ADAPTED DRILLING EQUIPMENT PLATFORM WITH MOVABLE MECHANISM FOR HOISTING AND LOWERING TRANSPORT SYSTEM, AND SYSTEM FOR LIFTING AND LOWERING OVER THE WELL HEAD

‘PROBING EQUIPMENT PLATFORM, FITTED WITH A MOBILE LIFTING AND LOWERING MECHANISM FOR TRANSPORTATION AND LIFTING AND LOWERING SYSTEM OVER THE DRILL SHAFT HEAD’ For lifting and lowering the probing platform. The mechanism has a base (9) with brackets (12) and arms (5) running in the pantographic system, connected under the platform (1) floor (1). By the brackets (12) movement, the assembled and compacted platform (I) in a warehouse may be lifted and lowered automatically to the set over the body (C) of a dolly and taken to the surface of the drill shaft head, as it is taken off and lifted automatically as well by the pantographic system of the arms (5) and positioned for the probing procedure. As soon as the probing is concluded, the platform (1) is lowered by the arms (5) and set once again automatically in the dolly body (C) by the brackets (12), as it may be brought back to the warehouse or taken to other drill shafts, and so forth for new probing procedures.

Description

The descriptive report hereof is a patent of invention request for a mechanism developed to automatically provide full mobility to the probing equipment platform, enabling it to be lifted and lowered, as it is assembled to lay it down to a dolly structure, thus taken with the drill shaft head, where it is easily lifted and lowered, likewise with its entire structure assembled. For the proposed system, the platform may be taken to consecutive drill shafts for probing procedures and it can be then positioned and retrieved (already assembled).

TECHNICAL STATUS

As it is known by probing system technicians and professionals, after making the drill shaft head, a platform is set over it, from which the column and drilling equipment are input.

Aligned to the portion prepared previously in the ground (shaft head), the drill probe has a telescopic column whose structure is positioned vertically, forming a curb from which the drilling column tooling (ring gear, water tank, tubes and other elements) shall be input to carry out the probing. As said, the column for the drilling column has a telescopic system so all its components may be retracted due to hydraulic power, and then be compacted and laid down over the platform flooring.

The platform generally must have its structure assembled over the drill shaft head, and, naturally, the transportation of the ground, ladder and handrails and its whole structure is placed in trucks until it reaches the probing place. It requires an expertise metal structure assembly service, valuable time and concerns regarding the arrival of such elements. It also occurs with the disassembly after the probing is finished, requiring assembly professionals to be hired, resulting in such steps, high operational and financial expenses.

PATENT OBJECTIVE

The mechanism hereof and the system related to it (purpose of the patent of invention request) intends to simply eliminate platform assembly and disassembly steps, that consequently may be stored or transported with its entire structured assembled (including the main probing with the compacted telescopic column laid down over its flooring). Then, the platform may be automatically lifted and lowered afterwards to be put over the dolly body and carried through the drill shaft head, as it is also retrieved and lifted automatically there, and positioned for the probing procedure. As soon as the probing is concluded, the platform is lowered and set once again automatically in the dolly body, as it may be brought hack to the storage warehouse or taken to other drill shafts, and so forth for new probing procedures.

Thus, the mechanism hereof has a receptor base in its vertices with movement brackets (horizontally and vertically). Besides, the mechanism base has attaching rails of the arm lower edges interlocked, linked through the center axle, as the arm upper edges are attached to the rails fitted under the platform flooring. The lower edges of the arms are attached to the plunger of a hydraulic piston on the mechanism base. By hydraulic power, such arms may be opened or closed, pulled or pushed by sliding through the rails in the pantographic system. While open, the arms force the platform to lift, and when they are closed, they force it to lower.

Thus composed (assembled and jointed with the compact telescopic column set over the flooring), the platform is stored in a warehouse or transported as it is lowered, i.e. with the mechanism arms open. For its transportation, the base brackets are horizontally extended in order to exceed the dolly body width, then activating the entire platform vertically by lifting it from the ground, intending to exceed the body height so the latter may be placed under the mechanism base. Then such brackets are retracted, resulting in the platform lowering reverse movement, also from the ground, making it set on the dolly body, retracting it horizontally.

In such condition, the platform may be transported in an already-assembled position, in roads, to the drill shaft. At the place, after taking the body off by activating the brackets in a reverse motion, the platform is properly locked by the mechanism base on the concrete ground together with the drill shaft head, then lifted and positioned by the arms in a pantographic system. Then, after positioning the telescopic column vertically the probing equipment may receive the drilling column to perform the probing procedure.

After finishing the probing the telescopic column is retracted and laid down over the platform, as the arms are moved again to lower it in a pantographic system. Afterwards, the brackets are activated so the dolly body is set, and the assembled platform may be transported to be stored or directly to other shaft, and so forth.

In an overview, the mechanism and systems related to it may be explained in a more detailed way by the drawings attached, whereby they are:

Picture 1—perspective view of the platform fitted with such mechanism, positioned in the lifting condition together with the drill shaft head, as its telescopic column is structured for the probing procedure. As checked, the brackets are located in the mechanism base, in addition to the rails attached to the arms lower edges, connected to an hydraulic piston plunger, The arms are interlocked and connected between them by a center axle, as the upper edges are connected to rails under the platform flooring.

