An electronic cigarette includes a rod having an atomization device and a battery assembly, wherein the electronic cigarette further includes a jacket, the jacket is arranged on an outer surface of the rod, and an outer surface of the jacket is provided with a friction portion. When using the electronic cigarette, due to the friction portion, fingers of a user may contact the friction portion, which may increase the friction between the fingers and the rod, thereby effectively preventing the electronic cigarette from falling off from the fingers in use.

Description

This present application is the national phase of International Application No. PCT/CN2013/087670, entitled “Electronic Cigarette”, filed on Nov. 22, 2013, which claims the benefit of priority to Chinese patent application No. 201320689658.9 entitled “ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE” and filed with the Chinese State Intellectual Property Office on Nov. 4, 2013, both of which applications are incorporated herein in their entireties by reference thereto.

BACKGROUND

1. Field of the Disclosure

The present application relates to the technical field of simulated cigarettes, in particular to an electronic cigarette.

2. Discussion of the Background Art

An electronic cigarette has appearance and taste similar to that of a conventional cigarette, and is a substitute of the conventional cigarette.

Reference is made to FIGS. 1 and 2, wherein FIG. 1 is a schematic view showing the structure of a first main body of an electronic cigarette in the conventional technology, and FIG. 2 is a schematic view showing the structure of a second main body of the electronic cigarette in the conventional technology.

The electronic cigarette generally includes a first main body and a second main body. The first main body includes an atomization device 01, a tar storage cotton 02, an upper electrode 03, an insulating ring 04 sleeved on the upper electrode 03, and etc. The second main body mainly includes a battery 07, a lower electrode 08, a controller 09 and a lamp cap 010. The lower electrode 08 and the controller 09 are both electrically connected to the battery 07, and the controller 09 is electrically connected to the lamp cap 010.

The first main body has one end provided with a suction nozzle 05, and the other end provided with a threaded portion 06. The second main body has one end provided with the lamp cap 010, and the other end provided with an internal thread configured to cooperate with the threaded portion 06. In use, the first main body and the second main body may be assembled together via the cooperation between the threaded portion 06 and the internal thread. In use, the electronic cigarette may simulate the process of cigarette smoking, the atomization device 01 atomizes the substances in the tar storage cotton 02 to simulate the smoke, and the controller 09 controls the light and dark states of the lamp cap 010 according to the smoking process of a user to simulate the state of a burning cigarette.

However, a rod of the second main body in the conventional electronic cigarette is generally made of metal, thus an outer surface of the second main body is very smooth, and the electronic cigarette tends to fall off from the user's hand since a friction between the second main body and fingers of the user is small, which may cause inconvenience to the user.

Hence, a technical problem to be solved by those skilled in the art is to prevent the electronic cigarette from falling off.

SUMMARY

An electronic cigarette is provided in the present application, which has a structure capable of effectively preventing the electronic cigarette from falling off.

The electronic cigarette according to the present application includes a rod having an atomization device and a battery assembly, wherein the electronic cigarette further includes a jacket, the jacket is arranged on an outer surface of the rod, and an outer surface of the jacket is provided with a friction portion.

Preferably, the friction portion is distributed on the entire outer surface of the jacket.

Preferably, the rod includes a first main body and a second main body, the first main body and the second main body are configured to be detachably connected, the atomization device is arranged in the first main body, and the battery assembly is arranged in the second main body.

Preferably, the jacket is arranged on the second main body, and the friction portion is arranged at an end of the jacket near the first main body.

Preferably, the friction portion is spherical convex portions.

Preferably, the friction portion is annular convex portions distributed in a spiral shape.

Preferably, the friction portion is swingable swing ball convex portions.

Preferably, the friction portion is spherical convex portions.

Preferably, the jacket is a rubber jacket.

Preferably, the jacket is a jacket made of ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer material.

