A toilet cleaning agent container installed inside a toilet bowl of a flushing-type western-style toilet with a vortex (tornado type), the container dissolving the agent at a proper concentration with little staining. The container includes: one or more cleaning water inlets on a side surface of a toilet bowl installation side; one or more cleaning water outlets on an upper surface; one or more liquid chemical outlets on a lower surface; and one or more spacers on the side surface. Moreover, two or more spaces partitioned by a partitioning plate are provided inside the container, at least one of the spaces is an agent dissolving chamber, at least one thereof is a cleaning water flow rate regulating-chamber, an opening part for connecting said chambers may be provided in a part of the partitioning plate, and a guiding plate for cleaning water may be provided in the cleaning water inlet.

Description
TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention relates to a cleaning agent container installed in a toilet in which cleaning water flows in a tornado form.

This application claims the priority to Japanese Patent Application No. 2013-240815, filed Nov. 21, 2013, the contents of which are incorporated by reference herein.

BACKGROUND ART

An increasing number of recent western-style toilets flush cleaning water in western-style toilet in a vortex form (tornado type) for the improvement of a cleaning effect and water saving. Consequently, stain on a toilet bowl is reduced due to a faster flow rate of the cleaning water, and a type of cleaning agent that is put inside or on top of a cleaning tank is becoming obsolete due to the absence of the cleaning tank. However, in service areas in expressways, large exhibition sites, movie theaters and the like, for example, cleaning of such toilets has been insufficient because a large number of users use the toilets in a short time.

Therefore, in order to improve a cleaning effect using a liquid chemical, there are known an automatic cleaning device (Patent Document 1), a device that ejects a liquid chemical with pressing force generated when sitting down (Patent Document 2), and the like. However, the automatic device has a complex mechanism. The device using the pressing force generated when sitting down cannot cause the liquid chemical to flow simultaneously with flushing cleaning water.

Moreover, the present inventors have installed a commercially available cleaning agent container which contains a solid agent into a western-style toilet bowl of a tornado type. Nevertheless, the flow rate of cleaning water was too fast, so that the cleaning agent was harshly dissolved in the container, which causes the cleaning agent to be consumed in a short time. In addition, there arose such a phenomenon that the cleaning water hits the container, causing a splash. Although the inlet of the cleaning water was narrowed to adjust the amount and the flow rate of water coming into the container, the adjustment was difficult. Moreover, although the cleaning water less splashed and the dissolution of the cleaning agent was slowed down when the container was installed separately from the toilet bowl wall surface to reduce the contact with the cleaning water, the container itself was gradually stained, which caused a hygienic environment of the container to deteriorate.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Object to be Solved by the Invention

An object of the present invention is to provide a toilet cleaning agent container installed inside a toilet bowl of a flushing-type western-style toilet or the like with a vortex (tornado type), the container being capable of dissolving the agent at a proper concentration, the container itself hardly being stained.

Means to Solve the Object

The present inventors have intensively studied the aforementioned problem to be solved and completed the invention along with the following knowledge on the aforementioned toilet cleaning agent container: cleaning water can be prevented from splashing; cleaning water having flowed into the container other than cleaning water needed for dissolving the agent is discharged from the upper part of the container, and thereby, the agent can be dissolved with a proper amount of water; furthermore, the cleaning water discharged from the upper part of the container cleans the container itself, which can maintain cleanliness of the container; and furthermore, after the cleaning water is completed to flow out, the liquid chemical in the container can efficiently clean a water reservoir part which tends to be stained due to the liquid chemical that is not diluted with the cleaning water flowing into the water reservoir part in the toilet bowl lower part, by the liquid chemical flowing out from a discharge outlet in the container lower part.

