PORTABLE NECK PILLOW

The present invention relates to a portable neck pillow comprising a neck pillow main body part of a “U” shape to accommodate a user's neck therein and a pair of arm holder parts extending from both opposite end parts of the neck pillow main body part to insert and support the user's arms therein, so that the user's arms as well as the user's neck can be supported and the user can take a rest more comfortably.

Description
TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention relates to a portable neck pillow usually used in a means of transportation such as an automobile, an airplane and etc.

BACKGROUND ART

As shown in FIG. 1, a conventional portable neck pillow is a cushion of a “U” shape to accommodate a user's neck therein. It is formed to support right and left sides of the user's neck as well as a nape of the neck.

According to such a portable neck pillow, the user is comfortably supported in the neck so that he/she can take a rest comfortably while seated in a vehicle.

However, there is no means provided to support the user's arms while he/she is using the conventional neck pillow 1 as described above. Therefore, it remains still unsatisfactory in that he/she cannot take a rest more comfortably.

That is, the user's arms are kept in a state of being lowered down because there is no means to support the arms of the user who is wearing the neck pillow 1. Accordingly, a state of a strained arm muscle is not fully relaxed so that the user cannot take a rest more comfortably.

DISCLOSURE Technical Problem

Accordingly, the object of the present invention is to provide a portable neck pillow which supports a user's arm as well as the user's neck for the user to take a rest more comfortably.

Technical Solution

In order to accomplish the above object, the present invention provides A portable neck pillow comprising: a neck pillow main body part of a “U” shape to accommodate a user's neck therein; and a pair of arm holder parts extending from both opposite end parts of the neck pillow main body part to insert and support the user's arms therein.

According to an aspect of the present invention, a pair of the arm holder parts are arm holder bands of a ring shape to insert and support the user's arm therethrough and at least one of the arm holder bands is provided with a cellular phone pocket.

According to an aspect of the present invention, the length of a pair of the arm holder parts are provided to be adjustable.

According to an aspect of the present invention, both opposite end parts of the neck pillow main body part are provided with an attaching and detaching means for attaching and detaching therebetween.

According to an aspect of the present invention, both opposite end parts of the neck pillow main body part have pockets to receive the arm holder parts.

ADVANTAGEOUS EFFECTS

According to the portable neck pillow of the present invention as described above, the user's neck is accommodated and supported by a “U” shaped main body part of the neck pillow. Additionally, the user's arms are received in a pair of arm hanger parts which are extended from both opposite end parts of the neck pillow. Therefore, the user's neck and arms are supported at the same time so that he/she can take a rest much more comfortably.

FIG. 2 is a perspective view of a portable neck pillow according to a first exemplary embodiment of the present invention;

BEST MODE

As shown in FIG. 2, a portable neck pillow 10 according to a first exemplary embodiment of the present invention comprises a neck pillow main body part 11 of a “U” shape to accommodate a user's neck therein, and a pair of arm holder parts 12 extending from both opposite end parts of the neck pillow main body part 11.

In this embodiment, the respective arm holder part 12 is formed as an arm holder band of a loop shape to insert and support a user's arm therein.

According to such a portable neck pillow 10, as shown in FIG. 3, the user's neck is inserted, accommodated and supported in the neck pillow main body part 11 and the user's arms are inserted through and supported by a pair of the arm holder parts 12.

Therefore, the user's neck is comfortably supported and the user's arms are also comfortably supported by a pair of the arm holder parts 12, so that the user can take a rest even more comfortably.

In this case, an arm holder band 12 forming one of the arm holder parts has a cellular phone pocket 13 thereon to improve user's convenience.

As shown in FIG. 2, both opposite end parts of the “U” shaped neck pillow main body part 11 are provided with an attaching and detaching means at an inner side thereof respectively. In this embodiment, the attaching and detaching means is a hook 14.

The attaching and detaching means such as the hook 14 prevents the portable neck pillow 10 from being taken off and it helps the user to take a comfortable and stable posture. It also gives a keeping warm effect such as a blanket.

However, the hook 14 described above is an exemplary embodiment of the means for attaching and detaching both opposite end parts of the neck pillow main body part 11. It may be displaced by other attaching and detaching means such as button and button hole, Velcro and etc.

As shown in FIG. 4, the portable neck pillow 20 according to a second exemplary embodiment of the present invention has a pair of arm holder parts 22 each of which is cut at a middle part thereof to have a long band and a short band. The short band has buttons 23 with a predetermined interval therebetween and the long band has a button hole 24 at its end part. Therefore, the length of the arm holder part 22 can be adjusted by the combination of the buttons 23 and the button hole 24.

Accordingly, the portable neck pillow 20 can be used by a man, a woman, a child and etc. by adjusting the length of a pair of the arm holder parts 22 according to the user's physical details.

Also, the neck pillow main body part 21 has pockets 25 at both opposite end parts thereof to receive the arm holder parts 22 after they are folded.

Although the exemplary embodiments of the present invention have been disclosed, various modifications, additions and substitutions are possible, without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention. Therefore, the above embodiments must be regarded as examples provided for description of the present invention, rather than to limit the present invention.

Claims

1. A portable neck pillow comprising:

a neck pillow main body part of a “U” shape to accommodate a user's neck therein; and
a pair of arm holder parts extending from both opposite end parts of the neck pillow main body part to insert and support the user's arms therein.

2. The portable neck pillow according to claim 1, wherein a pair of the arm holder parts are arm holder bands of a ring shape to insert and support the user's arm therethrough and

at least one of the arm holder bands is provided with a cellular phone pocket.

3. The portable neck pillow according to claim 1 or claim 2, wherein the length of a pair of the arm holder parts are provided to be adjustable.

4. The portable neck pillow according to claim 1, wherein both opposite end parts of the neck pillow main body part are provided with an attaching and detaching means for attaching and detaching therebetween.

5. The portable neck pillow according to claim 1, wherein both opposite end parts of the neck pillow main body part have pockets to receive the arm holder parts.