In the pictures shown below, from 2 to 6, it presents the lifting and lowering system to set the platform on the body, to transport it to the probing place;

Picture 2—side view of the platform stored in a warehouse, in lowered condition, i.e., mechanism arms open, after sliding the rails by hydraulic power pressing, In this condition the laid-down platform with the telescopic column is lowered by its arms to its base;

Picture 3—upper view of the platform that shows the aligned body of a dolly, Brackets are extended horizontally, as shown in the sides, which exceed the body (wheel house) length;

Picture 4—sequentially show the sides of vertically-activated brackets, forcing them from the ground to lift the platform until it exceeds the dolly height. In this condition the doily may go backwards and put its body under the mechanism base;

Picture 5—sequentially shows at its sides that after inputting the body, the vertically-activated brackets are retracted until the platform is lowered and set by the mechanism base;

Picture 6—upper view of the horizontally-activated bracket on its retracting move together with the body sides,

By the picture below (7), the platform lifting and lowering system diagram is presented along with the drill shaft head:

Picture 7—sequentially shown in the sides that after reaching the drill shaft head and the reverse movement activation of the brackets to retrieve the body and lower the platform in order to set it in the concrete floor around such shaft head, the pantographic system is activated by the mechanism arms. As observed, as long as the arms are pulled by the hydraulic piston plunger, sliding through the rails, it is dosed and it lifts the platform by the pantographic system, positioning it over the shaft head, proceeding with the vertical positioning of the telescopic column to the drilling column.

According to the attached drawings, the ‘PROBING EQUIPMENT PLATFORM, FITTED WITH A MOBILE LIFTING AND LOWERING MECHANISM FOR TRANSPORTATION AND LIFTING AND LOWERING SYSTEM OVER THE DRILL SHAFT HEAD’, object of the patent of invention request hereof, is its comprised of a platform (1) used over the oil/gas shaft head, supporting the probing equipment, in such flooring (2), and receptor rails (3) of the upper edges (4) attachments from a set of arms (5) interlocked and fixed between them through a horizontal axle (6) are installed.

The arms (5) have their lower edges (7) attached to parallel rails (8) to the rails (3) installed over a receptor base (9) of the hydraulic piston (10), whose plunger (11) is connected to the lower edges (7) of such arms (5). This base (9) receives such bracket (12) in its vertices with hydraulic pistons activated horizontally and vertically, forming the mechanism adapted to the probing equipment (1), as it is specifically shown in picture

As the equipment is comprised of such items, it shall have the telescopic column (T) retracted and laid down by hydraulic power over its chassis (2), thus it can be compacted and stabilized when the arms (5) are open with its upper (4) and lower (7) edges, at apposite sides, pressed by the plunger (11) of the piston (10), as shown in picture 2. In this condition the platform (1) may be stored assembled in a warehouse, for example, of the probing company or may be transported,

For use in the probing procedures, as shown in picture 3, the platform (1) along with the probing equipment above, receives the body (C) alignment from a dolly, then the brackets (12) are extended horizontally by their hydraulic pistons. After exceeding the body (C) wheel house width, the brackets (12) arc vertically activated, as shown in picture 4 sequence, forcing the platform (1) to lift itself from the ground (8) until the mechanism hose (9) exceeds the body (C) height. After handling the dolly and inserting the body (C) under the base (9), the pistons relieve their pressure and the brackets (12) are gradually retracted, lowering. the platform base until it touches the body, now moving away from the ground (S) proportionally in the opposite direction of the weight applied by the platform (1), which lowers itself to the mechanism base (9), setting it smoothly in the body (C) as shown in picture 5 sequence, Then the pistons activate the brackets horizontally towards their retraction, along with the body (C) sides, as shown in picture 6.

After being set, the assembled platform (1) may be transported on roads to the probing place, where the dolly is parked with its body (C) over the concrete floor (P) around the drill shaft head, as shown in picture 1. After activating the brackets (12) in a reverse direction, the platform (1) left by the dolly is lowered and locked in the concrete floor over the drill shaft head.

Afterwards, the piston (10) is activated and its plunger (11) pushes the lower edges (7) of the arms (5) that, along with their upper (4) ones, slide through rails (3) and (8), closing itself against its horizontal axle (5), in the pantographic system. As shown in picture 7, as long as the arms (5) are pushed and closed by the hydraulic power, the pantographic lifts the platform (1) from the base (9) until the former is properly positioned over the drill shaft head. At last, the telescopic column (T) is positioned vertically to receive the drilling column to perform the probing procedure.

After concluding the drilling the telescopic column (T) retraction occurs, laid down over the platform (1) floor (2), then when the piston (10) is once again released to open the arms (5) by the pantographic system, in order to lower the platform (1) and bring it against the base (9). Thus the equipment is ready to be transported by dolly to other probing place or taken to the warehouse to be used again, as the same system is still required.