Specifically, the present invention relates to:

(1) A cleaning agent container to install on a wall surface inside a tornado-type toilet bowl, the container comprising: one or more cleaning water inlets on side surface of a toilet bowl installation side of the container; one or more cleaning water outlets on an upper surface of the container; one or more liquid chemical outlets on a lower surface of the container; and one or more spacers on the side surface of the container;
(2) The cleaning agent container according to (1), wherein two or more spaces partitioned by a partitioning plate are provided inside the container, at least one of the spaces is an agent dissolving-chamber, at least one thereof is a cleaning water flow rate regulating-chamber, wherein an opening part for connecting the cleaning water flow rate regulating-chamber and the agent dissolving-chamber is provided in a part of the partitioning plate, and a guiding plate for cleaning water is provided in the cleaning water inlet;
(3) The cleaning agent container according to (1) or (2), further comprising a rectification fin on the side surface of the toilet bowl installation side of the container. (4) The cleaning agent container according to any one of (1) to (3), wherein the cleaning water outlet is provided on an upper surface of the cleaning water flow rate regulating-chamber; and
(5) The cleaning agent container according to any one of (1) to (4), wherein the liquid chemical outlet is provided on a lower surface of the agent dissolving-chamber.

Effect of the Invention

The toilet cleaning agent container of the present invention can be installed in a western-style toilet or the like in which cleaning water comes out in a tornado form, and when the cleaning water is flushed after excretion, it can draw a part of the cleaning water inside of itself to prepare a liquid chemical, and discharge the liquid chemical from the container to clean the toilet bowl with the liquid chemical.

In particular, since the outlet of the liquid chemical is small, a part of the liquid chemical in the container flows into a water reservoir part in the toilet bowl lower part without being diluted with the cleaning water after the cleaning water is completed to flow out. Hence, the water reservoir portion which tends to be stained can be efficiently cleaned.

Moreover, since water other than that needed for dissolving the agent is discharged from the upper part of the container, the agent can be dissolved with a proper amount of water. Furthermore, since the cleaning water is discharged from the upper part of the container, cleanliness of the container can be maintained because the container cleans itself.

MODE OF CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION

In the present invention, “tornado-type toilet” means a toilet of flushing type with a toilet seat for sitting directly (western-style toilet) or a similar toilet, wherein cleaning water flows on the margin of a toilet bowl and gradually flows to the inside of the toilet bowl. Therefore, the tornado type does not include one in which water free falls from the margin of the toilet bowl into the back of the toilet bowl.

“Cleaning water” relates to water for the purpose of flushing excrement out from the interior of a toilet in the toilet such as the western-style toilet, and designates water automatically or manually flowing in the toilet bowl.

“Agent” relates to a solid substance contained in the container of the present invention to make a liquid chemical and contains a medicinal ingredient in regard to cleaning.

“Liquid chemical” relates to a liquid having the agent in the cleaning agent container of the present invention dissolved in the cleaning water. In the case where the cleaning water has already contained a cleaning ingredient before the agent in the cleaning agent container is dissolved, the cleaning water before the agent in the cleaning agent container is dissolved is not called the liquid chemical stated in the present invention.

In the following, the cleaning agent container of the present invention is described along with the appended drawings. The technical scope of the cleaning agent container of the present invention is not limited to the appended drawings. Notably, the numerals in the parentheses show the numbers in the appended drawings.

(Cleaning Agent Container)

The cleaning agent container of the present invention may be freely detachably installed on the margin of the toilet bowl using a member such as a metal fitting and a band (FIG. 12). The container has one or more cleaning water inlets (4) on its side surface on the side in contact with the toilet bowl, one or more cleaning water outlets (5) on its upper surface, and one or more liquid chemical outlets (6) on its lower surface.

Notably, herein, the upper surface, the lower surface and the side surface are defined to be an upward surface as the upper surface, to be a downward surface as the lower surface, and to be a lateral as the side surface, respectively, in the state where the container is installed in the toilet. The surface is not necessarily a flat plane in particular but may be a curved surface. A portion substantially seen when the container is seen from the above is the upper surface. A portion substantially seen when the container is seen from the below is the lower surface. A portion substantially seen when the container is seen from the side is the side surface.

While the cleaning agent container of the present invention is typically substantially a cabinet, it may be spherical or egg-shaped. When the container is spherical or egg-shaped, the upper surface and the side surface are to have a portion overlapping with each other.

