There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.

The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a game assembly according to an embodiment of the disclosure.

FIG. 2 is a front view of an embodiment of the disclosure.

FIG. 3 is a back view of an embodiment of the disclosure.

FIG. 4 is a schematic view of rules of an embodiment of the disclosure.

FIG. 5 is a schematic view of scoring of an embodiment of the disclosure.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 5 thereof, a new game device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.

As best illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 5, the game assembly 10 generally comprises a plurality of cards 12. Each of the cards 12 has a first side 14 and a second side 16. The first side 14 has indicia 18 printed thereon. The indicia 18 comprise an image of biblical characters.

The second side 16 has indicia 20 printed thereon. The indicia 20 corresponding to the second side 16 comprise words describing the biblical characters on the first side 14. The indicia 20 corresponding to the second side 16 further comprise a question relating to why the associated biblical characters are present in scripture. The indicia 20 corresponding to the second side 16 further comprise an associated biblical passage with respect to the biblical characters. Each of the cards 12 has unique biblical characters and unique words with respect to each other.

A box 22 is provided and the cards 12 are stored within the box 22. The box 22 has a top side 24 and the top side 24 is open to access an interior of the box 22. The box 22 has an outer surface 26 and the outer surface 26 has indicia 28 printed thereon. The indicia 28 corresponding to the box 22 comprise words. The words on the box 22 may comprise the words “Glory Stories”. A lid 30 is removably positioned on the top side 24 such that the lid 30 closes the box 22.

In use, players of the game determine a total number of points needed to win the game. The players decide which player will be the first player. The box 22 is positioned in front of the first player and the first player draws a selected one of the cards 12 from the box 22. The first player holds the selected card 12 up so the second side 16 is visible to the other players. The first player verbally identifies the biblical characters on the first side 14 of the selected card 12. The first player verbally relates the story associated with the biblical character on the selected card 12. The first player verbally relates why the biblical character on the selected card 12 is present in scripture.

The other players award points to the first player based on the accuracy of the identification of the biblical characters, the accuracy of the verbal relation of the story of the associated biblical character and the accuracy of the reasons for the biblical character appearing in scripture. One point is awarded for correctly identifying the biblical character. One or two points are awarded for the degree of accuracy regarding the first player's verbal description of the story associated with the biblical character on the selected card. One or two points are awarded for the degree of accuracy regarding the first player's verbal description of why the biblical character on the selected card appears in scripture.

The box 22 is moved in front of the next player after the points have been awarded to the first player. The game play is repeated for each consecutive player. Each player can earn a maximum of five points per turn. The player describing the selected card 12 is awarded the maximum number of points if the other players cannot agree on the number of points awarded to the player holding the selected card 12.

With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.

Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
