Description
TECHNICAL FIELD

The present disclosure generally relates to a portable hands-free apparatus technical field, and in particularly, related to a hands-free bracket tied to the abdominal area of a user for holding smart phones, to achieve hands-free viewing of the smart phone.

BACKGROUND

Conventional hands-free apparatuses for portable electronic devices are fastened to an object, such as, windshield, glass, wall or desk top, and clamp to hold the portable electronic device. As such, a user can view the video played on the electronic device comfortably by adjusting the viewing angle and distance. However, as the hands-free apparatus is fastened to a stationary place, when the user changes position, the viewing angle and distance with respect to the display also changes. In addition, when the user sits on a sofa or lies in bed without a hard-surfaced object for the hand-free apparatus to be fastened to, the user is often forced to hold the electronic device in hand, which is inconvenient to use for viewing for an extended period of time.

SUMMARY

The primary object of the present disclosure is to provide a portable hands-free bracket, to be fastened to the abdominal area of a user, for holding light-weighted objects. For close-range use of portable electronic device, such as, smart phone, the bracket of the present disclosure may be used with additional supporting clamping device to clamp onto the electronic device in front of the chest area so that the user can view the display of the electronic device comfortably.

To achieve the aforementioned object, an exemplary embodiment provides a portable hands-free bracket, including: a wearing unit, a support protective plate, an angle adjustment unit, and a receiving tube; wherein the wearing unit being for the user to wear around the waist, the wearing unit being able to change length depending on the user waist; the support protective plate being disposed at the wearing unit; the angle adjustment unit being installed at the support protective plate to receive the receiving tube, and able to adjust and fix the angle at which the receiving tube tilting outwards from the support protective plate; and the receiving tube having a housing space for insertion and placement.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE DISCLOSED EMBODIMENTS

Below, exemplary embodiments will be described in detail with reference to accompanying drawings so as to be easily realized by a person having ordinary knowledge in the art. The inventive concept may be embodied in various forms without being limited to the exemplary embodiments set forth herein. Descriptions of well-known parts are omitted for clarity, and like reference numerals refer to like elements throughout.

FIG. 1 shows a schematic view of an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in FIG. 1, a portable hands-free bracket includes: a wearing unit 1, a support protective plate 2, an angle adjustment unit 3, and a receiving tube 4; wherein the wearing unit 1 being for a user to wear around the waist, the wearing unit 1 being able to change length depending on the user waist; the support protective plate 2 being disposed at the wearing unit 1, and pressing against the abdominal area of the user when in use; the angle adjustment unit 3 being installed at the outer side of the support protective plate 2 to receive the receiving tube 4. The angle adjustment unit 3 is able to adjust the angle at which the receiving tube 4 tilting outwards from the support protective plate 2, and fixes the position of the receiving tube 4 after adjustment. The receiving tube 4 and an opening facing outwards and has a housing space 41 for inserting and placing an object. As such, the portable hands-free bracket of the present disclosure can be worn around the user waist to provide a place for placing an object.

The following describes the components in details. As shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 2, the support protective plate 2 is shaped as a shield, with two opposite sides, a first side 21 and a second side 22. The first side 21 has a concave curvy surface to contact the abdominal area of the user when in use, and the concave shape matches the shape of the abdomen of the user. The second side 22 is for install the angle adjustment unit 3. The installation is located at the lateral center with the distance to the top edge 221 smaller than the distance to the bottom edge 222. The support protective plate 2 contacts the user abdomen with a large area to disperse the pressure. The asymmetry between the top part and the bottom part is able to reduce the discomfort on the abdomen and provide stable support when in use. The support protective plate 2 further includes two hole trenches 23, 24, located close to the left and right sides of the support protective plate 2 respectively. The angle adjustment unit 3 is installed on the support protective plate 2 between the hole trenches 23, 24 and at the same height level.

The wearing unit 1 is for the user to wear the present disclosure around the waist. The wearing unit 1 is able to change length to accommodate the waist change of the user. The structure of the wearing unit 1 may be similar to a conventional belt, and no specific restriction is imposed here. The following exemplar shows an embodiment of the wearing unit 1, including an adjustable belt 11 and a belt buckle 12. The belt buckle is connected to the adjustable belt 11. The adjustable belt 11 includes a movable element 111. The length of the adjustable belt 11 is changed by adjusting the position of the movable element 111. The adjustable belt 11 passes through the hole trench 24 to connect with a side of the support protective plate 2, and the other side of the support protective plate 2 is buckled at the hole trench 23 by the belt buckle 12. As such, the wearing unit 1 is worn around the waist. In addition, the wearing unit 1 can also be realized by belt with adhesive fastener.

The angle adjustment unit 3 is for adjusting the angle at which the receiving tube 4 tilts outwards from the support protective plate 2, and fixing the position after adjustment. In the instant embodiment, the angle adjustment unit 3 is coupled to the receiving tube 4, as shown in FIG. 3. The angle adjustment unit 3 includes a coupling base 31, a coupling tube 32, an axial element 33 and a flip lock element 34. The coupling base 31 has a U shape and formed protrudingly on the second side 22 of the support protective plate 2. The surfaces of U shape facing each other are disposed with teeth surface element 311. The coupling tube 32 is formed at the sealed end of receiving tube 4. Each of the two ends of the coupling tube 32 forms a ring teeth 321. The coupling tube 32 is installed inside the coupling base 31, and the axial element 33 passes through the coupling tube 32 and the coupling base 31 so that the three components are inseparable. The flip lock element 34 is coupled to one end of the axial element 33 and contacts the outside wall of the coupling base 31. When the flip lock element 34 is flipped to a lock state, the coupling tube 32 is tightly clamped by the coupling base 31, and the teeth surface element 311 engages with the ring teeth 321 so that the coupling tube 32 cannot be rotated. As a result, the angle of the receiving tube 4 with respect to the support protective plate 2 is fixed. On the other hand, when the flip lock element 34 is flipped to an unlock state, the coupling base 31 and the coupling tube 32 are loosely coupled, and angle adjustment can be performed. In addition, the angle adjustment unit 3 is not limited to the above embodiment. Other implementations can also be used, such as, a structure of a ball shape with multi-direction.

FIG. 4 and FIG. 5 show a schematic view of the present disclosure in actual application. The portable hands-free bracket provides a place for placing an object. In the instant application, the object is a supporting clamping device 5, and in particular, the supporting clamping device 5 is a selfie auxiliary rod. The supporting clamping device 5 includes a support rod 51 and a clamping device 52. The clamping device is coupled to the tip of the support rod, and the length of the support rod is adjustable. As shown in FIG. 5, when in use, the wearing unit 1 is for a user 6 to wear around the waist so that the support protective plate 2 presses against the abdominal area of the user 6. The angle adjustment unit 3 fixes the angle of the r4eceiving tube 4 tilting outwards from the support protective plate 2. The support rod 51 of the supporting clamping device 5 is inserted into the receiving tube 4, and the clamping device 52 clamps onto a smart phone 7. As such, the user 6 is able to view the smart phone 7 without the need to hold by hand. The user can either sit or stand when using the present disclosure.

In summary, the portable hands-free bracket of the present disclosure provides the user with a place fixed to the abdominal area to place an object. When used with a supporting clamping device, a smart phone is supported in front of the chest area of the user for viewing.