Inside the container, there are provided an agent dissolving-chamber (8) for containing a cleaning agent and dissolving the agent with cleaning water flowing therein, and a cleaning water flow rate regulating-chamber (9) for temporarily pooling the cleaning water flowing therein from a cleaning water inlet and sending cleaning water that overflows into the agent dissolving-chamber.

“Cleaning water inlet” is an inlet for taking in the cleaning water into the container.

“Cleaning water outlet” is an outlet provided on the upper surface for discharging cleaning water in the container other than cleaning water for dissolving the agent to the outside of the container.

“Liquid chemical outlet” is an outlet for discharging the liquid chemical. The liquid chemical outlet preferably has a diameter of 2 mm or more. When it is smaller, the liquid chemical is hardly discharged due to surface tension. Moreover, when the liquid chemical outlet is too large, an amount of the liquid chemical that flows out after the cleaning water is completed to flow becomes small. When the liquid chemical pooled in the container flows out in 2 to 10 seconds, preferably 3 to 6 seconds, by adjusting, in a timely manner, the pooled liquid chemical amount and the dimension of the liquid chemical outlet, the toilet bowl can be efficiently cleaned.

Moreover, the sum total of the areas of the cleaning water outlets and the sum total of the areas of the liquid chemical outlets are not specially limited but the sum total of the areas of the cleaning water outlets is preferably larger than the sum total of the areas of the liquid chemical outlets, preferably 2 to 10 times larger than that, further preferably 3 to 6 times. A large part of the cleaning water taken in the container flows out from the cleaning water outlet on the upper surface, and is used for cleaning the outer surface of the container. The liquid chemical having the agent dissolved flows out from the liquid chemical outlet on the lower surface, is diluted with the cleaning water to clean the wall surface of the toilet bowl during the cleaning water flowing. After the cleaning water is completed to flow, the liquid chemical remaining in the container flows out without being diluted with the cleaning water, flows into the water reservoir part in the lower part of the toilet bowl, can efficiently clean the water reservoir part which tends to be stained.

Moreover, the wall surface of the container can have one or more spacers. “Spacer” is installed between the container wall surface and the toilet bowl wall surface and prevents the entirety of the container from coming into close contact with the toilet bowl wall surface. The shape of the spacer is not specially limited but preferably a shape having less resistance of water. Examples thereof can include a streamline shape, a circular shape, a semispherical shape and a linear shape. Moreover, the material of the spacer may be the same as that of the container. In order to improve a cushion property with respect to the toilet bowl, a material such as silicon rubber, natural rubber and flexible plastics can be used. In order to enhance strength, a material such as metal can be used. While the spacer can be installed separately from a guiding plate and a rectification fin mentioned below, the guiding plate and the rectification fin mentioned below can be alternatively used for the spacer.

While the liquid chemical outlet is typically installed on the container bottom surface, the liquid chemical outlet can be installed at a higher level than a bottom part of the container by installing a pipe to the liquid chemical outlet. In this way, a liquid chemical reservoir can be provided. Moreover, by making the pipe into an S-shape to be a siphon system, the cleaning water can be temporarily pooled in the agent dissolving-chamber, and after dissolving the agent, it can be discharged as the liquid chemical (FIG. 10).

The container of the present invention has an agent inlet/outlet for putting in and taking out the agent. As a structure for it, the upper surface or an upper part of the main body (3) including the upper surface may be configured to be a freely detachable lid (2). The container may be configured to be able to be vertically taken apart into two or more. The lid and the main body, or the container portions taken apart, may be configured so as to be separated or the ends thereof may be freely rotatably attached to an axis.

The upper surface or the lid of the container can be configured to have a portion of the cleaning water outlet be higher than the periphery, so that the cleaning water easily flows off to the periphery.

