BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of Invention

The present invention relates to a waterproof backpack that may be used for school supplies.

2. Description of Related Art

Many school children use some type of backpack to transport books and supplies to and from school. Many of these backpacks contain multiple pockets and other accessories in order to conveniently transport supplies, lunch and in certain instances beverages back and forth to the school. Many of the backpacks come with straps that may be placed over the shoulders of a user and conveniently transported by the user. One of the drawbacks of the backpack is the inability to protect the interior from moisture. On occasion school children may be caught in inclement weather such as rain or snow and therefore there is a higher likelihood that any interior items stored in the bag may become wet due to exposure to the weather conditions. As a result, it would be advantageous to have a backpack or school bag that includes waterproof materials and completely waterproof sealing openings.
