Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Technical Field

The present invention relates to a bag, and more particularly to a zippered bag.

2. Description of Related Art

In order to keep the goods carried on the body safe, the bags usually are provided with a device to close an opening thereof, such as buckle, Velcro, zipper, and so on. Zipper is the commonest device to close and open the opening of the bag.

The conventional bag is provided with the zipper on a side, usually the top side, thereof. When the zipper is unzipped, the opening of the bag is opened, and the user may put goods in the bag. When a size of a good is slightly smaller than the bag, the opening would be not wide enough for the good although the good may be received in the bag.

Besides, the bag with a big opening would be popular to user to put goods in the bag, or take goods out. Some bags are provided with a zipper extending on two or more sides of the bag. Such bag has a big opening as well as a long zipper, however, it could not prevent the zipper from being damaged when the user widen the opening of the bag.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

In view of the above, the primary objective of the present invention is to provide a zippered bag, which has a big opening for access of goods, and may protect the zipper when the user is widen the opening.

In order to achieve the objective of the present invention, the present invention provides a zippered bag including a bag member and a zipper. The bag member has a first side, a second side, which is connected to the first side, and an opening, which extends from the first side to the second side. The zipper is provided on the bag member at an edge of the opening, wherein the zipper has a first section on the first side and a second section on the second side; and an end of the first section is closer to a joining point of the first section and the second section than a middle portion of the first section.

With such design, the bag member would have a big opening extending from the first side to the second side. Beside, an end of the zipper is closer to the joining point of the first and the second sections than a middle portion of the first section, which means that the direction changes in the first section. It could prevent the zipper from being damaged while the opening is being widened.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWINGS

The present invention will be best understood by referring to the following detailed description of some illustrative embodiments in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, in which

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a first preferred embodiment of the present invention, showing the zipper on the backpack;

FIG. 2 is a perspective view of a second preferred embodiment of the present invention, showing the zipper on the tube bag; and

FIG. 3 is a perspective view of a third preferred embodiment of the present invention, showing the second type of the zipper on the tube bag.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

FIG. 1 shows a zippered bag 1 of the first preferred embodiment of the present invention, which is a backpack, including a bag member 10 and a zipper 12.

The bag member 10 has a firs side 10a and a second side 10b, and the first side 10a is connected to the second side 10b. The bag member 10 is provided with an opening extending from the first side 10a to the second side 10b.

The zipper 12 is provided on the bag member 10 at an edge of the opening. The zipper 12 has a first section 12b on the first side 10a, and a second section 12d on the second side 10b. The zipper 12 has an end 12a on the first side 10a, and a joining point 12d, which is the point where the first section 12b is connected to the second section 12d. The end 12a of the first section 12b is closer to the joining point 12d than a middle portion of the first section 12b. In other words, the first section 12b of the zipper 12 goes in a circular direction, and the second section 12d is straight.

The zippered bag 1 of the first preferred embodiment has a big opening. When the first section 12b is unzipped, a portion of the first side 10a, within the first second 12b, could be flipped open to access small goods. When both the first second 12b and the second section 12d are unzipped, it could access large goods through the entire opening. It is noted that the first section 12b of the zipper 12 may go in any direction other than circular direction.

FIG. 2 shows a zippered bag 2 of the second preferred embodiment of the present invention, which is a tube bag, including a bag member 20 and a zipper 22. The zipper 22 has a circular first section 22a on a first side 20a of the bag member 20, and a straight section on a second side of the bag member 20. The same as above, the first section 22a of the zipper 22 may go in any direction other than circular direction. The zippers of above embodiments may provide a big opening to access large goods.

FIG. 3 shows a zippered bag 3 of the third preferred embodiment of the present invention, which is a tube bag as well, including a bag member 30 and a zipper 32. The bag member 30 has a first side 30a, a second side 30b, and a third side 30c, wherein the first side 30a is connected to the second side 30b, the second side 30b is connected to the third side 30c, but the first side 30a is not connected to the third side 30c.

The zipper 32 extends from the first side 30a, through the second side 30b, to the third side 30c. The zipper 32 has a first section 32a on the first side 30a, a second section 32c on the second side 30b, and a third section 32e on the third side 30c. An end of the first section 32a is closer to a joining point 32b, which is the point where the first section 32a is connected to the second section 32c, than a middle portion of the first section 32a, and an end 32f of the third section 32e is closer to a joining point 32d, which is the point where the second section 32c is connected to the third section 32e, than a middle portion of the third section 32e. The first section 32a and the third section 32c go in a circular direction, and the second section 32c is straight.

When any two or more sections of the zipper 32 are unzipped, it could access large goods through the opening.

The zipper 32 is provided with two sliders 321 to unzip the zipper 32 in both directions. For example, in a condition of both of the sliders 321 are at the joining point 32b of the first second 32a and the second section 32c, the opening on the first side 30a is opened when the slider 321 is drawn toward the end of the first side 30a, and the opening on the second side 30b is opened when the other slider 321 is drawn toward the other end of the second side 30b.

It must be pointed out that the embodiments described above are only some preferred embodiments of the present invention. All equivalent structures which employ the concepts disclosed in this specification and the appended claims should fall within the scope of the present invention.
