Preferably, the shell is a plastic shell, and is preferably an ABS plastic shell formed by ABS plastic via extrusion molding.
The structure of the leg body has multiple selections, specifically:
the leg body can be made of a foam material and fully fills the interior of the shell.
The foam material can select a polyurethane foam material, which has the feature of light weight and can meet the strength demand of load bearing, in a production process, the shell is processed at first, then the foam material is filled in the shell, and the processing of the entire sofa leg is finished after the foam material solidifies.
The leg body can further include a solid supporting column, and the solid supporting column is vertically arranged in the shell. The solid supporting column herein can be made of such materials as wood, metal and the like and plays a supporting function, and since the solid supporting column is covered by the shell, when the solid supporting column is manufactured, the beautiful appearance thereof is not considered, thereby being convenient to manufacture and saving the material. To conveniently locate the solid supporting column in the shell, the space except the solid supporting column in the shell is filled with the foam material. Compared with a leg body structure made of total foam material, the supporting force of this structure is stronger, and thus this structure is firmer after being installed on the sofa body.
The leg body can also include a hollow supporting column, and the hollow supporting column is vertically arranged in the shell. The hollow supporting column herein can have the same function and material as the solid supporting column, and the only difference lies in that the hollow supporting column better saves the material. Similarly, to conveniently locate the hollow supporting column in the shell, the space except the hollow supporting column in the shell and the inner space of the hollow supporting column are filled with the foam material.

2. The composite sofa leg of claim 1, wherein the shell is a plastic shell.
3. The composite sofa leg of claim 1 or 2, wherein the leg body is a foam material and fully fills the interior of the shell.
4. The composite sofa leg of claim 1 or 2, wherein the leg body comprises a solid supporting column, and the solid supporting column is vertically arranged in the shell.
5. The composite sofa leg of claim 4, wherein the space except the solid supporting column in the shell is filled with the foam material.
6. The composite sofa leg of claim 1 or 2, wherein the leg body comprises a hollow supporting column, and the hollow supporting column is vertically arranged in the shell.
7. The composite sofa leg of claim 6, wherein the space except the hollow supporting column in the shell and the inner space of the hollow supporting column are filled with the foam material.
