Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Technical Field

The present invention relates to bags for holding golf clubs, and more particularly to an assembled golf bag.

2. Description of Related Art

A convention golf bag for receiving golf clubs is typically a long-shaped bag body having atop an opening. The opening is equipped with an upper frame, and a base is attached to the lower end of the bag body. Presently the upper frame and the base are combined with the bag body by sewing. While this approach is practical, the upper frame and the base are fixed to the bag body and the entire golf bag cannot be reduced in terms of size for easy transportation and storage. For addressing this problem, some have proposed assembled structures that use zippers and/or snap-fastener to detachably attach the upper frame and the base to the bag body. However, the known structures are somehow defective and the base tends to come off when carrying heavy load.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

With the attempt to improve the prior art, the present invention provides an assembled golf bag that is easy to assemble/disassemble and when assembled is firm and load-bearing because the upper frame/base and the bag body are combined with high strength.

To this end, the disclosed assembled golf bag comprises a bag body that has an upper edge, a lower edge, and two vertical edges. The two vertical edges are between the upper edge and the lower edge. The upper edge and the lower edge are peripherally provided with plural slots that penetrate the bag body. The assembled golf bag further includes an upper frame that has a circular frame body and is provided with a plurality of fasteners at its outer lateral wall. Each of the fasteners has a flat turn configured to pass through a corresponding slot at the upper edge of the bag body. The assembled golf bag further includes a base having an inner bottom and a lateral wall circling the inner bottom. The lateral wall is externally peripherally provided with a plurality of fasteners. Each of the fasteners has a flat turn configured to pass through a corresponding slot at the lower edge of the bag body.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Two preferred embodiment will be detailed with reference to the accompanying draws for further illustrating the present invention.

Referring to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, in the first embodiment of the present invention, the disclosed assembled golf bag comprises a bag body (10), an upper frame (20), a base (30), and a plurality of backbones (40).

The bag body (10) may be made of a flexible material such as cloth or plastic sheets. The bag body (10) is long in shape and has an upper edge (11), a lower edge (12), and two vertical edges (13). The two vertical edges (13) are located between the upper edge (11) and the lower edge (12). The bag body (10), when bent to form a tube, having the two vertical edges (13) adjoining each other. The two vertical edges (13) are combined by a zipper (14). When the zipper (14) is unzippered, the two vertical edges (13) can be separated. When the zipper (14) is zippered, the two vertical edges (13) are bonded with each other via the zipper (14). Each of the upper edge (11) and the lower edge (12) is peripherally provided with a plurality of slots (15). The slots (15) penetrate the bag body (10) and have their major axes parallel to the upper edge (11) and the lower edge (12), as shown in FIG. 2, or, alternatively, parallel to the two vertical edges (13), as shown in FIG. 5.

The upper frame (20) has a circular frame body (21), and has a lateral wall whose outer periphery is provided with a plurality of fasteners (22). Each of the fasteners (22) has a flat turn that is long in shape. When the upper frame (20) is attached to the upper edge (11) of the bag body, the flat turns of the fasteners (22) can pass through the corresponding slots (15) at the upper edge of the bag body, and then be turned to get caught by the slots (15) and retained outside the bag body (10) so that the upper frame (20) and the bag body (10) are assembled, as shown in FIG. 3 and FIG. 4. The upper frame (20) is equipped with a grid (23) that divides an area circled by the upper frame (20) into several segments so that clubs placed therein can be arranged in kinds. The upper frame (20) is provided with a plurality of backbone sockets (24).

The base (30) has an inner bottom (31) and a lateral wall (32) circling the inner bottom. An outer periphery of the lateral wall (32) is provided with a plurality of fasteners (33). Each of the fasteners has a long-shaped flat turn. The base (30) has a plurality of backbone sockets (34). When the base (30) is attached to the lower edge (12) of the bag body, the flat turns of the fasteners (33) can pass through the corresponding slots (15) at the lower edge (12) of the bag body, and then be turned to get caught by the slots (15) and retained outside the bag body (10) so that the base (30) and the bag body (10) are assembled.

The backbones (40) each have an upper end received in the corresponding backbone socket (24) of the upper frame and a lower end received in the corresponding backbone socket (34) of the base (30) so that the upper frame (20) and the base (30) are kept away from each other by a constant distance. The backbone sockets (24) of the upper frame (20), the backbone sockets (34) of the base (30), and the backbones (40) are quantitatively identical.

With the configuration as described above, the present invention allows the golf bag to be easily assembled/disassembled by operating the fasteners and attaching/detaching the upper frame (20) and the base (30) to/from the bag body (10), for use/convenient and space-saving storage and transportation. In addition, since the bag body (10) is combined with the upper frame (20) and base (30) through the flat turns of the fasteners, the combination is firm and the upper frame (20) and the base (30) are unlikely to accidently come off the bag body (10). This ensures the golf bag with expected capacity that prevents the golf bag from falling apart when carrying heavy golf clubs.

Furthermore, for further strengthening the combination between the bag body (10) and the upper frame (20)/base (30), in a second embodiment of the present invention, each of the slots (15) of the upper edge (11) and the lower edge (12) of the bag body is equipped with a positioning plate (16), as shown in FIG. 6 and FIG. 7. The positioning plate (16) circles the slot (15) so that the turned flat turn of the fastener comes to abut against and get retained by the positioning plate (16), as shown in FIG. 7. With the positioning plates (16), the bag body (10) is protected from having the cloth near the slots becoming broken, and the combination between the upper frame (20) or the base (30) with the bag body (10) can be secured.
