"Replaceable Flexible Adhesive Urine Deflector" for western style toilet seat

A “replaceable adhesive urine deflector” for Western-style toilet seat. The deflector adheres ,mechanically, magnetically, adhesively, by Velcro, or any other way of attaching one part to another, to the bottom front portion of the toilet seat it extends downwardly adjacent the inside surface of the bowl rim. The deflector covers the interior gap between the bottom of the seat and the top of the bowl rim. The deflector is made of flexible and liquid repellent material. The deflector conforms to the toilet seat.

Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to an attachable, removable, flexible, plastic or other material that are liquid repellant urine deflector for toilet sets that prevents urine from splashing, squirting or leaking between the front portion of the rim of the toilet bowl and the toilet seat.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

For some people, when urinating in the sitting position urine splashes, squirts or leaks through the space between the toilet seat and the bowl, causing urine to soak their clothing or run down the front of the bowl onto the floor.

The source of the direction of the urine flow is well known. For example, when males choose to urinate from the sitting position. If the man does not properly direct his urine stream, such as if has a partial erection, has had prostate surgery, has had kidney stones and requires a stent, or is a child that has not learned how to direct or is urinating in the middle of the night and is less aware of the direction of their urine stream, urine still splashes, squirts for leaks between the toilet bowl and the seat. This misdirection can also happen with a woman's urine stream.

Therefore, it would be appropriate to provide a device that averts urine from splashing, squirting or leaking between the rim of the toilet bowl and the toilet set when men and women urinate from the sitting position.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 Isometric Exploded View of the Replaceable Flexible Adhesive Urine Deflector

Upper Portion of the Urine Deflector

The top portion of the deflector has evenly placed slits cut perpendicular to the exterior edge to allow for flection so the deflector can adjust for the varying curvature of any Western style toilet seat. A mild adhesive, magnetic, or mechanical attachment is on the topside of the upper portion of the deflector so it can be easily attached and removed from said toilet seat.

Lower Portion of the Urine Deflector

Can flex to any Western style toilet seat because it is made of a liquid repellent plastic or other liquid repellent materials.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The invention comprises a replaceable attachable and removable urine deflector that attaches to the bottom side of a toilet seat. It prevents urine from splashing, squirting or leaking between the front portion of the rim of the toilet bowl and the toilet seat when mean and women urinate from the sitting position. In preferred examples, the Replaceable Adhesive Urine Deflector for toilet seat is used with a Western-style toilet bowl. Having the Replaceable Adhesive Urine Deflector attached to the bottom surface of the toilet set causing the gap between the bowl and the toilet seat to be shielded. The Replaceable Adhesive Urine Deflector for toilet seat direction is radially inwardly past the bowl rim in a substantially vertical position of the said base, whereby any fluid gathering on said deflector drains off said spots.

Deflector is made from one peace of a liquid repellant material that is folded to about ninety degrees so that the top portion can be adhered to the inner rim of the front portion of the toilet seat. The top portion of the deflector has evenly placed slits cut perpendicular to the exterior edge to allow for flection so the deflector can adjust for the varying curvature of any Western style toilet seat.

Deflector extends downwardly around the front periphery of said base and the depth of the deflector is constant along said periphery.

The depth of the deflector is great enough so that said deflector extends downwardly below the bottom of the bowl rim

Deflector interiorly attached on the bottom surface of said toilet set and extending generally downwardly therefrom, the deflector being located adjacent to the inner edge of the bowl rim and covering the interior gap between the bottom of the toilet seat and the top of the bowl. The deflector proximate the front section of the toilet set extending downwardly and radially inwardly when said toilet set rest on the bowl rim in the lowered position of said toilet seat and the portion of the deflector proximate the bottom back section of the front edge of the toilet seat forming a shield that extends below the top surface of the bowl rim and inwardly past the bowl rim in and in a substantially vertical position of said toilet seat, whereby any fluid accumulation on said deflector drains off into said bowl avoiding dripping on said bowl rim top surface.