(Partitioning Plate)

The main body has two or more spaces partitioned by a vertical partitioning plate (7). The partitioning plate has an opening part, in its portion, which connects the agent dissolving-chamber and the cleaning water flow rate regulating-chamber mentioned below to cause the cleaning water and the like to flow therethrough. For example, the opening part for the cleaning water and the liquid chemical flowing therethrough can be provided in the upper portion of the partitioning plate. In this case, the height of the partitioning plate is not specially limited but the flow rate can be smaller when it is high since it narrows the opening part, and the flow rate can be larger when it is low since it broadens the opening part. The partitioning plate may be installed in the main body or may be installed on the upper surface. When installed on the upper surface, a portion in contact with and a portion not in contact with the upper surface are provided and the opening part is secured in the portion not in contact. The partitioning plate can be configured to be in contact with the upper surface in its entirety and to have the opening part in a lower part of the partitioning plate. Moreover, by increasing the partitioning plates, the number of the spaces can be increased. Increasing the number of the spaces enables the agents to be located at two or more places (FIG. 8). When the agents can be located at two or more places, the agents can be sequentially put in at certain periods, and thereby, shortage of the agents can be prevented.

(Agent Dissolving-Chamber)

At least one of the spaces is the “agent dissolving-chamber”(8). A solid agent can be located in the agent dissolving-chamber. The number of the agents is not specially limited but only has to be one or more. Protrusions may be provided on the bottom surface of the agent dissolving-chamber to place the agent on the protrusions. In the case of including the protrusions, a space is present between the solid agent and the main body, and therefore, the cleaning water flows therethrough, which facilitates dissolving the agent. Moreover, since the agent does not come into close contact with the main body, the agent can be prevented from sticking to the main body. The shape of the protrusion may be trapezoidal, circular cylindrical, trigonal pyramidal, conical, thin and long rod-shaped, or geometrically patterned, although not specially limited. The number of the protrusions is not specially limited but only has to be one or more.

The agent dissolving-chamber can have a recess (liquid chemical reservoir (14)) in its bottom part (FIG. 9). The liquid chemical reservoir enables the liquid chemical to be reserved. This liquid chemical serves as the liquid chemical with cleaning water when the cleaning water flows in next time. Hence, a liquid chemical at low concentration can be prevented from being discharged in the first stage of the cleaning water flowing in.

(Cleaning Water Flow Rate Regulating-Chamber)

At least one of the spaces is the “cleaning water flow rate regulating-chamber” (9). The cleaning water flow rate regulating-chamber has one or more inlets through which the cleaning water flows in and one or more ports through which the cleaning water is discharged. The cleaning water flow rate regulating-chamber is provided for making a flow of the flowing-in cleaning water weak and supplying a part thereof to the agent dissolving-chamber. A way of weakening the flow of the flowing-in cleaning water is to discharge a part of the cleaning water to a place except the agent dissolving-chamber. To this end, one or more cleaning water outlets are provided on the upper surface of the container (FIG. 2). Another way thereof is to bring the position of the cleaning water outlet close to the position of the cleaning water inlet provided on the side surface. As still another way, the shape of the partitioning plate between the cleaning water flow rate regulating-chamber and the agent dissolving-chamber can be made an L-shape into a structure in which the cleaning water does not directly hit the agent (FIG. 6). Furthermore, there can be provided two partitioning plates between the cleaning water flow rate regulating-chamber and the agent dissolving-chamber, where an opening part is provided in one's upper part, an opening part is provided in the other's lower part and the gap between both partitioning plates is narrowed (FIG. 7).

(Guiding Plate)

The container of the present invention has the guiding plate (10) in the vicinity of the cleaning water inlet. The guiding plate only has to have a shape such that the cleaning water flowing on the wall surface of the toilet is efficiently guided inside the container and, for example, can be provided with a protrusion downstream of the cleaning water inlet with respect to the flow of the cleaning water. The cleaning water hits the guiding plate, which changes the direction of the flow of the cleaning water, and thereby, can be guided inside the container. The guiding plate preferably comes into contact with the interior wall surface of the toilet when the container is installed in the toilet, although not specially limited. The larger the guiding plate is, the more the cleaning water can be guided. The smaller it is, the less the cleaning water can be made. While the guiding plate is preferably oblique to the flow of the cleaning water, it may be installed to hit perpendicularly. In the case of installing obliquely, an angle formed by the container side surface and the guiding plate is preferably 30° to 60°, although not specially limited. One or more guiding plates are provided in the vicinity of the cleaning water inlet.

