SPECIFICATION Background of the InventionThe present invention is in the technical field of portable seating devices. More particularly, the present invention is in the technical field of folding elevated seating devices.
Standard folding seating devices, such as a camping chair, rest on the ground. This configuration forces users to look through fences when attending sporting events with enclosed fields. Accordingly it is desirable to raise the seating platform to a level close to that of the fence so as to see over it.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONThe present invention is an elevated sporting event chair that allows users to see over a fence. It uses two long supports that extend to the ground and two supports that attach near the top of the fence.

The mounting arm 03 and the mounting arm 04 can be made of any material sufficiently strong and rigid and can be any shape. The telescoping leg support 16 and telescoping leg support 17 can be made of any sufficiently strong, rigid and hollow material and can be any shape. The foldable camping chair 01 is a common camping chair readily available on the market today; it could be replaced with a chair of different design. The various components of the standard foldable camping chair 01 can be made of various materials.
The advantages of the present invention include, without limitation, the ability to easily see over a fence while in a comfortable sitting position, like a tall chair. Further, the connection between the fence, the groove 13 and the groove 14 provides more stability than a tall chair would. Still further it folds down to a comfortable size and is much more portable than a tall chair.
In broad embodiment, the present invention is a method of raising a seat or platform to a level close to that of a fence.
While the foregoing written description of the invention enables one of ordinary skill to make and use what is considered presently to be the best mode thereof, those of ordinary skill will understand and appreciate the existence of variations, combinations, and equivalents of the specific embodiment, method, and examples herein. The invention should therefore not be limited by the above described embodiment, method, and examples, but by all embodiments and methods within the scope and spirit of the invention.
