MULTI-LASHES WITH DIFFERENT DISTAL TIPS
Described are eyelash extensions having a plurality of lashes that are attached to be branched with one another, where at least two of the lashes have different distal tips.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION(1) Field of Invention
The present invention relates to eyelash extensions and, more particularly, to eyelash extensions having a plurality of lashes with different distal tips.
(2) Description of Related Art
Beauty products have long been known in the art. Users, women in particular, have sought a variety of beauty products to enhance their aesthetic appearance. For example, blush is often used to add color to a woman's cheeks. As another example, lipstick is traditionally used to add a variety of colors and features to a user's lips. To enhance the appearance of a user's eyelashes, some eyelash technicians apply eyelash extensions to a user's natural lashes. Traditional eyelash extensions are typically uniform, such that they all have common characteristics and distal tips.
For example and as shown in
Therefore, there is a continuing need for eyelash extensions that include multiple lashes or filaments with differently shaped distal tips.
SUMMARY OF INVENTIONThe present invention relates to eyelash extensions and, more particularly, to eyelash extensions having a plurality of lashes with different distal tips. The eyelash extension is formed of at least two filaments having a common proximal end and distinct distal tips, such that the distal tips are different from one another in shape, color, thickness or curve.
In one aspect, a first filament ends in a shape selected from a group consisting of a tapered distal tip, a tapered cut distal tip, and a blunt distal tip.
In another aspect, a second filament ends in a shape selected from a group consisting of a tapered distal tip, a tapered cut distal tip, and a blunt distal tip.
Finally, as can be appreciated by one in the art, the present invention also comprises a method for forming and using the invention described herein.
The objects, features and advantages of the present invention will be apparent from the following detailed descriptions of the various aspects of the invention in conjunction with reference to the following drawings, where:
The present invention relates to eyelash extensions and, more particularly, to eyelash extensions having a plurality of lashes (filaments) with different distal tips. The following description is presented to enable one of ordinary skill in the art to make and use the invention and to incorporate it in the context of particular applications. Various modifications, as well as a variety of uses in different applications will be readily apparent to those skilled in the art, and the general principles defined herein may be applied to a wide range of embodiments. Thus, the present invention is not intended to be limited to the embodiments presented, but is to be accorded the widest scope consistent with the principles and novel features disclosed herein.
In the following detailed, description, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a more thorough understanding of the present invention. However, it will be apparent to one skilled in the art that the present invention may be practiced without necessarily being limited to these specific details. In other instances, well-known structures and devices are shown in block diagram form, rather than in detail, in order to avoid obscuring the present invention.
The reader's attention is directed to all papers and documents which are filed concurrently with this specification and which are open to public inspection with this specification, and the contents of all such papers and documents are incorporated herein by reference. All the features disclosed in this specification, (including any accompanying claims, abstract, and drawings) may be replaced by alternative features serving the same, equivalent or similar purpose, unless expressly stated otherwise. Thus, unless expressly stated otherwise, each feature disclosed is one example only of a generic series of equivalent or similar features.
Furthermore, any element in a claim that does not explicitly state “means for” performing a specified function, or “step for” performing a specific function, is not to be interpreted as a “means” or “step” clause as specified in 35 U.S.C. Section 112, Paragraph 6. In particular, the use of “step of” or “act of” in the claims herein is not intended to invoke the provisions of 35 U.S.C. 112, Paragraph 6.
Please note, the labels left, right, front, back, top, bottom, forward, reverse, clockwise and counter clockwise have been used for convenience purposes only and are not intended to imply any particular fixed direction. Instead, they are used to reflect relative locations and/or directions between various portions of an object.
(1) DescriptionThe present invention relates to eyelash extensions and, more particularly, to eyelash extensions having a plurality of lashes (filaments) with different distal tips. As shown in

Thus and as can be appreciated by those skilled in the art, there are any number of ways of forming the eyelash extensions 200. Notably and as applicable to the present invention, the eyelash extensions 200 are formed such that they include at least two filaments 202 (or more) that are connected to one another at any location (e.g., at a proximal end forming a branch (as shown), or along the length of the filaments) and that at least two of the filaments 202 have distal tips that are dissimilar from one another in shape, color, thickness or curve.
The filaments 202 can be connected with one another using any technique, such as being conned together or separately formed and fused with one another, via, for example, glue, melting, etc.
The filaments can be formed in any number, shape, thickness, color, curve, or material so long as at least two of the distal tips are different from one another, including shapes, color, curves, thickness, features, etc. As a non-limiting example, some of the tips can be tapered, blunt (not tapered), tapered to a blunt cut, or with balls or other shapely features (e.g., hall, square, or any other shape), that can be formed or attached with the distal tips.
Claims
1. An eyelash extension, comprising:
- at least two filaments having a common proximal end and distinct distal tips, such that the distal tips are different from one another in shape, color, thickness or curve.
2. The eyelash extension as set forth in claim 1, wherein a first filament ends in a shape selected from a group consisting of a tapered distal tip, a tapered cut distal tip, and a blunt distal tip.
3. The eyelash extension as set forth in claim 2, wherein a second filament ends in a shape selected from a group consisting of a tapered distal tip, a tapered cut distal tip, and a blunt distal tip.
