A face lifter comprises an elastic band surrounding a user's face along an edge of the user's face from the chin of the user to the forehead and including ear rings respectively formed at two opposite sides of the elastic band and a hair net provided backward the elastic band and holding a back of the user's head, wherein the elastic band is shaped as an elliptical ring, wherein a chin rest protrudes in a width direction thereof from a lower portion of the elastic band to surround a front and lower portion of the user's chin, and wherein the elastic band has a decreasing thickness and an increasing elastic force to the user's chin.

CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS

This patent application claims priority under 35 U.S.C. §119 to Korean Utility Model Registration Application No. 20-2015-0003137, filed on May 15, 2015, in the Korean Intellectual Property Office, the disclosure of which is incorporated by reference herein in its entirety.

TECHNICAL FIELD

The disclosure concerns a device or instrument for elevating sagging face skin, and more specifically, to a face lifter that may be put on the user's head, specifically, face or hair, to pull up the face skin to thereby mitigate face sagging.

DISCUSSION OF RELATED ART

As human beings age, they experience face sagging. For face lifting purposes, various methods may come in use, such as surgery, cosmetics, drugs, or whatsoever. However, such approaches may be expensive and may be risky in that they may cause side effects. An alternative way is the use of a face lifting mask or similar devices. In many cases, however, such may cause skin troubles or inflammation. As a natural way to face lifting, one may tie up his/her hair for a predetermined period of time, e.g., while he/she is in sleep. However, this might be not a good choice for achieving the goal of looking younger because it may do damage to the hair or even cause hair loss. Therefore, a need exists for a better approach to better results while eliminating such issues.

SUMMARY

According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a face lifter comprises an elastic band surrounding a user's face along an edge of the user's face from the chin of the user to the forehead and including ear rings respectively formed at two opposite sides of the elastic band and a hair net provided backward the elastic band and holding a back of the user's head. The elastic band may be shaped as an elliptical ring. A chin rest may protrude in a width direction thereof from a lower portion of the elastic band to surround a front and lower portion of the user's chin. The elastic band may have a decreasing thickness and an increasing elastic force to the user's chin.

The elastic band may include two ends separated from each other. The two ends of the elastic band include Velcro™ members, respectively, which may be detachably coupled.

One of the two ends of the elastic band may include the chin rest protruding in the width direction thereof to surround the front and lower portions of the user's chin, and the other of the two ends of the elastic band includes a first coupler surrounding the front portion of the user's chin and a second coupler spaced apart from the first coupler in parallel with the first coupler to surround the lower portion of the user's chin.

The hair net may include an opened lower end to be covered on the user's head. A circumferential length of the hair net may be adjusted by a fastening string.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF EXEMPLARY EMBODIMENTS

Hereinafter, exemplary embodiments of the inventive concept will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. The inventive concept, however, may be modified in various different ways, and should not be construed as limited to the embodiments set forth herein. As used herein, the singular forms “a,” “an,” and “the” are intended to include the plural forms as well, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise. It will be understood that when an element or layer is referred to as being “on,” “connected to,” “coupled to,” or “adjacent to” another element or layer, it can be directly on, connected, coupled, or adjacent to the other element or layer, or intervening elements or layers may be present.

FIG. 1 is a front view illustrating a face lifter according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. FIG. 2 is a side view illustrating a face lifter put on a user's head according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. FIG. 3 is a front view illustrating a face lifter according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. FIG. 4 is a side view illustrating a face lifter put on a user's head according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. FIG. 5 is a side view illustrating a face lifter put on a user's head according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, the face lifter includes an elastic band 100 and a hair net 200.

The elastic band 100 may be shaped an elliptical ring surrounding the user's face along a circumferential part of the face from his forehead to the chin. When the face lift is put on the user's face, the elastic band 100 may come in tight contact with the facial skin while pulling the facial skin to the back of the user's head.

The elastic band 100 may be formed of an elastic material, e.g., rubber, or non-toxic silicone.

The elastic band 100 may be formed to narrow downwards, e.g., to the chin of the user while providing an increasing elastic force. For example, the thickness of the elastic band 100 may decrease from an upper portion of the user's face to a lower portion. The elastic band 100 may be easily or elastically stretched when the user talks or chews food while wearing the face lifter, mitigating use inconvenience.

Ear rings 110 may protrude from two opposite sides, respectively, of the elastic band 100.

Each ear ring 110 may be shaped substantially as an arc. The ear rings 110 may be hung onto both ears of the user to help the elastic band 100 to be fastened to the user's face.

The ear rings 110 may allow the elastic band 100 to be temporarily fastened to the user's face while the hair net 200 is not completely fastened to the user's hair, thereby allowing the user to easily put the face lifter on his head.

The elastic band 100 may include a chin rest 120 at a lower portion thereof. For example, the chin rest 120 protrudes in a width direction thereof or upwards from a lower end of the elastic band 100 to surround a front and lower portion of the user's chin. The chin rest 120 may have a width larger than that of the rest of the elastic band 100 to cover or surround the front and lower portion of the user's chin, preventing the elastic band 100 from easily escaping off while pulling up the sagging skin under the chin.

