OBJECT WRAPPING ASSEMBLY

Abstract

An object wrapping assembly includes a film. The film is arranged in a roll such that a selected length of the film is removable from the roll. The roll has a width of at least 120 cm, allowing the film to be wrapped around an irregularly shaped object. The film conceals the irregularly shaped object. The film is comprised of a resiliently deformable material to resist being damaged when the film is wrapped around the irregular object.

BACKGROUND OF THE DISCLOSURE

Field of the Disclosure

The disclosure relates to wrapping devices and more particularly pertains to a new wrapping device for wrapping an irregularly shaped object.

SUMMARY OF THE DISCLOSURE

An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a film. The film is arranged in a roll such that a selected length of the film is removable from the roll. The roll has a width of at least 120 cm, allowing the film to be wrapped around an irregularly shaped object. The film conceals the irregularly shaped object. The film is comprised of a resiliently deformable material to resist being damaged when the film is wrapped around the irregular object.

There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.

The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 4 thereof, a new wrapping device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.

As best illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 4, the object wrapping assembly 10 generally comprises a film 12. The film 12 has an outer edge 14 extending between each of a top surface 16 and a bottom surface 18 of the film 12. The film 12 is arranged in a roll 20 such that the top surface 16 abuts the bottom surface 18. Thus, a selected length of the film 12 is removable from the roll 20. The roll 20 has a width of at least 120 cm, allowing the film 12 to be wrapped around an irregularly shaped object. Moreover, the film 12 may be used to conceal the irregularly shaped object.

The film 12 is comprised of a resiliently deformable material to resist being damaged when the film 12 is wrapped around the irregular object. The resiliently deformable material may be a biodegradable plastic or the like. The film 12 is further comprised of a fluid impermeable material, allowing the film 12 to be written upon to facilitate a user 22 writing images or personalized messages on the film 12.

The film 12 has indicia 24 printed on the top surface 16 and may have indicia 24 printed on both the top surface 16 and the bottom surface 18. Thus, the indicia 24 are visible regardless of an orientation of the film 12 with respect to the irregularly shaped object. The indicia 24 may comprise images of sailboats 26, stars 28, animal caricatures 30, human caricatures 32 or the like. Additionally, the indicia 24 may have bright colors to indicate a festive occasion.

In use, the film 12 is drawn from the roll 20 and cut to the selected length. The irregularly shaped object is placed on the film 12 and the film 12 is wrapped around the irregularly shaped object. The film 12 allows the irregularly shaped object to be wrapped without being placed in a box.

With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.

Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.

Claims

1. An object wrapping assembly comprising:

a film, said film being arranged in a roll such that a selected length of said film is removable from said roll, said roll having a width of at least 120 cm wherein said film is configured to be wrapped around an irregularly shaped object thereby concealing the irregularly shaped object; and

said film being comprised of a resiliently deformable material wherein said film is configured to resist being damaged when said film is wrapped around the irregular object.

2. The assembly according to claim 1, wherein said film having an outer edge extending between each of a top surface and a bottom surface of said film, said film having indicia being printed on said top surface.

3. The assembly according to claim 1, wherein said film having an outer edge extending between each of a top surface and a bottom surface of said film, said film having indicia being printed on each of said top surface and said bottom surface of said film to facilitate said indicia being visible regardless of an orientation of said film with respect to the irregularly shaped object

4. The assembly according to claim 3, wherein said film being comprised of a fluid impermeable material wherein said film is configured to be written upon to facilitate a user writing images or personalized messages on said film.

5. An object wrapping assembly comprising:

a film, said film having an outer edge extending between each of a top surface and a bottom surface of said film, said film being arranged in a roll such that said top surface abuts said bottom surface wherein a selected length of said film is removable from said roll, said roll having a width of at least 120 cm wherein said film is configured to be wrapped around an irregularly shaped object thereby concealing the irregularly shaped object;

said film being comprised of a resiliently deformable material wherein said film is configured to resist being damaged when said film is wrapped around the irregular object;

said film being further comprised of a fluid impermeable material wherein said film is configured to be written upon to facilitate a user writing images or personalized messages on said film; and

said film having indicia being printed on each of said top surface and said bottom surface of said film to facilitate said indicia being visible regardless of an orientation of said film with respect to the irregularly shaped object.