(Rectification Fin)

The rectification fin (11) can be installed on the side surface of the toilet bowl installation side of the container. “Rectification fin” is a fin provided upstream of the cleaning water inlet with respect to the flow of the cleaning water. This enables the cleaning water to be easily introduced in the cleaning water inlet. Moreover, in the case where the rectification fin comes into contact with the wall surface inside the toilet, a space can be provided between the container and the wall surface, which can introduce the cleaning water in the cleaning water inlet without obstructing the flow thereof. While there may be sufficient one or more rectification fins, three fins are preferably provided. The shape of the rectification fin is preferably a streamline shape, although not specially limited. It may be sufficient to be able to perform the rectification or provide a space between the container and the wall surface.

(Installation Member)

When the container of the present invention is to be installed in a western-style toilet, an installation member is used. The installation member may be firmly attached to the container or may be detachably attached thereto. Moreover, it may be constituted of a plurality of members.

In order to prevent the cleaning water from hitting the container to splash, the container can be installed separate from the toilet bowl wall surface. To this end, a spacer with a dimension not to disturb the flow of the cleaning water can be provided on a surface, of the container, that comes into contact with the toilet bowl wall surface. Moreover, the installation member can be configured into a structure with which the container can be installed separate from the toilet bowl surface.

As an example of the installation member, two L-shaped members (12) can be provided on a side surface of the container, that is on the opposite side to the toilet wall surface. Between these two L-shaped members, a plate-shaped member can be configured to be inserted. In this case, the shape of the opposite side of the plate-shaped member is made a U-shape, which enables hooking on the margin of a western-style toilet (FIG. 12).

(Agent)

The agent is not specially limited but is a solid agent (13) containing a compound having a cleaning effect. The agent may be a tablet preparation or a molten molding tablet. The agent only has to be prepared in an optimum method to the composition of the agent in proper timing.

A component contained in the agent only has to contain a compound having a cleaning effect, preferably containing a non-ionic surfactant or an ionic surfactant. Furthermore, a deodorizing component, a flavoring agent, a coloring component and the like can be added thereto.

(Ionic Surfactant)

As the ionic surfactant, an anionic surfactant is preferable. Specifically, sulfate salts such as a polyoxyethylenelauryl sulfate salt and carboxylate salts such as a myristate salt or the like may be exemplified.

A content of the ionic surfactant is 10 to 90 wt % with respect to the weight of all of the compositions, preferably 20 to 70 wt %, further preferably 30 to 50 wt %.

(Non-Ionic Surfactant)

As non-ionic surfactants, a copolymer of propylene oxide and ethylene oxide, polyoxyethylene nonylphenol ether, alkyltrimethylammonium bromide and polyethylene glycol or the like may be exemplified.

A content of the non-ionic surfactant is 10 to 90 wt % with respect to the weight of all of the compositions, preferably 20 to 70 wt %, further preferably 30 to 50 wt %.

(Deodorizing Component)

The deodorizing component is not specially limited as long as it is a deodorizing component that can be diffused in water. The deodorizing component that can be diffused in water is a deodorizing component that can be dissolved in water, a deodorizing component that can be dispersed in water, or the like.

As deodorizing component that can be dissolved in water, quaternary ammonium salts, catechin, tannin, amino acids or the like may be exemplified.

As deodorizing component that can be dispersed in water, charcoal, activated carbon or the like may be exemplified.

The deodorizing component is preferably a quaternary ammonium salt.

A content of the deodorizing component is 0.001 to wt % with respect to the weight of all of the compositions, preferably 0.002 to 1 wt %, further preferably 0.005 to 0.1 wt %.

(Flavoring Agent)

The flavoring agent is not specially limited as long as it affords favorable aroma. For the article of the present invention, a vegetable flavoring agent is preferable and eucalyptus essential oil is further preferable.