According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the elastic band 100 may be separated at a lower portion thereof, leaving two lower ends that may detachably couple together.

For example, as illustrated in FIGS. 3 to 5, a lower portion of the elastic band 100 may be separated, leaving a first end and a second end that may be coupled or decoupled from the second end. The first end and second end of the elastic band 100 may be detachably coupled together via a coupler, e.g., a sticky member, tape, band, or a hook-and-loop fastener, e.g., a Velcro™ member 300. For example, the first and second ends of the elastic band 100, respectively, may have Velcro™ members 300. For example, the first end of the elastic band 100 may have hooks while the second end of the elastic band 100 may have loops, and vice versa.

The first end of the elastic band 100 may have the chin rest 120, and the second end of the elastic band 100 may have a first coupler 130 and a second coupler 140 that respectively covers or supports a front portion of the user's chin and a lower portion of the user's chin. The first coupler 130 and the second coupler 140 may be branched from a point of the elastic band 100 to have substantially the same length. The first coupler 100 and the second coupler 140 may be elongated substantially in parallel with each other.

Each of the chin rest 120, the first coupler 130, and the second coupler 140 may have such a Velcro™ member 300, allowing the chin rest 120 to independently detachably couple with each of the first coupler 130 and the second coupler 140.

As such, the elastic band 100 may be separated, and the first and second ends of the elastic band 100 may be detachably coupled together. Accordingly, the circumferential length of the elastic band 100 may be adjusted depending on the size of the user's face, and the elastic force of the elastic band 100 may be adjusted depending on the circumferential length of the elastic band 100. Therefore, the face lifting may be done as much as the user desires, leading to increased satisfaction.

The hair net 200 may be formed of substantially the same material as that used in a known hair net or mesh. A first end of the hair net 200 may be fastened to the elastic band 100, and a second end of the hair net 200 may be freely placed or hang over a side or rear portion of the user's head. The second end of the hair net 200 may be positioned opposite the first end of the hair net 200.

The hair net 200 allows the elastic band 100 worn on the user's face to be pulled to the back of the user's head while holding the user's hair.

The second end of the hair net 200 may be held or tied up with, e.g., hair pins to prevent it from being released or untied.

As such, the hair net 200 is coupled to the elastic band 100 rearwards the user's head, allowing the user to wear the face lifter in an easy or convenient manner while eliminating the need of tying up the hair. Further, the user's face may be lifted up without damaging the face skin.

Alternatively, the hair net 200 may be shaped as a sphere with a side or lower opening, and the length of the circumference thereof may be adjusted by a fastening string or strap 400 as illustrated in FIG. 6.

For example, referring to FIG. 6, the hair net 200 may be shaped as a sphere with an opening to cover the user's head. Two opposite edges of the opening of the hair net 200 may be pull together and fastened by the fastening string 400.

Each of the edges of the hair net 200 may have a plurality of through holes 210 spaced part from each other at predetermined distances and allowing the fastening string 400 to be inserted therethrough. The through holes 210 in one of the edges may be arranged to be symmetrical with the through holes 210, respectively, in the other of the edges. The fastening string 400 may be laced up, e.g., in the pattern of the letter X, and both ends of the fastening string 400 may be tied together not to be easily released.

Lacing the fastening string 400 along the two opposite sides of the hair net 200 may eliminate the need of a separate fastening pin(s). The size or tightness of the hair net 200 may be adjusted by tightening or loosening the fastening string 400 depending on the user's preference or head size. Once the size or tightness of the hair net 200 is set by the fastening string 400, the user may put on or take off in a convenient way without unlacing as if the user wears and takes off a hat.

While the inventive concept has been shown and described with reference to exemplary embodiments thereof, it will be apparent to those of ordinary skill in the art that various changes in form and detail may be made thereto without departing from the spirit and scope of the inventive concept as defined by the following claims.

Claims

1. A face lifter, comprising:

an elastic band surrounding a user's face along an edge of the user's face from the chin of the user to the forehead and including ear rings respectively formed at two opposite sides of the elastic band; and
a hair net provided backward the elastic band and holding a back of the user's head, wherein the elastic band is shaped as an elliptical ring, wherein a chin rest protrudes in a width direction thereof from a lower portion of the elastic band to surround a front and lower portion of the user's chin, and wherein the elastic band has a decreasing thickness and an increasing elastic force to the user's chin.

2. The face lifter of claim 1, wherein the elastic band includes two ends separated from each other, and wherein the two ends of the elastic band include Velcro™ members, respectively, which may be detachably coupled.

The face lifter of claim 2, wherein one of the two ends of the elastic band includes the chin rest protruding in the width direction thereof to surround the front and lower portions of the user's chin, and the other of the two ends of the elastic band includes a first coupler surrounding the front portion of the user's chin and a second coupler spaced apart from the first coupler in parallel with the first coupler to surround the lower portion of the user's chin.

4. The face lifter of claim 1, wherein the hair net includes an opened lower end to be covered on the user's head, and wherein a circumferential length of the hair net is adjustable by a fastening string.