The electronic cigarette according to the present application includes a rod having an atomization device and a battery assembly, wherein the electronic cigarette further includes a jacket, the jacket is arranged on an outer surface of the rod, and an outer surface of the jacket is provided with a friction portion. When using the electronic cigarette, due to the friction portion, fingers of a user may contact the friction portion, which may increase the friction between the fingers and the rod, thereby effectively preventing the electronic cigarette from falling off from the fingers in use.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

An electronic cigarette is provided in the present application, which has a structure capable of effectively preventing the electronic cigarette from falling off.

For those skilled in the art to better understand technical solutions of the present application, the present application is described in detail in conjunction with drawings and embodiments hereinafter.

First Embodiment

Reference is made to FIGS. 3 and 4, wherein FIG. 3 is schematic view showing the structure of an electronic cigarette of a separated structure according to the first embodiment of the present application, and FIG. 4 is schematic view showing the structure of the electronic cigarette shown in FIG. 3.

In this embodiment, the electronic cigarette includes a first main body 1-1 and a second main body 1-2. The first main body 1-2 is provided with an atomization device and components for ensuring the normal operation of the atomization device, such as a tar storage cotton. The first main body 1-1 has one end provided with a suction nozzle, and the other end provided with a threaded portion 1-5. The second main body 1-2 has one end provided with a lamp cap 1-3, and the other end provided with a thread configured to cooperate with the threaded portion 1-5 of the first main body 1-1. The lamp cap 1-3 is electrically connected to a battery assembly arranged in the second main body 1-2, and a detachable connection between the first main body 1-1 and the second main body 1-2 may be realized due to the cooperation between the threaded portion 1-5 and the thread.

The second main body 1-2 further includes a jacket, which is arranged at an outer surface of the second main body 1-2. An outer surface of the jacket is provided with spherical convex portions 1-4, which are distributed on the entire outer surface of the jacket.

When using the electronic cigarette, due to the arranged spherical convex portions 1-4, fingers of a user may contact the spherical convex portions 1-4, which may increase the friction between the fingers and the jacket, thereby effectively preventing the electronic cigarette from falling off from the fingers of the user in use. At the same time, the arrangement of the spherical convex portions 1-4 may also ensure the comfort of the user.

In addition, in order to ensure a more comfortable touch feeling of the electronic cigarette, the jacket in this embodiment is a rubber jacket. In this way, the user may have a better comfortable feeling since the rubber jacket is soft. The jacket may also be made of other soft materials, such as EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer) material.

It is to be noted that, the spherical convex portions 1-4 in this embodiment are distributed on the entire outer surface of the jacket, and the spherical convex portions 1-4 may also be arranged at a part of the outer surface of the jacket according to habits, for instance, the spherical convex portions 1-4 may be arranged near the end, configured to be connected to the first main body, of the second main body.

It is further to be noted that, the convex portion 1-4 is of a spherical shape in this embodiment, and the convex portion 1-4 may be of other shapes according to actual situations, such as square shape, star shape, and etc.

Second Embodiment

Reference is made to FIGS. 5 and 6, wherein FIG. 5 is a schematic view showing the structure of an electronic cigarette of a separated structure according to the second embodiment of the present application, and FIG. 6 is a schematic view showing the structure of the electronic cigarette shown in FIG. 5.

In this embodiment, the electronic cigarette includes a first main body 2-1 and a second main body 2-2. The first main body 2-1 is provided with an atomization device and components for ensuring the normal operation of the atomization device, such as a tar storage cotton. The first main body 2-1 has one end provided with a suction nozzle, and the other end provided with a threaded portion 2-5. The second main body 2-2 has one end provided with a lamp cap 2-3, and the other end provided with a thread configured to cooperate with the threaded portion 2-5 of the first main body 2-1. The lamp cap 2-3 is electrically connected to a battery assembly arranged in the second main body 2-2, and the first main body 2-1 is detachably connected to the second main body 2-2 via the threaded connection.

