PAPER SMOKING TUBE
A paper smoking tube formed by a tubular main body made of organic textile fibre weighing between 13 and 14 gr/m2 wherein the tobacco is deposited and by a cylindrical mouthpiece joined to the main body by one of its ends. The mouthpiece has a cellulose filter covered by a waterproof paper made of organic textile fibre weighing between 32 and 33 gr/m2.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a smoking tube configured to be filled with tobacco.
2. Description of Related Art Including Information Disclosed Under 37 CFR 1.97 and 37 CFR 1.98.
To date, smoking tubes are manufactured from bleached paper to which chemical compounds are added to control combustion. The mouthpieces which are disposed at one end of said tubes are manufactured from fibrous material, such as cellulose acetate, designed to trap tar and other toxic chemical products before they reach smokers' lungs.
The drawback of these tubes is that they are not biodegradable as regards the mouthpiece, which remains in the environment for a long time, thereby contributing to environmental pollution.
Furthermore, cigarette paper has the disadvantage of being treated with bleaching chemical products, in addition to other chemical additives.
The present invention proposes an alternative to the known smoking products or tubes that overcomes their drawbacks, providing a more environmentally friendly tube.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONThe smoking tube of the present invention is formed by a tubular main body made of organic textile fibre, with a weight of 13-14 gr/m2, configured to be filled with tobacco. The organic textile fibre is a natural material which does not include the presence of any chemical additive or bleaching agent, therefore having the natural colour of the organic textile fibre used.
This fibre may be hemp, linen, esparto, etc.
The tube also comprises a cylindrical mouthpiece joined to the main body by one of its ends, wherein said mouthpiece comprises a cellulose paper filter covered by a waterproof paper-mouthpiece made of organic textile fibre weighing 32-33 gr/m2. The filter is kept joined to the main body by means of the waterproof paper-mouthpiece that surrounds it and, in turn, overlaps the main body.
Given that the filter is made of cellulose, the mouthpiece is fully biodegradable and non-polluting, thereby being environmentally friendly.
The paper that forms the main body, and that which covers the filter, is completely natural, also biodegradable and does not contain any chemical additive, which is also considered advantageous.
The tube thus manufactured preferably has opacity less than or equal to 35%.
In order to complement the description being made and with the object of helping to better understand the characteristics of the invention, said description is accompanied by a set of drawings where, in an illustrative and non-limiting manner, the following has been represented:

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTIONIn order to better understand the invention, following is a description of the paper smoking tube of the present invention based on the foregoing figures.
The main body is fully manufactured from natural textile fibre such as hemp, linen or esparto. It is brown in colour, that of the natural fibre, as it is not treated with any bleaching agent. Additionally, it does not include any chemical additive to control combustion. The main body (1) does not contain any chemical compounds or materials other than the organic textile fibre that forms it.
It is fine paper with a weight of 13-14 g/m2 and opacity of 35%.
The waterproof paper (22) that covers the filter is slightly wider than said filter, such that the portion of waterproof paper that projects with respect to the filter (23) is used for overlapping or joining to the main body, such that the filter (23) and the main body (1) are held together by the waterproof paper (22) that covers the filter and, in turn, overlaps the main body (1) by one end thereof.
Claims
1. A paper smoking tube comprising
- a tubular main body made of organic textile fibre, weighing between 13 and 14 gr/m2 and configured to be filled with tobacco, and