As vegetable flavoring agents, anise essential oil, angelica essential oil, ylang-ylang essential oil, iris essential oil, fennel essential oil, orange essential oil, cananga essential oil, caraway essential oil, cardamom essential oil, guaiacum wood essential oil, cumin essential oil, lindera essential oil, cinnamon essential oil, cinnamon essential oil, geranium essential oil, copaiba balsam essential oil, coriander essential oil, perilla essential oil, cedarwood essential oil, citronella essential oil, jasmine essential oil, ginger glass essential oil, cedar essential oil, spearmint essential oil, western peppermint essential oil, star anise essential oil, tuberose essential oil, clove essential oil, bitter orange flower essential oil, wintergreen essential oil, Tolu balsam essential oil, patchouli essential oil, rose essential oil, palmarosa essential oil, hinoki essential oil, hiba essential oil, sandalwood essential oil, petitgrain essential oil, bay essential oil, vetiver essential oil, bergamot essential oil, Peruvian balsam essential oil, bois de rose essential oil, Cinnamomum camphora essential oil, mandarin essential oil, eucalyptus essential oil, lime essential oil, lavender essential oil, linaloe essential oil, lemon grass essential oil, lemon essential oil, rosemary essential oil, Japanese mint essential oil or the like may be exemplified.

A content of the flavoring agent is 0.01 to 10.0 wt % with respect to the weight of all of the compositions, preferably 0.1 to 5.0 wt %, further preferably 0.2 to 1.5 wt %.

(Coloring Component)

The coloring component is not specially limited but is preferably water-soluble. Moreover, the coloring component itself may have a deodorizing effect, an effect of the flavoring agent, a cleaning effect and a similar effect.

Embodiment

The article of the present invention can be used for a flushing toilet, in particular, a western-style toilet. The western-style flushing toilet is not specially limited but preferably a western-style toilet in which cleaning water flows in a tornado form. Also in the case of a toilet of a type in which cleaning water falls from the margin of the toilet down to the inside thereof, it can also be used by changing the installation position of the guiding plate which is installed in the cleaning water inlet.

Moreover, while the description has been made, assuming that the flow of water is counterclockwise, one in which left and right are reversed can be used when the water is clockwise.

In the following, experimental examples of the article of the present invention are shown.

Experimental Example 1

The article of the present invention which is shown in appended FIGS. 2 to 5 and in which the agent (containing 30 mass % of myristic acid) is contained was installed in a western-style toilet (Type No.: TCF9563R, TOTO Ltd.), and cleaning water was flushed several times. After that, the water in the western-style toilet was sampled and served for quantitative analysis of myristic acid, which gave the value of 0.01 mass %. This value was a sufficient value for sufficiently cleaning the toilet bowl, and it was confirmed that the article of the present invention could supply the liquid chemical.

Experimental Example 2

The aforementioned article of the present invention was continuously used for one month (cleaning water was flushed approximately 100 times). After that, when the container surface was visually confirmed, sticking of excrement and the like and other stain could not confirmed. Thus, it was confirmed that a function of cleaning the container itself was included therein.

Claims

1. A cleaning agent container to install on a wall surface inside a tornado-type toilet bowl, the container comprising: one or more cleaning water inlets on a side surface of a toilet bowl installation side of the container; one or more cleaning water outlets on an upper surface of the container; one or more liquid chemical outlets on a lower surface of the container; and one or more spacers on the side surface of the container.

The cleaning agent container according to claim 1, wherein two or more spaces partitioned by a partitioning plate are provided inside the container, at least one of the spaces is an agent dissolving-chamber, at least one of the spaces is a cleaning water flow rate regulating-chamber, wherein an opening part for connecting the cleaning water flow rate regulating-chamber and the agent dissolving-chamber is provided in a part of the partitioning plate, and a guiding plate for cleaning water is provided in the cleaning water inlet.

3. The cleaning agent container according to claim 1, further comprising a rectification fin on the side surface of the toilet bowl installation side of the container.

4. The cleaning agent container according to 1, wherein the cleaning water outlet is provided on an upper surface of the cleaning water flow rate regulating-chamber.

5. The cleaning agent container according to claim 1, wherein the liquid chemical outlet is provided on a lower surface of the agent dissolving-chamber.