The second main body 2-2 further includes a jacket, which is arranged at an outer surface of the second main body 2-2. An outer surface of the jacket is provided with annular convex portions 2-4, which are distributed on the entire outer surface of the jacket. The distribution of the annular convex portions 2-4 on the jacket is of a spiral shape.

When using the electronic cigarette, due to the arranged annular convex portions 2-4, fingers of a user may contact the annular convex portions 2-4, which may increase the friction between the fingers and the jacket, thereby effectively preventing the electronic cigarette from falling off from the fingers in use.

In addition, in order to ensure a more comfortable touch feeling of the electronic cigarette, the jacket in this embodiment is a rubber jacket. In this way, the user may have a better comfortable feeling since the rubber jacket is soft. The jacket may also be made of other soft materials, such as EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer) material.

It is to be noted that, the annular convex portions 2-4 in this embodiment are distributed on the entire outer surface of the jacket, and the annular convex portions 2-4 may also be arranged at a part of the outer surface of the jacket according to habits, for instance, the annular convex portions 2-4 may be arranged near the end, configured to be connected to the first main body, of the second main body.

It is further to be noted that, this embodiment employs the annular convex portions 2-4 distributed in a spiral shape, and the annular convex portions 2-4 may also be distributed in other shapes, such as a waved shape.

Third Embodiment

Reference is made to FIGS. 7 and 8, FIG. 7 is a schematic view showing the structure of an electronic cigarette of a separated structure according to the third embodiment of the present application, and FIG. 8 is schematic view showing the structure of the electronic cigarette shown in FIG. 7.

In this embodiment, the electronic cigarette includes a first main body 3-1 and a second main body 3-2. The first main body 3-1 is provided with an atomization device and components for ensuring the normal operation of the atomization device, such as a tar storage cotton. The first main body 3-1 has one end provided with a suction nozzle, and the other end provided with a threaded portion 3-5. The second main body 3-2 has one end provided with a lamp cap 3-3, and the other end provided with a thread configured to cooperate with the threaded portion 3-5 of the first main body 3-1. The lamp cap 3-3 is electrically connected to a battery assembly arranged in the second main body 3-2, and the first main body 3-1 is detachably connected to the second main body 3-2 via the threaded connection.

The second main body 3-2 further includes a jacket, which is arranged at an outer surface of the second main body 3-2. An outer surface of the jacket is provided with swingable swing ball convex portions 3-4, which are distributed on the entire outer surface of the jacket.

When using the electronic cigarette, due to the arranged swing ball convex portions 3-4, fingers of a user may contact the swing ball convex portions 3-4, top ends of the swing ball convex portions 3-4, subjected to a force from the fingers of the user, tend to incline toward the direction of the force, thereby forming spaces to accommodate fingers, which may effectively prevent the electronic cigarette from falling off from the fingers of the user. At the same time, the arrangement of the swing ball convex portions 3-4 may also improve the comfort of the user.

In addition, in order to ensure a more comfortable touch feeling of the electronic cigarette, the jacket in this embodiment is a rubber jacket. In this way, the user may have a better comfortable feeling since the rubber jacket is soft. The jacket may also be made of other soft materials, such as EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer) material.

It is to be noted that, the swing ball convex portions 3-4 in this embodiment are distributed on the entire outer surface of the jacket, and the swing ball convex portions 3-4 may also be arranged at a part of the outer surface of the jacket according to habits, for instance, the swing ball convex portions 3-4 may be arranged near the end, configured to be connected to the first main body, of the second main body.

Fourth Embodiment

Reference is made to FIGS. 9 and 10, FIG. 9 is a schematic view showing the structure of an electronic cigarette of a separated structure according to the fourth embodiment of the present application, and FIG. 10 is a schematic view showing the structure of the electronic cigarette shown in FIG. 9.

