Finger ring with adjustable ring size
A finger ring with adjustable ring size having a ring circular in shape, wherein the ring is sectioned into several sub-sections according to radially-oriented section lines; a through hole is provided in each of the sub-sections; two ends of the through hole are positioned at two abutment surfaces of a respective sub-section respectively; a circular rubber band passes through all through holes of all the sub-sections to connect all the sub-sections into the ring.
The present invention relates to accessory items, and more specifically relates to the structural improvements of a finger ring.
A finger ring is a type of accessory wearable on basically any person's finger. Human beings have a long tradition of wearing a finger ring. Different meanings are given to different ways of wearing a finger ring in different places. A finger ring can be made by metals, gems, plastics, woods or bones etc. A ring usually refers to a circular finger ring. A ring has different sizes measured according to ring size. In modern China, ring size is expressed numerically, wherein size 5 is the smallest and size 35 is the biggest. The ring size of a person in the East usually falls within the range of size 8 to size 28. A criteria of purchasing a ring according to ring size is that the ring should be tightly fitted on the finger when it is purchased during summer, and should freely rotate about the finger but not dropping off when it is purchased in winter. Since ring sizes are fixed, it is difficult to choose a suitable ring.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONIn view of the aforesaid disadvantages now present in the prior art, the present invention provides a ring with an adjustable ring size to overcome the difficulty of choosing a suitable ring due to fixed ring sizes.
The present invention provides the following technical scheme: A finger ring with adjustable ring size, comprising a ring circular in shape; the ring is sectioned into several sub-sections according to radially-oriented section lines; a through hole is provided in each of the sub-sections; two ends of the through hole are positioned at two abutment surfaces of a respective sub-section respectively; a circular rubber band passes through all through holes of all the sub-sections to connect all the sub-sections into the ring.
The present invention has the following advantages: The present invention allows the ring to be tightened or loosened to suitably fit with different finger sizes. The present invention has a pleasant appearance and saves materials and can be made at a low cost. The present invention expands the size of the ring based on the original shape of the ring, thereby not affecting the aesthetic aspect of the ring.
In the FIGURE, reference sign 1 refers to sub-sections, reference sign 2 refers to a rubber band, reference sign 3 refers to a through hole, and reference sign 4 refers to abutment surfaces
