line 3.

Firstly, the water exit component 1 includes a water blocking plug 11, an insertion rod 111, a hollow bolt 15, a sieve basket 14, a first rotation axis 131, a first control rod 13, and a poking rod 12. Wherein, the water exit component 1 is disposed on a water exit port, while the control valve 2 is disposed at a water overflow port. In the center portion of the sieve basket 14 is provided with a connection hole, for the hollow bolt 15 to be placed therein. The sieve basket 14 is installed in the water exit port, such that an insertion rod 111 of the water blocking plug 11 can be inserted into the inner hole of the hollow bolt 15, to be exposed outside the hollow bolt 15 and the sieve basket 14.

Below the insertion rod 111 is provided a poking rod 12, that is connected to and drives a first control rod 13.

The first control rod 13 includes a first rotation axis 131 and a first pull rod 132. Wherein, the first pull rod 132 is connected vertically to one end of the first rotation axis 131, while the other end of the first rotation axis 131 is connected to and drives the poking rod 12. Both the poking rod 12 and the first pull rod 132 are able to rotate under outside force, with the first rotation axis 131 as the rotation axis. The first control rod 13 and the first pull rod 132 are located on a same side of the first rotation axis 131, and are above the first rotation axis, facing away from each other.

The first pull rod 132 is connected to the first end of the braking line 3.

Secondly, the control valve 2 includes a rotation button 21, a water overflow pad 26, a water overflow cover 25, a water overflow bend 24, a second control rod 22, and a second pull rod 222.

The control valve 2 is disposed over the water overflow bend 24, which is connected to a water drainage tube 4. On the water overflow bend 24 is provided with the first position limiting slot 23. In the present embodiment, the first position limiting slot 23 is roughly of a rectangular shape. An opening of the first position limiting slot 23 for the braking line 3 to come in, is disposed on the lower side wall of the first position limiting slot 23, and is close to the corner angle of the first side wall 28. The second position limiting slot 27, and is located below the first position limiting slot 23, and is connected and in communication with the opening and is close to the first side wall 28. The second position limiting slot 27 is used to restrict the second end of the braking line 3.

The water overflow cover 25 and the water overflow pad 26 are related to the overflow function of the control valve. Since they belong to the Prior Art, they will not repeated here in detail for brevity. The second control rod 22 includes a second rotation axis 221 and a second pull rod 222. One end of the second rotation axis penetrates through the water overflow cover 25 and the water overflow pad 26, and is connected to the rotation button 21 through threads. The other end of the second rotation axis 221 is connected vertically to one end of the second pull rod 222. The other end of the second pull rod 222 is connected to and drives the second end of the braking line 3. The second pull rod 222 is received in the first position limiting slot 23, to rotate along with the rotation of the second rotation axis 221.

The distance between the second pull rod 222, and the first side wall 28 of the first position limiting slot 23 is less than the length of the second pull rod 222, such that the first side wall 28 of the first position limiting slot 23 can be used to serve as the position limiting piece to restrict the rotation angle of the second pull rod 222. The designs for restricting the rotation angles of the second pull rod 222 can be varied, such as the width of the first position limiting slot 23 can be less than the length of the second pull rod 222. Alternatively, the second pull rod 222 can be installed eccentrically in the first position limiting slot 23. In addition, the position limiting piece can be replaced by a protrusion block installed in the first position limiting slot 23.

The operation principles of the line-controlled type water drainage device are described as follows:

When it is desired to open the water blocking plug 11 to exit and discharge water, rotate the rotation button 21, which drives the second pull rod 222 into rotation through the second rotation axis 221, to pull the braking line 3. Then the braking line 3 pulls the second pull rod 222 into rotation, which in turn brings the first rotation axis 131 to drive the poking rod 12 into rotation, to pop up the water blocking plug 11, and to open the water exit hole. In this way, water in the bath tub can be exited from the water exit hole through filtering of the sieve basket.

At this time, the other end of the second rotation axis 221 is pressed against the first side wall of the first position limiting slot 23.

In the process of exiting water, the water blocking plug 11 is first subjected to the pressure of water, then the pressure is transmitted to the poking rod 12, and to the second control rod 22. Subsequently, the pressure is transmitted to the braking line 3, and then to the second pull rod 222, so that the second pull rod 222 tends to continue to rotate. However, since the second pull rod 222 is pressed against the first side wall of the first position limiting slot 23, which exerts an reaction force to the second pull rod 222, to prevent the second pull rod 222 from continuing to rotate. In this way, it effectively prevents the water blocking plug 11 from rebounding in the water exiting process to close the water exit hole.

When it is desired to close the water exit hole, all it has to do is to turn the rotation button in the reverse direction.

The above detailed description of the preferred embodiment is intended to describe more clearly the characteristics and spirit of the present invention. However, the preferred embodiments disclosed above are not intended to be any restrictions to the scope of the present invention. Conversely, its purpose is to include the various changes and equivalent arrangements which are within the scope of the appended claims.