In this embodiment, the electronic cigarette includes a first main body 4-1 and a second main body 4-2. The first main body 4-1 is provided with an atomization device and components for ensuring the normal operation of the atomization device, such as a tar storage cotton. The first main body 4-1 has one end provided with a suction nozzle, and the other end provided with a threaded portion 4-5. The second main body 4-2 has one end provided with a lamp cap 4-3, and the other end provided with a thread configured to cooperate with the threaded portion 4-5 of the first main body 4-1. The lamp cap 4-3 is electrically connected to a battery assembly arranged in the second main body 4-2, and the first main body 4-1 is detachably connected to the second main body 4-2 via the threaded connection.

The second main body 4-2 further includes a jacket, which is arranged at an outer surface of the second main body 4-2. An outer surface of the jacket is provided with spherical convex portions 4-4, which are distributed at a portion near an end, configured to be connected to the first main body 4-1, of the second main body 4-2.

When using the electronic cigarette, due to the arranged spherical convex portions 4-2, fingers of a user may contact the spherical convex portions 4-2, which may increase the friction between the fingers and the jacket, thereby effectively preventing the electronic cigarette from falling off from the fingers of the user in use.

In addition, in order to ensure a more comfortable touch feeling of the electronic cigarette, the jacket in this embodiment is a rubber jacket. In this way, the user may have a better comfortable feeling since the rubber jacket is soft. The jacket may also be made of other soft materials, such as EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer) material.

It is to be noted that, the spherical convex portions 4-4 in this embodiment are arranged near the end, configured to be connected to the first main body 4-1, of the second main body 4-2 according to habits, and the spherical convex portions 4-4 may also be distributed on the entire outer surface of the jacket.

Specific implementations of the friction portion are described herein through the above four embodiments, and the friction portion may also be realized in other manners.

In each embodiment described hereinabove, a rod of the electronic cigarette includes the first main body and the second main body. The rod may also be an integrated rod, that is, an atomization device and a battery assembly are both arranged in the rod, a jacket is arranged at an outer surface of the rod, and an outer surface of the jacket is provided with the friction portion according to the embodiments described hereinabove.

The electronic cigarette according to the present application is described in detail hereinbefore. The principle and the embodiments of the present application are illustrated herein by specific examples. The above description of examples is only intended to help the understanding of the method and the spirit of the present application. It should be noted that, for the person skilled in the art, many modifications and improvements may be made to the present application without departing from the principle of the present application, and these modifications and improvements are also deemed to fall into the protection scope of the present application defined by the claims.

Claims

1. An electronic cigarette, comprising a rod having an atomization device and a battery assembly, wherein the electronic cigarette further comprises a jacket, the jacket is arranged on an outer surface of the rod, and an outer surface of the jacket is provided with a friction portion.

2. The electronic cigarette according to claim 1, wherein the friction portion is distributed on the entire outer surface of the jacket.

3. The electronic cigarette according to claim 1, wherein the rod comprises a first main body and a second main body, the first main body and the second main body are configured to be detachably connected, the atomization device is arranged in the first main body, and the battery assembly is arranged in the second main body.

4. The electronic cigarette according to claim 3, wherein the jacket is arranged on the second main body, and the friction portion is arranged at an end of the jacket near the first main body.

5. The electronic cigarette according to claim 2, wherein the friction portion is spherical convex portions.

6. The electronic cigarette according to claim 2, wherein the friction portion is annular convex portions distributed in a spiral shape.

7. The electronic cigarette according to claim 2, wherein the friction portion is swingable swing ball convex portions.

8. The electronic cigarette according to claim 2, wherein the friction portion is spherical convex portions.

9. The electronic cigarette according to claim 1, wherein the jacket is a rubber jacket.

10. The electronic cigarette according to claim 1, wherein the jacket is a jacket made of ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer material.

11. The electronic cigarette according to claim 4, wherein the friction portion is spherical convex portions.

12. The electronic cigarette according to claim 4, wherein the friction portion is annular convex portions distributed in a spiral shape.

13. The electronic cigarette according to claim 4, wherein the friction portion is swingable swing ball convex portions.

14. The electronic cigarette according to claim 4, wherein the friction portion is spherical convex portions.
