Clickable Lock
A lock device is disclosed. The lock device includes a first portion and a second portion. The first portion has a hollow portion and a connecting section wherein the connecting section is at the periphery of the hollow portion. The second portion is configured to be engaged to the hollow portion of the first portion when the second portion is slid in a biased direction across the connecting section of the hollow portion and thus mounted on the first portion. A plurality of elastic clicks disposed on an inner surface of the first portion. The sliding movement of the second portion is stopped by one or more stoppers to interlock second portion with first portion, wherein the one or more stoppers are disposed at an end of the connecting section. The second portion is positioned parallel to the first portion in a locked state.
The present disclosure generally relates to the field of lock mechanism. More particularly, the present invention relates to a clickable lock.
BACKGROUNDGenerally, wearable devices/watches or ornaments, such as pendant, brooch, bracelet, earrings, etc., have a wearing mechanism fixed with an aesthetically good decorative part. However, the decorative part in such wearable devices or ornaments cannot be changed because they are fixed to the wearing mechanism.
SUMMARYIn one embodiment, a lock device is disclosed.
In an another embodiment, a method of assembling a lock device is disclosed. The method may comprise: gliding a second portion of the lock device from a first portion of the lock device in a biased direction to mount the second portion over the first portion or vice-versa; guiding the gliding movement in a connecting section provided in the first portion of the lock device; and stopping the said movement of the second portion by one or more stoppers thereby interlocking the first portion and second portion.
In a further embodiment, a method of disengaging a lock device is disclose, when the lock device is in operation. The method may comprise: actuating one or more stoppers to release second portion and first portion of the lock device from an interlocked state and is mounted one over the another; gliding the second portion of the lock device over the first portion of the lock device in reverse biased direction; and disengaging the second portion of the lock device from the first portion of the lock device.
